עָלִ֖ית you went up ‘ā·lîṯ לִזְבֹּ֥חַ to offer liz·bō·aḥ זָֽבַח׃ sacrifices . zā·ḇaḥ Isaiah 57:8 וְאַחַ֤ר Behind wə·’a·ḥar הַדֶּ֙לֶת֙ the door had·de·leṯ וְהַמְּזוּזָ֔ה and doorpost wə·ham·mə·zū·zāh שַׂ֖מְתְּ you have set up śamt זִכְרוֹנֵ֑ךְ your memorial . ziḵ·rō·w·nêḵ כִּ֣י Forsaking Me kî מֵאִתִּ֞י . . . , mê·’it·tî גִּלִּ֣ית you uncovered gil·lîṯ מִשְׁכָּבֵךְ֙ your bed ; miš·kā·ḇêḵ וַֽתַּעֲלִ֗י you climbed up wat·ta·‘ă·lî הִרְחַ֤בְתְּ and opened it wide . hir·ḥaḇt וַתִּכְרָת־ And you have made a pact wat·tiḵ·rāṯ- לָ֣ךְ with those lāḵ מִשְׁכָּבָ֖ם whose bed miš·kā·ḇām מֵהֶ֔ם mê·hem אָהַ֥בְתְּ you have loved ; ’ā·haḇt חָזִֽית׃ you have gazed ḥā·zîṯ יָ֥ד upon their nakedness . yāḏ Isaiah 57:9 וַתָּשֻׁ֤רִי You went wat·tā·šu·rî לַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ to [Molech] lam·me·leḵ בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן with oil baš·še·men וַתַּרְבִּ֖י and multiplied wat·tar·bî רִקֻּחָ֑יִךְ your perfumes . riq·qu·ḥā·yiḵ וַתְּשַׁלְּחִ֤י You have sent wat·tə·šal·lə·ḥî צִרַ֙יִךְ֙ your envoys ṣi·rayḵ מֵ֣רָחֹ֔ק a great distance ; mê·rā·ḥōq וַתַּשְׁפִּ֖ילִי you have descended wat·taš·pî·lî עַד־ . . . ‘aḏ- עַד־ even to ‘aḏ- שְׁאֽוֹל׃ Sheol itself . šə·’ō·wl Isaiah 57:10 יָגַ֔עַתְּ You are wearied yā·ḡa·‘at בְּרֹ֤ב by your many bə·rōḇ דַּרְכֵּךְ֙ journeys , dar·kêḵ לֹ֥א but you did not lō אָמַ֖רְתְּ say , ’ā·mart נוֹאָ֑שׁ “ There is no hope ! ” nō·w·’āš מָצָ֔את You found mā·ṣāṯ חַיַּ֤ת renewal ḥay·yaṯ יָדֵךְ֙ of your strength ; yā·ḏêḵ עַל־ therefore ‘al- כֵּ֖ן . . . kên לֹ֥א you did not lō חָלִֽית׃ grow weak . ḥā·lîṯ Isaiah 57:11 וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- מִ֞י Whom mî דָּאַ֤גְתְּ have you dreaded dā·’aḡt וַתִּֽירְאִי֙ and feared , wat·tî·rə·’î כִּ֣י so that kî תְכַזֵּ֔בִי you lied ṯə·ḵaz·zê·ḇî וְאוֹתִי֙ and wə·’ō·w·ṯî לֹ֣א failed lō זָכַ֔רְתְּ to remember Me zā·ḵart לֹא־ [or] lō- שַׂ֖מְתְּ take this śamt עַל־ to ‘al- לִבֵּ֑ךְ heart ? lib·bêḵ הֲלֹ֨א Is it not hă·lō אֲנִ֤י [because] I {have} ’ă·nî וּמֵ֣עֹלָ֔ם long ū·mê·‘ō·lām מַחְשֶׁה֙ been silent maḥ·šeh וְאוֹתִ֖י that wə·’ō·w·ṯî לֹ֥א you do not lō תִירָֽאִי׃ fear Me ? ṯî·rā·’î Isaiah 57:12 אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî אַגִּ֖יד will expose ’ag·gîḏ צִדְקָתֵ֑ךְ your righteousness ṣiḏ·qā·ṯêḵ וְאֶֽת־ - wə·’eṯ- מַעֲשַׂ֖יִךְ and your works , ma·‘ă·śa·yiḵ וְלֹ֥א and they will not wə·lō יוֹעִילֽוּךְ׃ profit you . yō·w·‘î·lūḵ Isaiah 57:13 בְּזַֽעֲקֵךְ֙ When you cry out , bə·za·‘ă·qêḵ קִבּוּצַ֔יִךְ let your companies [of idols] qib·bū·ṣa·yiḵ יַצִּילֻ֣ךְ deliver you ! yaṣ·ṣî·luḵ וְאֶת־ Yet wə·’eṯ- ר֖וּחַ the wind rū·aḥ יִשָּׂא־ will carry off yiś·śā- כֻּלָּ֥ם all of them , kul·lām הָ֑בֶל a breath hā·ḇel יִקַּח־ will take them away . yiq·qaḥ-
