אֲחֵיכֶ֔ם your brothers , ’ă·ḥê·ḵem אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- זֶ֥רַע the descendants ze·ra‘ אֶפְרָֽיִם׃ס of Ephraim . ’ep̄·rā·yim Jeremiah 7:16 וְאַתָּ֞ה As for you , wə·’at·tāh אַל־ do not ’al- תִּתְפַּלֵּ֣ל׀ pray tiṯ·pal·lêl בְּעַד־ for bə·‘aḏ- הַזֶּ֗ה these haz·zeh הָעָ֣ם people , hā·‘ām וְאַל־ do not wə·’al- תִּשָּׂ֧א offer tiś·śā רִנָּ֥ה a plea rin·nāh וּתְפִלָּ֖ה or petition ū·ṯə·p̄il·lāh בַעֲדָ֛ם on their behalf , ḇa·‘ă·ḏām וְאַל־ and do not wə·’al- תִּפְגַּע־ beg tip̄·ga‘- בִּ֑י Me , bî כִּי־ for kî- אֵינֶ֥נִּי I will not ’ê·nen·nî שֹׁמֵ֖עַ listen šō·mê·a‘ אֹתָֽךְ׃ to you . ’ō·ṯāḵ Jeremiah 7:17 הַֽאֵינְךָ֣ Do you not ha·’ê·nə·ḵā רֹאֶ֔ה see rō·’eh מָ֛ה what māh הֵ֥מָּה they hêm·māh עֹשִׂ֖ים are doing ‘ō·śîm בְּעָרֵ֣י in the cities bə·‘ā·rê יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וּבְחֻצ֖וֹת and in the streets ū·ḇə·ḥu·ṣō·wṯ יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ of Jerusalem ? yə·rū·šā·lim Jeremiah 7:18 הַבָּנִ֞ים The sons hab·bā·nîm מְלַקְּטִ֣ים gather mə·laq·qə·ṭîm עֵצִ֗ים wood , ‘ê·ṣîm וְהָֽאָבוֹת֙ the fathers wə·hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ מְבַעֲרִ֣ים light mə·ḇa·‘ă·rîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֵ֔שׁ the fire , hā·’êš וְהַנָּשִׁ֖ים and the women wə·han·nā·šîm לָשׁ֣וֹת knead lā·šō·wṯ בָּצֵ֑ק the dough bā·ṣêq לַעֲשׂ֨וֹת to make la·‘ă·śō·wṯ כַּוָּנִ֜ים cakes kaw·wā·nîm לִמְלֶ֣כֶת for the Queen lim·le·ḵeṯ הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם of Heaven ; haš·šā·ma·yim וְהַסֵּ֤ךְ they pour out wə·has·sêḵ נְסָכִים֙ drink offerings nə·sā·ḵîm אֲחֵרִ֔ים to other ’ă·ḥê·rîm לֵאלֹהִ֣ים gods lê·lō·hîm לְמַ֖עַן to lə·ma·‘an הַכְעִסֵֽנִי׃ provoke Me to anger . haḵ·‘i·sê·nî Jeremiah 7:19 הַאֹתִ֛י - ha·’ō·ṯî הֵ֥ם But am I the One hêm מַכְעִסִ֖ים they are provoking ? maḵ·‘i·sîm נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh הֲל֣וֹא Is it not hă·lō·w אֹתָ֔ם themselves ’ō·ṯām לְמַ֖עַן they spite , lə·ma·‘an בֹּ֥שֶׁת to their own shame bō·šeṯ פְּנֵיהֶֽם׃ס . . . ? pə·nê·hem Jeremiah 7:20 לָכֵ֞ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּה־ this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהֹוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר׀ says : ’ā·mar הִנֵּ֨ה Behold , hin·nêh אַפִּ֤י My anger ’ap·pî וַֽחֲמָתִי֙ and My fury wa·ḥă·mā·ṯî נִתֶּ֙כֶת֙ will nit·te·ḵeṯ אֶל־ be poured out on ’el- הַזֶּ֔ה this haz·zeh הַמָּק֣וֹם place , ham·mā·qō·wm עַל־ on ‘al- הָֽאָדָם֙ man hā·’ā·ḏām הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה and beast , hab·bə·hê·māh וְעַל־ on wə·‘al- עֵ֥ץ the trees ‘êṣ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה of the field haś·śā·ḏeh וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- וְעַל־ and wə·‘al- פְּרִ֣י the produce pə·rî הָֽאֲדָמָ֑ה of the land , hā·’ă·ḏā·māh וּבָעֲרָ֖ה and it will burn ū·ḇā·‘ă·rāh
