בַּחֹ֙שֶׁךְ֙ in the darkness , ba·ḥō·šeḵ וַאֲפֵלָתְךָ֖ and your night wa·’ă·p̄ê·lā·ṯə·ḵā כַּֽצָּהֳרָֽיִם׃ will be like noonday . kaṣ·ṣā·ho·rā·yim Isaiah 58:11 יְהוָה֮ YHWH Yah·weh תָּמִיד֒ will always tā·mîḏ וְנָחֲךָ֣ guide you ; wə·nā·ḥă·ḵā וְהִשְׂבִּ֤יעַ He will satisfy wə·hiś·bî·a‘ נַפְשֶׁ֔ךָ you nap̄·še·ḵā בְּצַחְצָחוֹת֙ in a sun-scorched land bə·ṣaḥ·ṣā·ḥō·wṯ יַחֲלִ֑יץ and strengthen ya·ḥă·lîṣ וְעַצְמֹתֶ֖יךָ your frame . wə·‘aṣ·mō·ṯe·ḵā וְהָיִ֙יתָ֙ You will be wə·hā·yî·ṯā רָוֶ֔ה like a well-watered rā·weh כְּגַ֣ן garden , kə·ḡan וּכְמוֹצָ֣א like a spring ū·ḵə·mō·w·ṣā מַ֔יִם . . . ma·yim אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer מֵימָֽיו׃ whose waters mê·māw לֹא־ never lō- יְכַזְּב֖וּ fail . yə·ḵaz·zə·ḇū Isaiah 58:12 מִמְּךָ֙ Your people mim·mə·ḵā וּבָנ֤וּ will rebuild ū·ḇā·nū עוֹלָ֔ם the ancient ‘ō·w·lām מוֹסְדֵ֥י . . . mō·ws·ḏê חָרְב֣וֹת ruins ; ḥā·rə·ḇō·wṯ תְּקוֹמֵ֑ם you will restore tə·qō·w·mêm דוֹר־ the age-old ḏō·wr- וָד֖וֹר foundations ; wā·ḏō·wr וְקֹרָ֤א you will be called wə·qō·rā לְךָ֙ lə·ḵā גֹּדֵ֣ר Repairer gō·ḏêr פֶּ֔רֶץ of the Breach , pe·reṣ מְשֹׁבֵ֥ב Restorer mə·šō·ḇêḇ נְתִיב֖וֹת of the Streets nə·ṯî·ḇō·wṯ לָשָֽׁבֶת׃ of Dwelling . lā·šā·ḇeṯ Isaiah 58:13 אִם־ If ’im- תָּשִׁ֤יב you turn tā·šîḇ רַגְלֶ֔ךָ your foot raḡ·le·ḵā מִשַּׁבָּת֙ from [breaking] the Sabbath , miš·šab·bāṯ עֲשׂ֥וֹת from doing ‘ă·śō·wṯ חֲפָצֶ֖יךָ as you please ḥă·p̄ā·ṣe·ḵā קָדְשִׁ֑י on My holy qāḏ·šî בְּי֣וֹם day , bə·yō·wm וְקָרָ֨אתָ if you call wə·qā·rā·ṯā לַשַּׁבָּ֜ת the Sabbath laš·šab·bāṯ עֹ֗נֶג a delight , ‘ō·neḡ יְהוָה֙ and YHWH’s Yah·weh לִקְד֤וֹשׁ holy [day] liq·ḏō·wōš מְכֻבָּ֔ד honorable , mə·ḵub·bāḏ וְכִבַּדְתּוֹ֙ if you honor it wə·ḵib·baḏ·tōw מֵעֲשׂ֣וֹת by not going mê·‘ă·śō·wṯ דְּרָכֶ֔יךָ your own way də·rā·ḵe·ḵā מִמְּצ֥וֹא or seeking mim·mə·ṣō·w חֶפְצְךָ֖ your own pleasure ḥep̄·ṣə·ḵā וְדַבֵּ֥ר or speaking wə·ḏab·bêr דָּבָֽר׃ idle words , dā·ḇār Isaiah 58:14 אָ֗ז then ’āz תִּתְעַנַּג֙ you will delight tiṯ·‘an·naḡ עַל־ yourself in ‘al- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh וְהִרְכַּבְתִּ֖יךָ and I will make you ride wə·hir·kaḇ·tî·ḵā עַל־ on ‘al- בָּ֣מֳותֵי the heights bå̄·mo·w·ṯē אָ֑רֶץ of the land ’ā·reṣ וְהַאֲכַלְתִּ֗יךָ and feed you wə·ha·’ă·ḵal·tî·ḵā נַחֲלַת֙ with the heritage na·ḥă·laṯ אָבִ֔יךָ of your father ’ā·ḇî·ḵā יַעֲקֹ֣ב Jacob . ” ya·‘ă·qōḇ כִּ֛י For kî פִּ֥י the mouth pî יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֵּֽר׃ס has spoken . dib·bêr Isaiah 59:1 הֵ֛ן Surely hên יַד־ the arm yaḏ- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh לֹֽא־ is not lō- קָצְרָ֥ה too short qā·ṣə·rāh מֵֽהוֹשִׁ֑יעַ to save , mê·hō·wō·šî·a‘ אָזְנ֖וֹ nor His ear ’ā·zə·nōw וְלֹא־ . . . wə·lō- כָבְדָ֥ה too dull ḵā·ḇə·ḏāh מִשְּׁמֽוֹעַ׃ to hear . miš·šə·mō·w·a‘
