יָדַ֜עְתִּי know yā·ḏa‘·tî כִּֽי־ that kî- חָשְׁב֣וּ they had plotted ḥā·šə·ḇū מַחֲשָׁב֗וֹת . . . ma·ḥă·šā·ḇō·wṯ עָלַ֣י׀ against me : ‘ā·lay נַשְׁחִ֨יתָה “ Let us destroy naš·ḥî·ṯāh עֵ֤ץ the tree ‘êṣ בְּלַחְמוֹ֙ with its fruit ; bə·laḥ·mōw וְנִכְרְתֶ֙נּוּ֙ let us cut him off wə·niḵ·rə·ṯen·nū מֵאֶ֣רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ חַיִּ֔ים of the living , ḥay·yîm וּשְׁמ֖וֹ that his name ū·šə·mōw יִזָּכֵ֥ר may be remembered yiz·zā·ḵêr לֹֽא־ no lō- עֽוֹד׃ more .” ‘ō·wḏ Jeremiah 11:20 וַֽיהוָ֤ה O YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאוֹת֙ of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ שֹׁפֵ֣ט who judges šō·p̄êṭ צֶ֔דֶק righteously , ṣe·ḏeq בֹּחֵ֥ן who examines bō·ḥên כְּלָי֖וֹת the heart kə·lā·yō·wṯ וָלֵ֑ב and mind , wā·lêḇ אֶרְאֶ֤ה let me see ’er·’eh נִקְמָֽתְךָ֙ Your vengeance niq·mā·ṯə·ḵā מֵהֶ֔ם upon them , mê·hem כִּ֥י for kî אֵלֶ֖יךָ to You ’ê·le·ḵā גִּלִּ֥יתִי I have committed gil·lî·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רִיבִֽי׃ס my cause . rî·ḇî Jeremiah 11:21 לָכֵ֗ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֤ר says ’ā·mar עַל־ concerning ‘al- אַנְשֵׁ֣י the people ’an·šê עֲנָת֔וֹת of Anathoth ‘ă·nā·ṯō·wṯ הַֽמְבַקְשִׁ֥ים who are seeking ham·ḇaq·šîm אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- נַפְשְׁךָ֖ your life nap̄·šə·ḵā לֵאמֹ֑ר and saying , lê·mōr לֹ֤א “ You must not lō תִנָּבֵא֙ prophesy ṯin·nā·ḇê בְּשֵׁ֣ם in the name bə·šêm יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh וְלֹ֥א . . . wə·lō תָמ֖וּת or you will die ṯā·mūṯ בְּיָדֵֽנוּ׃ס by our hand .” bə·yā·ḏê·nū Jeremiah 11:22 לָכֵ֗ן So lā·ḵên כֹּ֤ה this is what kōh יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֔וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ הִנְנִ֥י . . . hin·nî אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar פֹקֵ֖ד “ I will punish them . p̄ō·qêḏ עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם . . . ‘ă·lê·hem הַבַּֽחוּרִים֙ Their young men hab·ba·ḥū·rîm יָמֻ֣תוּ will die yā·mu·ṯū בַחֶ֔רֶב by the sword , ḇa·ḥe·reḇ בְּנֵיהֶם֙ their sons bə·nê·hem וּבְנ֣וֹתֵיהֶ֔ם and daughters ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯê·hem יָמֻ֖תוּ - yā·mu·ṯū בָּרָעָֽב׃ by famine . bā·rā·‘āḇ Jeremiah 11:23 תִֽהְיֶ֖ה There will be ṯih·yeh לָהֶ֑ם lā·hem לֹ֥א no lō וּשְׁאֵרִ֕ית remnant , ū·šə·’ê·rîṯ כִּֽי־ for kî- אָבִ֥יא I will bring ’ā·ḇî רָעָ֛ה disaster rā·‘āh אֶל־ on ’el- אַנְשֵׁ֥י the people ’an·šê עֲנָת֖וֹת of Anathoth ‘ă·nā·ṯō·wṯ שְׁנַ֥ת in the year šə·naṯ פְּקֻדָּתָֽם׃ס of their punishment .” pə·qud·dā·ṯām Jeremiah 12:1 צַדִּ֤יק Righteous ṣad·dîq אַתָּה֙ [are] You , ’at·tāh יְהוָ֔ה O YHWH , Yah·weh כִּ֥י when kî אָרִ֖יב I plead ’ā·rîḇ אֵלֶ֑יךָ before You . ’ê·le·ḵā אַ֤ךְ Yet ’aḵ מִשְׁפָּטִים֙ about [Your] judgments miš·pā·ṭîm אֲדַבֵּ֣ר I wish to contend ’ă·ḏab·bêr אוֹתָ֔ךְ with You : ’ō·w·ṯāḵ
