תַּאֲמֵ֣ן trust ta·’ă·mên בָּ֔ם them , bām כִּֽי־ though kî- יְדַבְּר֥וּ they speak yə·ḏab·bə·rū טוֹבֽוֹת׃ס well ṭō·w·ḇō·wṯ אֵלֶ֖יךָ of you . ’ê·le·ḵā Jeremiah 12:7 עָזַ֙בְתִּי֙ I have forsaken ‘ā·zaḇ·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּיתִ֔י My house ; bê·ṯî נָטַ֖שְׁתִּי I have abandoned nā·ṭaš·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נַחֲלָתִ֑י My inheritance . na·ḥă·lā·ṯî נָתַ֛תִּי I have given nā·ṯat·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְדִד֥וּת the love yə·ḏi·ḏūṯ נַפְשִׁ֖י of My life nap̄·šî בְּכַ֥ף into the hands bə·ḵap̄ אֹיְבֶֽיהָ׃ of her enemies . ’ō·yə·ḇe·hā Jeremiah 12:8 נַחֲלָתִ֖י My inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯî הָיְתָה־ has become hā·yə·ṯāh- לִּ֥י to Me lî כְּאַרְיֵ֣ה like a lion kə·’ar·yêh בַיָּ֑עַר in the forest . ḇay·yā·‘ar נָתְנָ֥ה She has roared nā·ṯə·nāh בְּקוֹלָ֖הּ . . . bə·qō·w·lāh עָלַ֛י against Me ; ‘ā·lay עַל־ therefore ‘al- כֵּ֥ן . . . kên שְׂנֵאתִֽיהָ׃ I hate her . śə·nê·ṯî·hā Jeremiah 12:9 נַחֲלָתִי֙ Is [not] My inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯî לִ֔י to Me lî צָב֤וּעַ like a speckled ṣā·ḇū·a‘ הַעַ֨יִט bird of prey ha·‘a·yiṭ הַעַ֖יִט with [other] birds of prey ha·‘a·yiṭ סָבִ֣יב circling sā·ḇîḇ עָלֶ֑יהָ against her ? ‘ā·le·hā לְכ֗וּ Go , lə·ḵū אִסְפ֛וּ gather ’is·p̄ū כָּל־ all kāl- חַיַּ֥ת the beasts ḥay·yaṯ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה of the field ; haś·śā·ḏeh הֵתָ֥יוּ bring them hê·ṯā·yū לְאָכְלָֽה׃ to devour her . lə·’āḵ·lāh Jeremiah 12:10 רַבִּים֙ Many rab·bîm רֹעִ֤ים shepherds rō·‘îm שִֽׁחֲת֣וּ have destroyed ši·ḥă·ṯū כַרְמִ֔י My vineyard ; ḵar·mî בֹּסְס֖וּ they have trampled bō·sə·sū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חֶלְקָתִ֑י My plot of ground . ḥel·qā·ṯî נָֽתְנ֛וּ They have turned nā·ṯə·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חֶמְדָּתִ֖י My pleasant ḥem·dā·ṯî חֶלְקַ֥ת field ḥel·qaṯ שְׁמָמָֽה׃ into a desolate šə·mā·māh לְמִדְבַּ֥ר wasteland . lə·miḏ·bar Jeremiah 12:11 שָׂמָהּ֙ They have made śā·māh שְׁמֵמָ֑ה it a desolation ; šə·mê·māh לִשְׁמָמָ֔ה desolate liš·mā·māh עָלַ֖י before Me , ‘ā·lay אָבְלָ֥ה it mourns . ’ā·ḇə·lāh כָּל־ All kāl- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ נָשַׁ֙מָּה֙ is laid waste , nā·šam·māh כִּ֛י but kî אֵ֥ין no ’ên אִ֖ישׁ man ’îš שָׂ֥ם takes śām עַל־ it to ‘al- לֵֽב׃ heart . lêḇ Jeremiah 12:12 עַֽל־ Over ‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- שְׁפָיִ֣ם the barren heights šə·p̄ā·yim בַּמִּדְבָּ֗ר in the wilderness bam·miḏ·bār שֹֽׁדְדִ֔ים the destroyers šō·ḏə·ḏîm בָּ֚אוּ have come , bā·’ū כִּ֣י for kî חֶ֤רֶב the sword ḥe·reḇ לַֽיהוָה֙ of YHWH Yah·weh אֹֽכְלָ֔ה devours ’ō·ḵə·lāh מִקְצֵה־ from [one] end miq·ṣêh- אֶ֖רֶץ of the earth ’e·reṣ
