עֲבָדַ֣י My servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏay הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים the prophets han·nə·ḇî·’îm י֖וֹם . . . yō·wm הַשְׁכֵּ֥ם again and again haš·kêm וְשָׁלֹֽחַ׃ . . . . wə·šā·lō·aḥ Jeremiah 7:26 וְל֤וֹא Yet they would not wə·lō·w שָׁמְעוּ֙ listen šā·mə·‘ū אֵלַ֔י to Me ’ê·lay וְלֹ֥א [or] wə·lō הִטּ֖וּ incline hiṭ·ṭū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָזְנָ֑ם their ear , ’ā·zə·nām וַיַּקְשׁוּ֙ but they stiffened way·yaq·šū אֶת־ ’eṯ- עָרְפָּ֔ם their necks ‘ā·rə·pām הֵרֵ֖עוּ [and] did more evil hê·rê·‘ū מֵאֲבוֹתָֽם׃ than their fathers . mê·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām Jeremiah 7:27 וְדִבַּרְתָּ֤ When you tell wə·ḏib·bar·tā אֲלֵיהֶם֙ them ’ă·lê·hem כָּל־ all kāl- הָאֵ֔לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֣ים things , had·də·ḇā·rîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְלֹ֥א they will not wə·lō יִשְׁמְע֖וּ listen yiš·mə·‘ū אֵלֶ֑יךָ to you . ’ê·le·ḵā וְקָרָ֥אתָ When you call wə·qā·rā·ṯā אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם to them , ’ă·lê·hem וְלֹ֥א they will not wə·lō יַעֲנֽוּכָה׃ answer . ya·‘ă·nū·ḵāh Jeremiah 7:28 וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ Therefore you must say wə·’ā·mar·tā אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם to them , ’ă·lê·hem זֶ֤ה ‘ This zeh הַגּוֹי֙ is the nation hag·gō·w אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer לֽוֹא־ would not lō·w- שָׁמְע֗וּ listen šā·mə·‘ū בְּקוֹל֙ to the voice bə·qō·wl יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָ֔יו their God ’ĕ·lō·hāw וְלֹ֥א and would not wə·lō לָקְח֖וּ receive lā·qə·ḥū מוּסָ֑ר correction . mū·sār הָֽאֱמוּנָ֔ה Truth hā·’ĕ·mū·nāh אָֽבְדָה֙ has perished ; ’ā·ḇə·ḏāh וְנִכְרְתָ֖ה it has disappeared wə·niḵ·rə·ṯāh מִפִּיהֶֽם׃ס from their lips . mip·pî·hem Jeremiah 7:29 גָּזִּ֤י Cut off gāz·zî נִזְרֵךְ֙ your hair niz·rêḵ וְֽהַשְׁלִ֔יכִי and throw it away . wə·haš·lî·ḵî וּשְׂאִ֥י Raise up ū·śə·’î קִינָ֑ה a lamentation qî·nāh עַל־ on ‘al- שְׁפָיִ֖ם the barren heights , šə·p̄ā·yim כִּ֚י for kî יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh מָאַ֣ס has rejected mā·’as וַיִּטֹּ֖שׁ and forsaken way·yiṭ·ṭōš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דּ֥וֹר the generation dō·wr עֶבְרָתֽוֹ׃ of His wrath . ’ ‘eḇ·rā·ṯōw Jeremiah 7:30 כִּֽי־ For kî- בְנֵי־ the people ḇə·nê- יְהוּדָ֥ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh עָשׂ֨וּ have done ‘ā·śū הָרַ֛ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינַ֖י in My sight , bə·‘ê·nay נְאֻום־ declares nə·’u·wm- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh שָׂ֣מוּ They have set up śā·mū שִׁקּֽוּצֵיהֶ֗ם their abominations šiq·qū·ṣê·hem בַּבַּ֛יִת in the house bab·ba·yiṯ אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- נִקְרָא־ bears niq·rā- שְׁמִ֥י My Name šə·mî עָלָ֖יו . . . , ‘ā·lāw לְטַמְּאֽוֹ׃ and so have defiled it . lə·ṭam·mə·’ōw Jeremiah 7:31 וּבָנ֞וּ They have built ū·ḇā·nū בָּמ֣וֹת the high places bā·mō·wṯ הַתֹּ֗פֶת of Topheth hat·tō·p̄eṯ אֲשֶׁר֙ - ’ă·šer בְּגֵ֣יא in the Valley of Hinnom bə·ḡê
