שִׁמְעוּ֙ hear šim·‘ū דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH : Yah·weh אֲחֵיכֶ֨ם “ Your brothers ’ă·ḥê·ḵem שֹׂנְאֵיכֶ֜ם who hate you śō·nə·’ê·ḵem מְנַדֵּיכֶ֗ם and exclude you mə·nad·dê·ḵem לְמַ֤עַן because of lə·ma·‘an שְׁמִי֙ My name šə·mî אָמְרוּ֩ have said , ’ā·mə·rū יְהוָ֔ה ‘ Let YHWH Yah·weh יִכְבַּ֣ד be glorified yiḵ·baḏ וְנִרְאֶ֥ה that we may see wə·nir·’eh בְשִׂמְחַתְכֶ֖ם your joy ! ’ ḇə·śim·ḥaṯ·ḵem וְהֵ֥ם But they wə·hêm יֵבֹֽשׁוּ׃ will be put to shame . ” yê·ḇō·šū Isaiah 66:6 ק֤וֹל Hear qō·wl שָׁאוֹן֙ the uproar šā·’ō·wn מֵעִ֔יר from the city ; mê·‘îr ק֖וֹל [listen to] the voice qō·wl מֵֽהֵיכָ֑ל from the temple ! mê·hê·ḵāl ק֣וֹל [It is] the voice qō·wl יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh מְשַׁלֵּ֥ם repaying mə·šal·lêm לְאֹיְבָֽיו׃ His enemies lə·’ō·yə·ḇāw גְּמ֖וּל what they deserve ! gə·mūl Isaiah 66:7 בְּטֶ֥רֶם “ Before bə·ṭe·rem תָּחִ֖יל she was in labor , tā·ḥîl יָלָ֑דָה she gave birth ; yā·lā·ḏāh בְּטֶ֨רֶם before bə·ṭe·rem יָב֥וֹא . . . yā·ḇō·w חֵ֛בֶל she was in pain ḥê·ḇel לָ֖הּ , lāh וְהִמְלִ֥יטָה she delivered wə·him·lî·ṭāh זָכָֽר׃ a boy . zā·ḵār Isaiah 66:8 מִֽי־ Who mî- שָׁמַ֣ע has heard šā·ma‘ כָּזֹ֗את of such as this ? kā·zōṯ מִ֤י Who mî רָאָה֙ has seen rā·’āh כָּאֵ֔לֶּה such things ? kā·’êl·leh אֶ֙רֶץ֙ Can a country ’e·reṣ הֲי֤וּחַל be born hă·yū·ḥal אֶחָ֔ד in a ’e·ḥāḏ בְּי֣וֹם day bə·yō·wm אִם־ or ’im- גּ֖וֹי a nation gō·w יִוָּ֥לֵֽד be delivered yiw·wā·lêḏ פַּ֣עַם in an instant pa·‘am אֶחָ֑ת . . . ? ’e·ḥāṯ כִּֽי־ Yet kî- צִיּ֖וֹן as soon as Zion ṣî·yō·wn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חָ֛לָה was in labor , ḥā·lāh גַּם־ . . . gam- יָלְדָ֥ה she gave birth to yā·lə·ḏāh בָּנֶֽיהָ׃ her children . bā·ne·hā Isaiah 66:9 הַאֲנִ֥י Shall I ha·’ă·nî אַשְׁבִּ֛יר bring a baby to the point of birth ’aš·bîr וְלֹ֥א and not wə·lō אוֹלִ֖יד deliver it ? ” ’ō·w·lîḏ יֹאמַ֣ר says yō·mar יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh אִם־ “ Or ’im- אֲנִ֧י will I ’ă·nî הַמּוֹלִ֛יד who deliver ham·mō·w·lîḏ וְעָצַ֖רְתִּי close the womb ? ” wə·‘ā·ṣar·tî אָמַ֥ר says ’ā·mar אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃ס your God . ’ĕ·lō·hā·yiḵ Isaiah 66:10 שִׂמְח֧וּ Be glad śim·ḥū אֶת־ for ’eṯ- יְרוּשָׁלִַ֛ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim וְגִ֥ילוּ and rejoice wə·ḡî·lū בָ֖הּ over her , ḇāh כָּל־ all kāl- אֹהֲבֶ֑יהָ who love her . ’ō·hă·ḇe·hā שִׂ֤ישׂוּ Rejoice greatly śî·śū מָשׂ֔וֹשׂ . . . mā·śō·wś אִתָּהּ֙ with her , ’it·tāh כָּל־ all kāl- הַמִּֽתְאַבְּלִ֖ים who mourn ham·miṯ·’ab·bə·lîm עָלֶֽיהָ׃ over her , ‘ā·le·hā Isaiah 66:11 לְמַ֤עַן so that lə·ma·‘an
