בָּהֵ֖נָּה . . . . ” bā·hên·nāh Jeremiah 5:18 וְגַ֛ם “ Yet even wə·ḡam הָהֵ֖מָּה in those hā·hêm·māh בַּיָּמִ֥ים days , ” bay·yā·mîm נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהֹוָ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh לֹֽא־ “ I will not lō- אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה make ’e·‘ĕ·śeh כָּלָֽה׃ a full end kā·lāh אִתְּכֶ֖ם of you . ’it·tə·ḵem Jeremiah 5:19 וְהָיָה֙ And wə·hā·yāh כִּ֣י when kî תֹאמְר֔וּ the people ask , ṯō·mə·rū תַּ֣חַת ‘ For ta·ḥaṯ מֶ֗ה what meh יְהֹוָ֧ה offense has YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū לָ֖נוּ lā·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עָשָׂ֨ה done ‘ā·śāh כָּל־ all kāl- אֵ֑לֶּה these things to us ? ’ ’êl·leh וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ You are to tell wə·’ā·mar·tā אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם them , ’ă·lê·hem כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר ‘ Just as ka·’ă·šer עֲזַבְתֶּ֤ם you have forsaken ‘ă·zaḇ·tem אוֹתִי֙ Me ’ō·w·ṯî וַתַּעַבְד֞וּ and served wat·ta·‘aḇ·ḏū נֵכָר֙ foreign nê·ḵār אֱלֹהֵ֤י gods ’ĕ·lō·hê בְּאַרְצְכֶ֔ם in your land , bə·’ar·ṣə·ḵem כֵּ֚ן so kên תַּעַבְד֣וּ will you serve ta·‘aḇ·ḏū זָרִ֔ים foreigners zā·rîm בְּאֶ֖רֶץ in a land bə·’e·reṣ לֹ֥א that is not lō לָכֶֽם׃ס your own . ’” lā·ḵem Jeremiah 5:20 הַגִּ֥ידוּ Declare hag·gî·ḏū זֹ֖את this zōṯ בְּבֵ֣ית in the house bə·ḇêṯ יַעֲקֹ֑ב of Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ וְהַשְׁמִיע֥וּהָ and proclaim wə·haš·mî·‘ū·hā בִיהוּדָ֖ה it in Judah ḇî·hū·ḏāh לֵאמֹֽר׃ - : lê·mōr Jeremiah 5:21 שִׁמְעוּ־ “ Hear šim·‘ū- נָ֣א . . . nā זֹ֔את this , zōṯ סָכָ֖ל O foolish sā·ḵāl וְאֵ֣ין and senseless wə·’ên לֵ֑ב . . . lêḇ עַ֥ם people , ‘am עֵינַ֤יִם who have eyes ‘ê·na·yim לָהֶם֙ lā·hem וְלֹ֣א but do not wə·lō יִרְא֔וּ see , yir·’ū אָזְנַ֥יִם who have ears ’ā·zə·na·yim לָהֶ֖ם lā·hem וְלֹ֥א but do not wə·lō יִשְׁמָֽעוּ׃ hear . yiš·mā·‘ū Jeremiah 5:22 הַאוֹתִ֨י - ha·’ō·w·ṯî לֹא־ Do you not lō- תִירָ֜אוּ fear Me ? ” ṯî·rā·’ū נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהֹוָ֗ה YHWH . Yah·weh אִ֤ם “ ’im לֹ֣א Do you not lō תָחִ֔ילוּ tremble ṯā·ḥî·lū מִפָּנַי֙ before Me , mip·pā·nay אֲשֶׁר־ the One who ’ă·šer- שַׂ֤מְתִּי set śam·tî חוֹל֙ the sand ḥō·wl גְּב֣וּל as the boundary gə·ḇūl לַיָּ֔ם for the sea , lay·yām עוֹלָ֖ם an enduring ‘ō·w·lām חָק־ barrier ḥāq- וְלֹ֣א it cannot wə·lō יַעַבְרֶ֑נְהוּ cross ? ya·‘aḇ·ren·hū גַלָּ֖יו The waves ḡal·lāw וַיִּֽתְגָּעֲשׁוּ֙ surge , way·yiṯ·gā·‘ă·šū וְלֹ֣א but they cannot wə·lō יוּכָ֔לוּ prevail . yū·ḵā·lū וְהָמ֥וּ They roar wə·hā·mū וְלֹ֥א but cannot wə·lō יַעַבְרֻֽנְהוּ׃ cross it . ya·‘aḇ·run·hū
