וְעַד־ to wə·‘aḏ- קְצֵ֣ה the other qə·ṣêh הָאָ֑רֶץ . . . . hā·’ā·reṣ אֵ֥ין No ’ên לְכָל־ . . . lə·ḵāl בָּשָֽׂר׃ס flesh bā·śār שָׁל֖וֹם has peace . šā·lō·wm Jeremiah 12:13 זָרְע֤וּ They have sown zā·rə·‘ū חִטִּים֙ wheat ḥiṭ·ṭîm קָצָ֔רוּ but harvested qā·ṣā·rū וְקֹצִ֣ים thorns . wə·qō·ṣîm נֶחְל֖וּ They have exhausted themselves neḥ·lū לֹ֣א to no lō יוֹעִ֑לוּ avail . yō·w·‘i·lū וּבֹ֙שׁוּ֙ Bear the shame ū·ḇō·šū מִתְּבוּאֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם of your harvest mit·tə·ḇū·’ō·ṯê·ḵem מֵחֲר֖וֹן because of the fierce mê·ḥă·rō·wn אַף־ anger ’ap̄- יְהוָֽה׃ס of YHWH . ” Yah·weh Jeremiah 12:14 כֹּ֣ה׀ This is what kōh יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar עַל־ “ As for ‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- הָֽרָעִ֔ים My evil hā·rā·‘îm שְׁכֵנַי֙ neighbors šə·ḵê·nay הַנֹּֽגְעִים֙ who attack han·nō·ḡə·‘îm בַּֽנַּחֲלָ֔ה the inheritance ban·na·ḥă·lāh אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- הִנְחַ֥לְתִּי I bequeathed hin·ḥal·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַמִּ֖י to My people ‘am·mî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל Israel , yiś·rā·’êl הִנְנִ֤י . . . hin·nî נֹֽתְשָׁם֙ I am about to uproot them nō·ṯə·šām מֵעַ֣ל from mê·‘al אַדְמָתָ֔ם their land , ’aḏ·mā·ṯām וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- אֶתּ֥וֹשׁ I will uproot ’et·tō·wōš בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh מִתּוֹכָֽם׃ from among them . mit·tō·w·ḵām Jeremiah 12:15 וְהָיָ֗ה But wə·hā·yāh אַֽחֲרֵי֙ after ’a·ḥă·rê נָתְשִׁ֣י I have uprooted them , nā·ṯə·šî אוֹתָ֔ם - ’ō·w·ṯām אָשׁ֖וּב I will once again ’ā·šūḇ וְרִֽחַמְתִּ֑ים have compassion on them wə·ri·ḥam·tîm וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֛ים and return wa·hă·ši·ḇō·ṯîm אִ֥ישׁ each one ’îš לְנַחֲלָת֖וֹ to his inheritance lə·na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw וְאִ֥ישׁ . . . wə·’îš לְאַרְצֽוֹ׃ and to his land . lə·’ar·ṣōw Jeremiah 12:16 וְהָיָ֡ה And wə·hā·yāh אִם־ if ’im- לָמֹ֣ד they will diligently learn lā·mōḏ יִלְמְדוּ֩ . . . yil·mə·ḏū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דַּֽרְכֵ֨י the ways dar·ḵê עַמִּ֜י of My people ‘am·mî לְהִשָּׁבֵ֤עַ [and] swear lə·hiš·šā·ḇê·a‘ בִּשְׁמִי֙ by My name, [saying] , biš·mî יְהוָ֔ה ‘ As surely as YHWH Yah·weh חַי־ lives ’ — ḥay- כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר just as ka·’ă·šer לִמְּדוּ֙ they [once] taught lim·mə·ḏū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַמִּ֔י My people ‘am·mî לְהִשָּׁבֵ֖עַ to swear lə·hiš·šā·ḇê·a‘ בַּבָּ֑עַל by Baal — bab·bā·‘al וְנִבְנ֖וּ then they will be established wə·niḇ·nū בְּת֥וֹךְ among bə·ṯō·wḵ עַמִּֽי׃ My people . ‘am·mî Jeremiah 12:17 וְאִ֖ם But if wə·’im לֹ֣א they will not lō יִשְׁמָ֑עוּ obey , yiš·mā·‘ū וְנָ֨תַשְׁתִּ֜י then I will uproot wə·nā·ṯaš·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַה֛וּא that ha·hū הַגּ֥וֹי nation ; hag·gō·w נָת֥וֹשׁ I will uproot it nā·ṯō·wōš וְאַבֵּ֖ד and destroy it , wə·’ab·bêḏ נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . ” Yah·weh
