תָּסִ֧יר you will remove tā·sîr שִׁקּוּצֶ֛יךָ your detestable idols šiq·qū·ṣe·ḵā מִפָּנַ֖י from My sight mip·pā·nay וְלֹ֥א and no longer wə·lō תָנֽוּד׃ waver , ṯā·nūḏ Jeremiah 4:2 וְנִשְׁבַּ֙עְתָּ֙ and if you can swear , wə·niš·ba‘·tā יְהוָ֔ה ‘ As surely as YHWH Yah·weh חַי־ lives , ’ ḥay- בֶּאֱמֶ֖ת in truth , be·’ĕ·meṯ בְּמִשְׁפָּ֣ט in justice , bə·miš·pāṭ וּבִצְדָקָ֑ה and in righteousness , ū·ḇiṣ·ḏā·qāh גּוֹיִ֖ם then the nations gō·w·yim וְהִתְבָּ֥רְכוּ will be blessed wə·hiṯ·bā·rə·ḵū וּב֥וֹ by Him , ū·ḇōw ב֛וֹ and in Him ḇōw יִתְהַלָּֽלוּ׃ס they will glory . ” yiṯ·hal·lā·lū Jeremiah 4:3 כִּי־ For kî- כֹ֣ה׀ this is what ḵōh יְהֹוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says ’ā·mar לְאִ֤ישׁ to the men lə·’îš יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְלִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם and Jerusalem : wə·lî·rū·šā·lim נִ֥ירוּ “ Break up nî·rū לָכֶ֖ם your lā·ḵem נִ֑יר unplowed ground , nîr וְאַֽל־ and do not wə·’al- תִּזְרְע֖וּ sow tiz·rə·‘ū אֶל־ among ’el- קוֹצִֽים׃ the thorns . qō·w·ṣîm Jeremiah 4:4 הִמֹּ֣לוּ Circumcise yourselves him·mō·lū לַיהֹוָ֗ה to YHWH , Yah·weh וְהָסִ֙רוּ֙ and remove wə·hā·si·rū עָרְל֣וֹת the foreskins ‘ā·rə·lō·wṯ לְבַבְכֶ֔ם of your hearts , lə·ḇaḇ·ḵem אִ֥ישׁ O men ’îš יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י and people wə·yō·šə·ḇê יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם of Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim פֶּן־ Otherwise , pen- חֲמָתִ֗י My wrath ḥă·mā·ṯî תֵּצֵ֨א will break out tê·ṣê כָאֵ֜שׁ like fire ḵā·’êš וּבָעֲרָה֙ and burn ū·ḇā·‘ă·rāh וְאֵ֣ין with no wə·’ên מְכַבֶּ֔ה one to extinguish it , mə·ḵab·beh מִפְּנֵ֖י because of mip·pə·nê רֹ֥עַ your evil rō·a‘ מַעַלְלֵיכֶֽם׃ deeds . ” ma·‘al·lê·ḵem Jeremiah 4:5 הַגִּ֣ידוּ Announce hag·gî·ḏū בִֽיהוּדָ֗ה in Judah , ḇî·hū·ḏāh הַשְׁמִ֔יעוּ proclaim haš·mî·‘ū וּבִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ in Jerusalem , ū·ḇî·rū·šā·lim וְאִמְר֕וּ and say : wə·’im·rū וְתִקְעוּ “ Blow wə·ṯiq·ʿū שׁוֹפָ֖ר the ram’s horn šō·w·p̄ār בָּאָ֑רֶץ throughout the land . bā·’ā·reṣ קִרְא֤וּ Cry aloud qir·’ū מַלְאוּ֙ . . . mal·’ū וְאִמְר֔וּ and say , wə·’im·rū הֵאָסְפ֥וּ ‘ Assemble yourselves hê·’ā·sə·p̄ū וְנָב֖וֹאָה and let us flee wə·nā·ḇō·w·’āh אֶל־ to ’el- הַמִּבְצָֽר׃ the fortified ham·miḇ·ṣār עָרֵ֥י cities . ’ ‘ā·rê Jeremiah 4:6 שְׂאוּ־ Raise śə·’ū- נֵ֣ס a signal flag nês צִיּ֔וֹנָה toward Zion . ṣî·yō·w·nāh הָעִ֖יזוּ Seek refuge ! hā·‘î·zū אַֽל־ Do not ’al- תַּעֲמֹ֑דוּ delay ! ta·‘ă·mō·ḏū כִּ֣י For kî אָנֹכִ֛י I ’ā·nō·ḵî מֵבִ֥יא am bringing mê·ḇî רָעָ֗ה disaster rā·‘āh מִצָּפ֖וֹן from the north , miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn גָּדֽוֹל׃ and terrible gā·ḏō·wl וְשֶׁ֥בֶר destruction . wə·še·ḇer Jeremiah 4:7 אַרְיֵה֙ A lion ’ar·yêh עָלָ֤ה has gone up ‘ā·lāh מִֽסֻּבְּכ֔וֹ from his thicket , mis·sub·bə·ḵōw וּמַשְׁחִ֣ית and a destroyer ū·maš·ḥîṯ
