Isaiah 65:3 הָעָ֗ם to a people hā·‘ām תָּמִ֑יד who continually tā·mîḏ הַמַּכְעִיסִ֥ים provoke Me ham·maḵ·‘î·sîm אוֹתִ֛י - ’ō·w·ṯî עַל־ to ‘al- פָּנַ֖י My face , pā·nay זֹֽבְחִים֙ sacrificing zō·ḇə·ḥîm בַּגַּנּ֔וֹת in the gardens bag·gan·nō·wṯ וּֽמְקַטְּרִ֖ים and burning incense ū·mə·qaṭ·ṭə·rîm עַל־ on ‘al- הַלְּבֵנִֽים׃ altars of brick , hal·lə·ḇê·nîm Isaiah 65:4 הַיֹּֽשְׁבִים֙ sitting hay·yō·šə·ḇîm בַּקְּבָרִ֔ים among the graves , baq·qə·ḇā·rîm יָלִ֑ינוּ spending nights yā·lî·nū וּבַנְּצוּרִ֖ים in secret places , ū·ḇan·nə·ṣū·rîm הָאֹֽכְלִים֙ eating hā·’ō·ḵə·lîm בְּשַׂ֣ר the meat bə·śar הַחֲזִ֔יר of pigs ha·ḥă·zîr וּפְרַק . . . ū·p̄ə·raq פִּגֻּלִ֖ים and polluted broth pig·gu·lîm כְּלֵיהֶֽם׃ from their bowls . kə·lê·hem Isaiah 65:5 הָאֹֽמְרִים֙ They say , hā·’ō·mə·rîm קְרַ֣ב ‘ Keep qə·raḇ אֵלֶ֔יךָ to yourself ; ’ê·le·ḵā אַל־ do not ’al- תִּגַּשׁ־ come near tig·gaš- בִּ֖י me , bî כִּ֣י for kî קְדַשְׁתִּ֑יךָ I am holier than you ! ’ qə·ḏaš·tî·ḵā אֵ֚לֶּה Such people ’êl·leh עָשָׁ֣ן are smoke ‘ā·šān בְּאַפִּ֔י in My nostrils , bə·’ap·pî אֵ֥שׁ a fire ’êš יֹקֶ֖דֶת that burns yō·qe·ḏeṯ כָּל־ all day long kāl- הַיּֽוֹם׃ . . . . hay·yō·wm Isaiah 65:6 הִנֵּ֥ה Behold , hin·nêh כְתוּבָ֖ה it is written ḵə·ṯū·ḇāh לְפָנָ֑י before Me : lə·p̄ā·nāy לֹ֤א I will not lō אֶחֱשֶׂה֙ keep silent , ’e·ḥĕ·śeh כִּ֣י but kî אִם־ . . . ’im- שִׁלַּ֔מְתִּי I will repay ; šil·lam·tî וְשִׁלַּמְתִּ֖י I will pay it back wə·šil·lam·tî עַל־ into ‘al- חֵיקָֽם׃ their laps , ḥê·qām Isaiah 65:7 יַחְדָּו֙ both yaḥ·dāw עֲ֠וֺנֹתֵיכֶם for your iniquities ‘ă·wō·nō·ṯê·ḵem וַעֲוֺנֹ֨ת and [for those] wa·‘ă·wō·nōṯ אֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֤ם of your fathers , ” ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem אָמַ֣ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָ֔ה YHWH . Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֤ר “ Because ’ă·šer קִטְּרוּ֙ they burned incense qiṭ·ṭə·rū עַל־ on ‘al- הֶ֣הָרִ֔ים the mountains he·hā·rîm חֵרְפ֑וּנִי and scorned Me ḥê·rə·p̄ū·nî וְעַל־ on wə·‘al- הַגְּבָע֖וֹת the hills , hag·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ וּמַדֹּתִ֧י I will measure ū·mad·dō·ṯî חֵיקָֽם׃ס into their laps ḥê·qām רִֽאשֹׁנָ֖ה full payment for their former ri·šō·nāh עַל . . . ʿal פְעֻלָּתָ֛ם deeds . ” p̄ə·‘ul·lā·ṯām Isaiah 65:8 כֹּ֣ה׀ This is what kōh יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר “ As ka·’ă·šer הַתִּירוֹשׁ֙ the new wine hat·tî·rō·wōš יִמָּצֵ֤א is found yim·mā·ṣê בָּֽאֶשְׁכּ֔וֹל in a cluster of grapes , bā·’eš·kō·wl וְאָמַר֙ and men say , wə·’ā·mar אַל־ ‘ Do not ’al- תַּשְׁחִיתֵ֔הוּ destroy it , taš·ḥî·ṯê·hū כִּ֥י for kî בּ֑וֹ it contains bōw בְרָכָ֖ה a blessing , ’ ḇə·rā·ḵāh כֵּ֤ן so kên אֶֽעֱשֶׂה֙ I will act ’e·‘ĕ·śeh לְמַ֣עַן on behalf lə·ma·‘an עֲבָדַ֔י of My servants ; ‘ă·ḇā·ḏay לְבִלְתִּ֖י I will not lə·ḇil·tî הַֽשְׁחִ֥ית destroy them haš·ḥîṯ הַכֹּֽל׃ all . hak·kōl
