Isaiah 55:3 הַטּ֤וּ Incline haṭ·ṭū אָזְנְכֶם֙ your ear ’ā·zə·nə·ḵem וּלְכ֣וּ and come ū·lə·ḵū אֵלַ֔י to Me ; ’ê·lay שִׁמְע֖וּ listen , šim·‘ū נַפְשְׁכֶ֑ם so that your soul nap̄·šə·ḵem וּתְחִ֣י may live . ū·ṯə·ḥî וְאֶכְרְתָ֤ה I will make wə·’eḵ·rə·ṯāh לָכֶם֙ with you lā·ḵem עוֹלָ֔ם an everlasting ‘ō·w·lām בְּרִ֣ית covenant — bə·rîṯ חַֽסְדֵ֥י My loving devotion ḥas·ḏê הַנֶּאֱמָנִֽים׃ promised han·ne·’ĕ·mā·nîm דָוִ֖ד to David . ḏā·wiḏ Isaiah 55:4 הֵ֛ן Behold , hên נְתַתִּ֑יו I have made him nə·ṯat·tîw עֵ֥ד a witness ‘êḏ לְאוּמִּ֖ים to the nations , lə·’ūm·mîm נָגִ֥יד a leader nā·ḡîḏ וּמְצַוֵּ֖ה and commander ū·mə·ṣaw·wêh לְאֻמִּֽים׃ of the peoples . lə·’um·mîm Isaiah 55:5 הֵ֣ן Surely hên תִּקְרָ֔א you will summon tiq·rā גּ֤וֹי a nation gō·w לֹֽא־ you do not lō- תֵדַע֙ know , ṯê·ḏa‘ וְג֥וֹי and nations wə·ḡō·w לֹֽא־ who do not lō- יְדָע֖וּךָ know you yə·ḏā·‘ū·ḵā יָר֑וּצוּ will run yā·rū·ṣū לְמַ֙עַן֙ . . . lə·ma·‘an אֵלֶ֣יךָ to you . ’ê·le·ḵā כִּ֥י For kî יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā וְלִקְד֥וֹשׁ the Holy wə·liq·ḏō·wōš יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל One of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl פֵאֲרָֽךְ׃ס has bestowed glory on you . ” p̄ê·’ă·rāḵ Isaiah 55:6 דִּרְשׁ֥וּ Seek dir·šū יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh בְּהִמָּצְא֑וֹ while He may be found ; bə·him·mā·ṣə·’ōw קְרָאֻ֖הוּ call on Him qə·rā·’u·hū בִּֽהְיוֹת֥וֹ while He is bih·yō·w·ṯōw קָרֽוֹב׃ near . qā·rō·wḇ Isaiah 55:7 רָשָׁע֙ Let the wicked man rā·šā‘ יַעֲזֹ֤ב forsake ya·‘ă·zōḇ דַּרְכּ֔וֹ his own way dar·kōw אָ֖וֶן and the unrighteous ’ā·wen וְאִ֥ישׁ man wə·’îš מַחְשְׁבֹתָ֑יו his own thoughts ; maḥ·šə·ḇō·ṯāw וְיָשֹׁ֤ב let him return wə·yā·šōḇ אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh וִֽירַחֲמֵ֔הוּ that He may have compassion , wî·ra·ḥă·mê·hū וְאֶל־ and to wə·’el- אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū כִּֽי־ for kî- יַרְבֶּ֥ה He will freely yar·beh לִסְלֽוֹחַ׃ pardon . lis·lō·w·aḥ Isaiah 55:8 כִּ֣י “ For kî מַחְשְׁבוֹתַי֙ My thoughts maḥ·šə·ḇō·w·ṯay לֹ֤א are not lō מַחְשְׁב֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔ם your thoughts , maḥ·šə·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem וְלֹ֥א neither are wə·lō דַרְכֵיכֶ֖ם your ways ḏar·ḵê·ḵem דְּרָכָ֑י My ways , ” də·rā·ḵāy נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Isaiah 55:9 כִּֽי־ “ For kî- שָׁמַ֖יִם [as] the heavens šā·ma·yim גָבְה֥וּ are higher ḡā·ḇə·hū מֵאָ֑רֶץ than the earth , mê·’ā·reṣ כֵּ֣ן so kên דְרָכַי֙ My ways ḏə·rā·ḵay גָּבְה֤וּ are higher gā·ḇə·hū מִדַּרְכֵיכֶ֔ם than your ways mid·dar·ḵê·ḵem וּמַחְשְׁבֹתַ֖י and My thoughts ū·maḥ·šə·ḇō·ṯay מִמַּחְשְׁבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ than your thoughts . mim·maḥ·šə·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem
