יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel , ” yiś·rā·’êl נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 3:21 ק֚וֹל A voice qō·wl נִשְׁמָ֔ע is heard niš·mā‘ עַל־ on ‘al- שְׁפָיִ֣ים the barren heights , šə·p̄ā·yîm בְּנֵ֣י the children bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl בְּכִ֥י weeping bə·ḵî תַחֲנוּנֵ֖י and begging for mercy , ṯa·ḥă·nū·nê כִּ֤י because kî הֶעֱוּוּ֙ they have perverted he·‘ĕw·wū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דַּרְכָּ֔ם their ways dar·kām שָׁכְח֖וּ [and] forgotten šā·ḵə·ḥū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהֹוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ their God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem Jeremiah 3:22 שׁ֚וּבוּ “ Return , ū·ḇū שׁוֹבָבִ֔ים O faithless šō·w·ḇā·ḇîm בָּנִ֣ים children , bā·nîm אֶרְפָּ֖ה [and] I will heal ’er·pāh מְשׁוּבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם your faithlessness . ” mə·šū·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem הִנְנוּ֙ “ Here we are . hin·nū אָתָ֣נוּ We come ’ā·ṯā·nū לָ֔ךְ to You , lāḵ כִּ֥י for kî אַתָּ֖ה You ’at·tāh יְהֹוָ֥ה are YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ our God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū Jeremiah 3:23 אָכֵ֥ן Surely ’ā·ḵên לַשֶּׁ֛קֶר deception laš·še·qer מִגְּבָע֖וֹת [comes from] the hills , mig·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ הָמ֣וֹן [and] commotion hā·mō·wn הָרִ֑ים from the mountains . hā·rîm אָכֵן֙ Surely ’ā·ḵên תְּשׁוּעַ֖ת the salvation tə·šū·‘aṯ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl בַּיהֹוָ֣ה is in YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ our God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū Jeremiah 3:24 מִנְּעוּרֵ֑ינוּ From our youth , min·nə·‘ū·rê·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְהַבֹּ֗שֶׁת that shameful [god] wə·hab·bō·šeṯ אָֽכְלָ֛ה has consumed ’ā·ḵə·lāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲבוֹתֵ֖ינוּ what our fathers ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·nū יְגִ֥יעַ have worked for — yə·ḡî·a‘ צֹאנָם֙ their flocks ṣō·nām וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- בְּקָרָ֔ם and herds , bə·qā·rām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנֵיהֶ֖ם their sons bə·nê·hem וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- בְּנוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ and daughters . bə·nō·w·ṯê·hem Jeremiah 3:25 נִשְׁכְּבָ֣ה Let us lie down niš·kə·ḇāh בְּבָשְׁתֵּ֗נוּ in our shame ; bə·ḇā·šə·tê·nū כְּלִמָּתֵנוּ֒ let our disgrace kə·lim·mā·ṯê·nū כִּי֩ . . . kî וּֽתְכַסֵּנוּ֮ cover us . ū·ṯə·ḵas·sê·nū חָטָ֗אנוּ We have sinned ḥā·ṭā·nū לַיהוָ֨ה against YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֜ינוּ our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū אֲנַ֙חְנוּ֙ both we ’ă·naḥ·nū וַאֲבוֹתֵ֔ינוּ and our fathers ; wa·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·nū מִנְּעוּרֵ֖ינוּ from our youth min·nə·‘ū·rê·nū וְעַד־ even to wə·‘aḏ- הַזֶּ֑ה this haz·zeh הַיּ֣וֹם day hay·yō·wm וְלֹ֣א we have not wə·lō שָׁמַ֔עְנוּ obeyed šā·ma‘·nū בְּק֖וֹל the voice bə·qō·wl יְהֹוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ס our God .” ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū Jeremiah 4:1 אִם־ “ If ’im- תָּשׁ֨וּב you will return , tā·šūḇ יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל׀ O Israel , yiś·rā·’êl תָּשׁ֑וּב return tā·šūḇ אֵלַ֖י to Me , ” ’ê·lay נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֛ה YHWH .
