וְלֹ֥א and not wə·lō תִכְבֶּֽה׃ס be extinguished . ṯiḵ·beh Jeremiah 7:21 כֹּ֥ה This is what kōh יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֛ר says : ’ā·mar עֹלוֹתֵיכֶ֛ם Add your burnt offerings ‘ō·lō·w·ṯê·ḵem סְפ֥וּ . . . sə·p̄ū עַל־ to ‘al- זִבְחֵיכֶ֖ם your other sacrifices ziḇ·ḥê·ḵem וְאִכְל֥וּ and eat wə·’iḵ·lū בָשָֽׂר׃ the meat yourselves ! ḇā·śār Jeremiah 7:22 כִּ֠י For kî בְּי֛וֹם when bə·yō·wm וְלֹ֣א . . . wə·lō הוֹצִיא I brought hō·ṣī אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙ your fathers ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem אוֹתָ֖ם - ’ō·w·ṯām מֵאֶ֣רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim לֹֽא־ I did not merely lō- דִבַּ֤רְתִּי vvv ḏib·bar·tî אֶת־ vvv ’eṯ- צִוִּיתִ֔ים command them ṣiw·wî·ṯîm עַל־ about ‘al- דִּבְרֵ֥י . . . diḇ·rê עוֹלָ֖ה burnt offerings ‘ō·w·lāh וָזָֽבַח׃ and sacrifices , wā·zā·ḇaḥ Jeremiah 7:23 כִּ֣י but kî אִֽם־ . . . ’im- אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַדָּבָ֣ר - had·dā·ḇār הַ֠זֶּה this is what haz·zeh צִוִּ֨יתִי I commanded them : ṣiw·wî·ṯî אוֹתָ֤ם - ’ō·w·ṯām לֵאמֹר֙ - lê·mōr שִׁמְע֣וּ Obey Me , šim·‘ū בְקוֹלִ֔י . . . ḇə·qō·w·lî וְהָיִ֤יתִי and I will be wə·hā·yî·ṯî לָכֶם֙ your lā·ḵem לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים God , lê·lō·hîm וְאַתֶּ֖ם and you wə·’at·tem תִּֽהְיוּ־ will be tih·yū- לִ֣י My lî לְעָ֑ם people . lə·‘ām וַהֲלַכְתֶּ֗ם You must walk wa·hă·laḵ·tem בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ the ways had·de·reḵ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer אֲצַוֶּ֣ה I have commanded ’ă·ṣaw·weh אֶתְכֶ֔ם you , ’eṯ·ḵem לְמַ֖עַן so that lə·ma·‘an יִיטַ֥ב it may go well yî·ṭaḇ לָכֶֽם׃ with you . lā·ḵem Jeremiah 7:24 וְלֹ֤א Yet they did not wə·lō שָֽׁמְעוּ֙ listen šā·mə·‘ū וְלֹֽא־ or wə·lō- הִטּ֣וּ incline hiṭ·ṭū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָזְנָ֔ם their ear , ’ā·zə·nām וַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙ but they followed way·yê·lə·ḵū בִּשְׁרִר֖וּת the stubborn biš·ri·rūṯ בְּמֹ֣עֵצ֔וֹת inclinations bə·mō·‘ê·ṣō·wṯ הָרָ֑ע of their own evil hā·rā‘ לִבָּ֣ם hearts . lib·bām וַיִּהְי֥וּ They went way·yih·yū לְאָח֖וֹר backward lə·’ā·ḥō·wr וְלֹ֥א and not wə·lō לְפָנִֽים׃ forward . lə·p̄ā·nîm Jeremiah 7:25 לְמִן־ From lə·min- הַיּ֗וֹם the day hay·yō·wm אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙ your fathers ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem יָצְא֤וּ came out yā·ṣə·’ū מֵאֶ֣רֶץ of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim עַ֖ד until ‘aḏ הַזֶּ֑ה this haz·zeh הַיּ֣וֹם day , hay·yō·wm וָאֶשְׁלַ֤ח I have sent wā·’eš·laḥ אֲלֵיכֶם֙ you ’ă·lê·ḵem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl-
