Isaiah 54:8 בְּשֶׁ֣צֶף In a surge bə·še·ṣep̄ קֶ֗צֶף of anger qe·ṣep̄ הִסְתַּ֨רְתִּי I hid his·tar·tî פָנַ֥י My face p̄ā·nay מִמֵּ֔ךְ from you mim·mêḵ רֶ֙גַע֙ for a moment , re·ḡa‘ עוֹלָ֖ם but with everlasting ‘ō·w·lām וּבְחֶ֥סֶד kindness ū·ḇə·ḥe·seḏ רִֽחַמְתִּ֑יךְ I will have compassion on you , ” ri·ḥam·tîḵ אָמַ֥ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH Yah·weh גֹּאֲלֵ֖ךְ your Redeemer . gō·’ă·lêḵ Isaiah 54:9 כִּי־ “ For kî- לִ֔י to Me lî זֹ֣את this is like zōṯ מֵ֥י vvv mê נֹ֙חַ֙ the days of Noah , nō·aḥ אֲשֶׁ֣ר when ’ă·šer נִשְׁבַּ֗עְתִּי I swore niš·ba‘·tî מֵי־ that the waters mê- נֹ֛חַ of Noah nō·aḥ ע֖וֹד would never again ‘ō·wḏ מֵעֲבֹ֥ר cover mê·‘ă·ḇōr עַל־ ‘al- הָאָ֑רֶץ the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ כֵּ֥ן So kên נִשְׁבַּ֛עְתִּי I have sworn niš·ba‘·tî מִקְּצֹ֥ף that I will not be angry miq·qə·ṣōp̄ עָלַ֖יִךְ with you ‘ā·la·yiḵ וּמִגְּעָר־ or rebuke ū·mig·gə·‘ār- בָּֽךְ׃ you . bāḵ Isaiah 54:10 כִּ֤י Though kî הֶֽהָרִים֙ the mountains he·hā·rîm יָמ֔וּשׁוּ may be removed yā·mū·šū וְהַגְּבָע֖וֹת and the hills wə·hag·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ תְּמוּטֶ֑נָה may be shaken , tə·mū·ṭe·nāh וְחַסְדִּ֞י My loving devotion wə·ḥas·dî מֵאִתֵּ֣ךְ . . . mê·’it·têḵ לֹֽא־ will not lō- יָמ֗וּשׁ depart from you , yā·mūš וּבְרִ֤ית and My covenant ū·ḇə·rîṯ שְׁלוֹמִי֙ of peace šə·lō·w·mî לֹ֣א will not lō תָמ֔וּט be broken , ” ṯā·mūṭ אָמַ֥ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH , Yah·weh מְרַחֲמֵ֖ךְ who has compassion on you . mə·ra·ḥă·mêḵ Isaiah 54:11 עֲנִיָּ֥ה “ O afflicted city , ‘ă·nî·yāh סֹעֲרָ֖ה lashed by storms , sō·‘ă·rāh לֹ֣א without lō נֻחָ֑מָה solace , nu·ḥā·māh הִנֵּ֨ה surely hin·nêh אָנֹכִ֜י I ’ā·nō·ḵî מַרְבִּ֤יץ will set mar·bîṣ אֲבָנַ֔יִךְ your stones ’ă·ḇā·na·yiḵ בַּפּוּךְ֙ in antimony bap·pūḵ וִיסַדְתִּ֖יךְ and lay your foundations wî·saḏ·tîḵ בַּסַּפִּירִֽים׃ with sapphires . bas·sap·pî·rîm Isaiah 54:12 וְשַׂמְתִּ֤י I will make wə·śam·tî שִׁמְשֹׁתַ֔יִךְ your pinnacles šim·šō·ṯa·yiḵ כַּֽדְכֹד֙ of rubies , kaḏ·ḵōḏ וּשְׁעָרַ֖יִךְ your gates ū·šə·‘ā·ra·yiḵ אֶקְדָּ֑ח of sparkling ’eq·dāḥ לְאַבְנֵ֣י jewels , lə·’aḇ·nê וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl גְּבוּלֵ֖ךְ your walls gə·ḇū·lêḵ חֵֽפֶץ׃ of precious ḥê·p̄eṣ לְאַבְנֵי־ stones . lə·’aḇ·nê- Isaiah 54:13 וְכָל־ Then all wə·ḵāl בָּנַ֖יִךְ your sons bā·na·yiḵ לִמּוּדֵ֣י will be taught lim·mū·ḏê יְהוָ֑ה by YHWH , Yah·weh וְרַ֖ב and great wə·raḇ בָּנָֽיִךְ׃ [will be their] bā·nā·yiḵ שְׁל֥וֹם prosperity . šə·lō·wm Isaiah 54:14 בִּצְדָקָ֖ה In righteousness biṣ·ḏā·qāh תִּכּוֹנָ֑נִי you will be established , tik·kō·w·nā·nî רַחֲקִ֤י far ra·ḥă·qî מֵעֹ֙שֶׁק֙ from oppression , mê·‘ō·šeq כִּֽי־ for kî- לֹ֣א {you will have} no lō תִירָ֔אִי fear . ṯî·rā·’î
