Isaiah 56:2 אַשְׁרֵ֤י Blessed ’aš·rê אֱנוֹשׁ֙ is the man ’ĕ·nō·wōš יַעֲשֶׂה־ who does ya·‘ă·śeh- זֹּ֔את this , zōṯ וּבֶן־ and the son ū·ḇen- אָדָ֖ם of man ’ā·ḏām יַחֲזִ֣יק who holds it fast ya·ḥă·zîq בָּ֑הּ , bāh שֹׁמֵ֤ר who keeps šō·mêr שַׁבָּת֙ the Sabbath šab·bāṯ מֵֽחַלְּל֔וֹ without profaning it mê·ḥal·lə·lōw וְשֹׁמֵ֥ר and keeps wə·šō·mêr יָד֖וֹ his hand yā·ḏōw מֵעֲשׂ֥וֹת from doing mê·‘ă·śō·wṯ כָּל־ any kāl- רָֽע׃ס evil . ” rā‘ Isaiah 56:3 וְאַל־ Let no wə·’al- בֶּן־ foreigner ben- הַנֵּכָ֗ר . . . han·nê·ḵār הַנִּלְוָ֤ה who has joined himself han·nil·wāh אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh יֹאמַ֣ר say , yō·mar לֵאמֹ֔ר lê·mōr יְהוָ֖ה “ YHWH Yah·weh הַבְדֵּ֧ל will utterly exclude me haḇ·dêl יַבְדִּילַ֛נִי . . . yaḇ·dî·la·nî מֵעַ֣ל from mê·‘al עַמּ֑וֹ His people . ” ‘am·mōw הַסָּרִ֔יס And let the eunuch has·sā·rîs וְאַל־ not wə·’al- יֹאמַר֙ say , yō·mar אֲנִ֖י “ I ’ă·nî הֵ֥ן am but hên יָבֵֽשׁ׃ס a dry yā·ḇêš עֵ֥ץ tree . ” ‘êṣ Isaiah 56:4 כִּי־ For kî- כֹ֣ה׀ this is what ḵōh יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar לַסָּֽרִיסִים֙ “ To the eunuchs las·sā·rî·sîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer יִשְׁמְרוּ֙ keep yiš·mə·rū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שַׁבְּתוֹתַ֔י My Sabbaths , šab·bə·ṯō·w·ṯay וּבָֽחֲר֖וּ who choose ū·ḇā·ḥă·rū בַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר what ba·’ă·šer חָפָ֑צְתִּי pleases Me ḥā·p̄ā·ṣə·tî וּמַחֲזִיקִ֖ים and hold fast ū·ma·ḥă·zî·qîm בִּבְרִיתִֽי׃ to My covenant — biḇ·rî·ṯî Isaiah 56:5 וְנָתַתִּ֨י I will give wə·nā·ṯat·tî לָהֶ֜ם them , lā·hem בְּבֵיתִ֤י in My house bə·ḇê·ṯî וּבְחֽוֹמֹתַי֙ and within My walls , ū·ḇə·ḥō·w·mō·ṯay יָ֣ד a memorial yāḏ וָשֵׁ֔ם and a name wā·šêm ט֖וֹב better than ṭō·wḇ מִבָּנִ֣ים that of sons mib·bā·nîm וּמִבָּנ֑וֹת and daughters . ū·mib·bā·nō·wṯ אֶתֶּן־ I will give ’et·ten- ל֔וֹ them lōw עוֹלָם֙ an everlasting ‘ō·w·lām שֵׁ֤ם name šêm אֲשֶׁ֖ר that ’ă·šer לֹ֥א will not lō יִכָּרֵֽת׃ס be cut off . yik·kā·rêṯ Isaiah 56:6 וּבְנֵ֣י And the foreigners ū·ḇə·nê הַנֵּכָ֗ר . . . han·nê·ḵār הַנִּלְוִ֤ים who join han·nil·wîm עַל־ themselves to ‘al- יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh לְשָׁ֣רְת֔וֹ to minister to Him , lə·šā·rə·ṯōw וּֽלְאַהֲבָה֙ to love ū·lə·’a·hă·ḇāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שֵׁ֣ם the name šêm יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh לִהְי֥וֹת and to be lih·yō·wṯ ל֖וֹ His lōw לַעֲבָדִ֑ים servants — la·‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm כָּל־ all kāl- שֹׁמֵ֤ר who keep šō·mêr שַׁבָּת֙ the Sabbath šab·bāṯ מֵֽחַלְּל֔וֹ without profaning it mê·ḥal·lə·lōw וּמַחֲזִיקִ֖ים and who hold fast ū·ma·ḥă·zî·qîm בִּבְרִיתִֽי׃ to My covenant — biḇ·rî·ṯî
