בָּחֳרִי־ And hot bā·ḥo·rî- אָֽף׃ס with anger , ’āp̄ וַיֵּצֵ֥א [Moses] left way·yê·ṣê פַּרְעֹ֖ה Pharaoh’s par·‘ōh מֵֽעִם־ presence . mê·‘im- Exodus 11:9 יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses , mō·šeh פַּרְעֹ֑ה “ Pharaoh par·‘ōh לֹא־ will not lō- יִשְׁמַ֥ע listen yiš·ma‘ אֲלֵיכֶ֖ם to you , ’ă·lê·ḵem לְמַ֛עַן so that lə·ma·‘an מוֹפְתַ֖י My wonders mō·wp̄·ṯay רְב֥וֹת may be multiplied rə·ḇō·wṯ בְּאֶ֥רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt . ” miṣ·rā·yim Exodus 11:10 וּמֹשֶׁ֣ה Moses ū·mō·šeh וְאַהֲרֹ֗ן and Aaron wə·’a·hă·rōn עָשׂ֛וּ did ‘ā·śū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הָאֵ֖לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַמֹּפְתִ֥ים wonders ham·mō·p̄ə·ṯîm לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê פַרְעֹ֑ה Pharaoh , p̄ar·‘ōh יְהוָה֙ but YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיְחַזֵּ֤ק hardened way·ḥaz·zêq פַּרְעֹ֔ה Pharaoh’s par·‘ōh לֵ֣ב heart lêḇ וְלֹֽא־ so that he would not wə·lō- בְּנֵֽי־ let the Israelites bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl שִׁלַּ֥ח go out šil·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃פ of his land . mê·’ar·ṣōw Exodus 12:1 יְהוָה֙ Now YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֣ה Moses mō·šeh וְאֶֽל־ . . . wə·’el- אַהֲרֹ֔ן and Aaron ’a·hă·rōn בְּאֶ֥רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim לֵאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Exodus 12:2 הַזֶּ֛ה “ This haz·zeh הַחֹ֧דֶשׁ month ha·ḥō·ḏeš רֹ֣אשׁ is the beginning rōš חֳדָשִׁ֑ים of months ḥo·ḏā·šîm לָכֶ֖ם for you ; lā·ḵem הוּא֙ it [shall be] hū רִאשׁ֥וֹן the first ri·šō·wn לְחָדְשֵׁ֖י month lə·ḥā·ḏə·šê לָכֶ֔ם of your lā·ḵem הַשָּׁנָֽה׃ year . haš·šā·nāh Exodus 12:3 דַּבְּר֗וּ Tell dab·bə·rū אֶֽל־ . . . ’el- כָּל־ the whole kāl- עֲדַ֤ת congregation ‘ă·ḏaṯ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr בֶּעָשֹׂ֖ר that on the tenth be·‘ā·śōr הַזֶּ֑ה day of this haz·zeh לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ month la·ḥō·ḏeš אִ֛ישׁ each man ’îš וְיִקְח֣וּ must select wə·yiq·ḥū לָהֶ֗ם lā·hem שֶׂ֥ה a lamb śeh אָבֹ֖ת for his family ’ā·ḇōṯ לְבֵית־ . . . , lə·ḇêṯ- שֶׂ֥ה one śeh לַבָּֽיִת׃ per household . lab·bā·yiṯ Exodus 12:4 וְאִם־ If wə·’im- הַבַּיִת֮ the household hab·ba·yiṯ מִהְיֹ֣ת . . . mih·yōṯ יִמְעַ֣ט is too small yim·‘aṭ מִשֶּׂה֒ for a whole lamb , miś·śeh ה֗וּא they are to hū וְלָקַ֣ח share with wə·lā·qaḥ הַקָּרֹ֥ב the nearest haq·qā·rōḇ
