אָמַ֤ר says : ’ā·mar כָּל־ ‘ Every kāl- נֵ֖בֶל wineskin nê·ḇel יִמָּ֣לֵא shall be filled yim·mā·lê יָ֑יִן with wine . ’ yā·yin וְאָמְר֣וּ And when they reply wə·’ā·mə·rū אֵלֶ֔יךָ - , ’ê·le·ḵā לֹ֣א ‘ Don’t we lō הֲיָדֹ֙עַ֙ surely hă·yā·ḏō·a‘ נֵדַ֔ע know nê·ḏa‘ כִּ֥י that kî כָל־ every ḵāl נֵ֖בֶל wineskin nê·ḇel יִמָּ֥לֵא should be filled yim·mā·lê יָֽיִן׃ with wine ?’ yā·yin Jeremiah 13:13 וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ then you are to tell wə·’ā·mar·tā אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם them ’ă·lê·hem כֹּֽה־ that this is what kōh- יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh הִנְנִ֣י . . . hin·nî אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar מְמַלֵּ֣א ‘ I am going to fill mə·mal·lê אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שִׁכָּרֽוֹן׃ with drunkenness šik·kā·rō·wn כָּל־ all kāl- יֹשְׁבֵ֣י who live yō·šə·ḇê הַזֹּ֟את in this haz·zōṯ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָאָ֪רֶץ land — hā·’ā·reṣ הַמְּלָכִ֣ים the kings ham·mə·lā·ḵîm הַיֹּשְׁבִים֩ who sit hay·yō·šə·ḇîm לְדָוִ֨ד on David’s lə·ḏā·wiḏ עַל־ - ‘al- כִּסְא֜וֹ throne , kis·’ōw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים the priests , hak·kō·hă·nîm וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַנְּבִיאִ֗ים the prophets , han·nə·ḇî·’îm וְאֵ֛ת - wə·’êṯ כָּל־ and all kāl- יֹשְׁבֵ֥י the people yō·šə·ḇê יְרוּשָׁלִָ֖ם of Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim Jeremiah 13:14 וְנִפַּצְתִּים֩ I will smash them wə·nip·paṣ·tîm אֶל־ against ’el- אִ֨ישׁ one ’îš אָחִ֜יו another , ’ā·ḥîw וְהָאָב֧וֹת fathers wə·hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ וְהַבָּנִ֛ים and sons wə·hab·bā·nîm יַחְדָּ֖ו alike , yaḥ·dāw נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh לֹֽא־ I will allow no lō- אֶחְמ֧וֹל mercy ’eḥ·mō·wl וְלֹֽא־ [or] wə·lō- אָח֛וּס pity ’ā·ḥūs וְלֹ֥א [or] wə·lō אֲרַחֵ֖ם compassion ’ă·ra·ḥêm מֵהַשְׁחִיתָֽם׃ס to keep Me from destroying them . ’” mê·haš·ḥî·ṯām Jeremiah 13:15 שִׁמְע֥וּ Listen šim·‘ū וְהַאֲזִ֖ינוּ and give heed . wə·ha·’ă·zî·nū אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּגְבָּ֑הוּ be arrogant , tiḡ·bā·hū כִּ֥י for kî יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֵּֽר׃ has spoken . dib·bêr Jeremiah 13:16 תְּנוּ֩ Give tə·nū כָּבוֹד֙ glory kā·ḇō·wḏ לַיהוָ֨ה to YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֤ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem בְּטֶ֣רֶם before bə·ṭe·rem יַחְשִׁ֔ךְ He brings darkness , yaḥ·šiḵ וּבְטֶ֛רֶם before ū·ḇə·ṭe·rem רַגְלֵיכֶ֖ם your feet raḡ·lê·ḵem יִֽתְנַגְּפ֥וּ stumble yiṯ·nag·gə·p̄ū עַל־ on ‘al- נָ֑שֶׁף the dusky nā·šep̄ הָ֣רֵי mountains . hā·rê וְקִוִּיתֶ֤ם You wait wə·qiw·wî·ṯem לְאוֹר֙ for light , lə·’ō·wr וְשָׂמָ֣הּ but He turns it wə·śā·māh לְצַלְמָ֔וֶת into deep gloom lə·ṣal·mā·weṯ יָשִׁית and yå̄·šīṯ לַעֲרָפֶֽל׃ thick darkness . la·‘ă·rā·p̄el Jeremiah 13:17 וְאִם֙ But if wə·’im לֹ֣א you do not lō
