וְאַל־do notwə·’al-
תִּזְכֹּ֣רremembertiz·kōr
עָוֺ֑ןour iniquity‘ā·wōn
לָעַ֖דforever .lā·‘aḏ
הֵ֥ן Oh , hên
הַבֶּט־ look upon us , hab·beṭ-
נָ֖אwe pray ;
כֻלָּֽנוּ׃we are allḵul·lā·nū
עַמְּךָ֥Your people !‘am·mə·ḵā

אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּour fathers’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū
הִֽלְל֙וּךָ֙ praised You , hil·lū·ḵā
הָיָ֖הhas beenhā·yāh
לִשְׂרֵ֣פַתburnedliś·rê·p̄aṯ
אֵ֑שׁ with fire , ’êš
וְכָל־and allwə·ḵāl
מַחֲמַדֵּ֖ינוּthat was dear to usma·ḥă·mad·dê·nū
הָיָ֥הlieshā·yāh
לְחָרְבָּֽה׃in ruins .lə·ḥā·rə·bāh

אֵ֥לֶּה all this , ’êl·leh
יְהוָ֑ה O YHWH , Yah·weh
תִתְאַפַּ֖קwill You restrain Yourself ?ṯiṯ·’ap·paq
תֶּחֱשֶׁ֥הWill You keep silentte·ḥĕ·šeh
וּתְעַנֵּ֖נוּand afflict usū·ṯə·‘an·nê·nū
עַד־beyond‘aḏ-
מְאֹֽד׃סmeasure ?mə·’ōḏ

קֹרָ֥אcallqō·rā
בִשְׁמִֽי׃ My name , ḇiš·mî
אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ I said , ’ā·mar·tî
הִנֵּ֣נִי‘ Here I am !hin·nê·nî
הִנֵּ֔נִיHere I am ! ’hin·nê·nî

מַחְשְׁבֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ their own imaginations , maḥ·šə·ḇō·ṯê·hem
