Isaiah 55:10 כִּ֡י For kî כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר just as ka·’ă·šer הַגֶּ֨שֶׁם rain hag·ge·šem וְהַשֶּׁ֜לֶג and snow wə·haš·še·leḡ יֵרֵד֩ fall yê·rêḏ מִן־ from min- הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם heaven haš·šā·ma·yim לֹ֣א and do not lō יָשׁ֔וּב return yā·šūḇ וְשָׁ֙מָּה֙ - wə·šām·māh כִּ֚י without kî אִם־ . . . ’im- הִרְוָ֣ה watering hir·wāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָ֔רֶץ the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ וְהוֹלִידָ֖הּ making it bud wə·hō·w·lî·ḏāh וְהִצְמִיחָ֑הּ and sprout , wə·hiṣ·mî·ḥāh וְנָ֤תַן and providing wə·nā·ṯan זֶ֙רַע֙ seed ze·ra‘ לַזֹּרֵ֔עַ to sow laz·zō·rê·a‘ וְלֶ֖חֶם and food wə·le·ḥem לָאֹכֵֽל׃ to eat , lā·’ō·ḵêl Isaiah 55:11 כֵּ֣ן so kên יִֽהְיֶ֤ה . . . yih·yeh דְבָרִי֙ My word ḏə·ḇā·rî אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer יֵצֵ֣א proceeds yê·ṣê מִפִּ֔י from My mouth mip·pî לֹֽא־ will not lō- יָשׁ֥וּב return yā·šūḇ אֵלַ֖י to Me ’ê·lay רֵיקָ֑ם empty , rê·qām כִּ֤י but kî אִם־ . . . ’im- עָשָׂה֙ it will accomplish ‘ā·śāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲשֶׁ֣ר what ’ă·šer חָפַ֔צְתִּי I please , ḥā·p̄aṣ·tî וְהִצְלִ֖יחַ and it will prosper wə·hiṣ·lî·aḥ אֲשֶׁ֥ר where ’ă·šer שְׁלַחְתִּֽיו׃ I send it . šə·laḥ·tîw Isaiah 55:12 כִּֽי־ You will indeed kî- תֵצֵ֔אוּ go out ṯê·ṣê·’ū בְשִׂמְחָ֣ה with joy ḇə·śim·ḥāh תּֽוּבָל֑וּן and be led forth tū·ḇā·lūn וּבְשָׁל֖וֹם in peace ; ū·ḇə·šā·lō·wm הֶהָרִ֣ים the mountains he·hā·rîm וְהַגְּבָע֗וֹת and hills wə·hag·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ יִפְצְח֤וּ will burst yip̄·ṣə·ḥū רִנָּ֔ה into song rin·nāh לִפְנֵיכֶם֙ before you , lip̄·nê·ḵem וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl עֲצֵ֥י the trees ‘ă·ṣê הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה of the field haś·śā·ḏeh יִמְחֲאוּ־ will clap yim·ḥă·’ū- כָֽף׃ their hands . ḵāp̄ Isaiah 55:13 תַּ֤חַת Instead of ta·ḥaṯ הַֽנַּעֲצוּץ֙ the thornbush , han·na·‘ă·ṣūṣ בְר֔וֹשׁ a cypress ḇə·rō·wōš יַעֲלֶ֣ה will grow , ya·‘ă·leh תַּחַת and instead of ta·ḥaṯ הַסִּרְפַּ֖ד the brier , has·sir·paḏ הֲדַ֑ס a myrtle hă·ḏas יַעֲלֶ֣ה will spring up ; ya·‘ă·leh וְהָיָ֤ה they will make wə·hā·yāh לְשֵׁ֔ם a name lə·šêm לַֽיהוָה֙ for YHWH , Yah·weh עוֹלָ֖ם an everlasting ‘ō·w·lām לְא֥וֹת sign , lə·’ō·wṯ לֹ֥א never lō יִכָּרֵֽת׃ס to be destroyed . ” yik·kā·rêṯ Isaiah 56:1 כֹּ֚ה This is what kōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar שִׁמְר֥וּ “ Maintain šim·rū מִשְׁפָּ֖ט justice miš·pāṭ וַעֲשׂ֣וּ and do wa·‘ă·śū צְדָקָ֑ה what is right , ṣə·ḏā·qāh כִּֽי־ for kî- יְשֽׁוּעָתִי֙ My salvation yə·šū·‘ā·ṯî לָב֔וֹא is coming lā·ḇō·w קְרוֹבָ֤ה soon , qə·rō·w·ḇāh וְצִדְקָתִ֖י and My righteousness wə·ṣiḏ·qā·ṯî לְהִגָּלֽוֹת׃ will be revealed . lə·hig·gā·lō·wṯ
