שָׁ֑מָּה . . . . šām·māh וְהִנֵּה֙ But now wə·hin·nêh הָאֵז֔וֹר [it] hā·’ê·zō·wr נִשְׁחַ֣ת was ruined — niš·ḥaṯ לֹ֥א of no lō יִצְלַ֖ח use yiṣ·laḥ לַכֹּֽל׃פ at all . lak·kōl Jeremiah 13:8 דְבַר־ Then the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me : ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ . . . lê·mōr Jeremiah 13:9 כֹּ֖ה “ This is what kōh יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar כָּ֠כָה In the same way kā·ḵāh אַשְׁחִ֞ית I will ruin ’aš·ḥîṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- גְּא֧וֹן the pride gə·’ō·wn יְהוּדָ֛ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הָרָֽב׃ the great hā·rāḇ גְּא֥וֹן pride gə·’ō·wn יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם of Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim Jeremiah 13:10 הַזֶּ֨ה These haz·zeh הָרָ֜ע evil hā·rā‘ הָעָם֩ people , hā·‘ām הַֽמֵּאֲנִ֣ים׀ who refuse ham·mê·’ă·nîm לִשְׁמ֣וֹעַ to listen liš·mō·w·a‘ אֶת־ ’eṯ- דְּבָרַ֗י to My words , də·ḇā·ray הַהֹֽלְכִים֙ who follow ha·hō·lə·ḵîm בִּשְׁרִר֣וּת the stubbornness biš·ri·rūṯ לִבָּ֔ם of their own hearts , lib·bām וַיֵּלְכ֗וּ and who go way·yê·lə·ḵū אַֽחֲרֵי֙ after ’a·ḥă·rê אֲחֵרִ֔ים other ’ă·ḥê·rîm אֱלֹהִ֣ים gods ’ĕ·lō·hîm לְעָבְדָ֖ם to serve lə·‘ā·ḇə·ḏām וּלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֣ת and worship ū·lə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wōṯ לָהֶ֑ם them , lā·hem וִיהִי֙ they will be wî·hî הַזֶּ֔ה like this haz·zeh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer כָּאֵז֣וֹר loincloth — kā·’ê·zō·wr לֹא־ of no lō- יִצְלַ֖ח use yiṣ·laḥ לַכֹּֽל׃ at all . lak·kōl Jeremiah 13:11 כִּ֡י For kî כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ just as ka·’ă·šer הָאֵז֜וֹר a loincloth hā·’ê·zō·wr יִדְבַּ֨ק clings yiḏ·baq אֶל־ to ’el- אִ֗ישׁ a man’s ’îš מָתְנֵי־ waist , mā·ṯə·nê- כֵּ֣ן so {I have made} kên כָּל־ the whole kāl- בֵּ֨ית house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ the whole kāl- בֵּ֤ית house bêṯ יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh הִדְבַּ֣קְתִּי cling hiḏ·baq·tî אֵ֠לַי to Me , ’ê·lay אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh לִֽהְי֥וֹת so that they might be lih·yō·wṯ לִי֙ My lî לְעָ֔ם people lə·‘ām וּלְשֵׁ֥ם for My renown ū·lə·šêm וְלִתְהִלָּ֖ה and praise wə·liṯ·hil·lāh וּלְתִפְאָ֑רֶת and glory . ū·lə·ṯip̄·’ā·reṯ וְלֹ֖א But they did not wə·lō שָׁמֵֽעוּ׃ listen . šā·mê·‘ū Jeremiah 13:12 וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ Therefore you are to tell wə·’ā·mar·tā הַזֶּ֗הס them haz·zɛ·hs אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם that ’ă·lê·hem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַדָּבָ֣ר - had·dā·ḇār כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl
