יְשׂוֹחֵ֑חַ can recount yə·śō·w·ḥê·aḥ דּוֹר֖וֹ His descendants ? dō·w·rōw כִּ֤י For kî נִגְזַר֙ He was cut off niḡ·zar מֵאֶ֣רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ חַיִּ֔ים of the living ; ḥay·yîm נֶ֥גַע He was stricken ne·ḡa‘ מִפֶּ֥שַׁע for the transgression mip·pe·ša‘ עַמִּ֖י of My people . ‘am·mî לָֽמוֹ׃ lā·mōw Isaiah 53:9 וַיִּתֵּ֤ן He was assigned way·yit·tên קִבְר֔וֹ a grave qiḇ·rōw אֶת־ with ’eṯ- רְשָׁעִים֙ the wicked , rə·šā·‘îm וְאֶת־ and with wə·’eṯ- עָשִׁ֖יר a rich man ‘ā·šîr בְּמֹתָ֑יו in His death , bə·mō·ṯāw עַ֚ל although ‘al עָשָׂ֔ה He had done ‘ā·śāh לֹא־ no lō- חָמָ֣ס violence , ḥā·mās וְלֹ֥א nor wə·lō מִרְמָ֖ה was any deceit mir·māh בְּפִֽיו׃ in His mouth . bə·p̄îw Isaiah 53:10 וַיהוָ֞ה Yet it was YHWH’s Yah·weh חָפֵ֤ץ will ḥā·p̄êṣ דַּכְּאוֹ֙ to crush Him dak·kə·’ōw הֶֽחֱלִ֔י and to cause Him to suffer ; he·ḥĕ·lî אִם־ and when ’im- נַפְשׁ֔וֹ His soul nap̄·šōw תָּשִׂ֤ים is made tā·śîm אָשָׁם֙ a guilt offering , ’ā·šām יִרְאֶ֥ה He will see yir·’eh זֶ֖רַע [His] offspring , ze·ra‘ יַאֲרִ֣יךְ He will prolong ya·’ă·rîḵ יָמִ֑ים His days , yā·mîm וְחֵ֥פֶץ and the good pleasure wə·ḥê·p̄eṣ יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh יִצְלָֽח׃ will prosper yiṣ·lāḥ בְּיָד֥וֹ in His hand . bə·yā·ḏōw Isaiah 53:11 מֵעֲמַ֤ל After the anguish mê·‘ă·mal נַפְשׁוֹ֙ of His soul , nap̄·šōw יִרְאֶ֣ה He will see [the light of life] yir·’eh יִשְׂבָּ֔ע and be satisfied . yiś·bā‘ בְּדַעְתּ֗וֹ By His knowledge bə·ḏa‘·tōw צַדִּ֛יק My righteous ṣad·dîq עַבְדִּ֖י Servant ‘aḇ·dî יַצְדִּ֥יק will justify yaṣ·dîq לָֽרַבִּ֑ים many , lā·rab·bîm ה֥וּא and He hū יִסְבֹּֽל׃ will bear yis·bōl וַעֲוֺנֹתָ֖ם their iniquities . wa·‘ă·wō·nō·ṯām Isaiah 53:12 לָכֵ֞ן Therefore lā·ḵên אֲחַלֶּק־ I will allot Him a portion ’ă·ḥal·leq- ל֣וֹ . . . lōw בָרַבִּ֗ים with the great , ḇā·rab·bîm יְחַלֵּ֣ק and He will divide yə·ḥal·lêq שָׁלָל֒ the spoils šā·lāl וְאֶת־ with wə·’eṯ- עֲצוּמִים֮ the strong , ‘ă·ṣū·mîm תַּ֗חַת because ta·ḥaṯ אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer הֶעֱרָ֤ה He has poured out he·‘ĕ·rāh נַפְשׁ֔וֹ His life nap̄·šōw לַמָּ֙וֶת֙ unto death , lam·mā·weṯ נִמְנָ֑ה and He was numbered nim·nāh וְאֶת־ with wə·’eṯ- פֹּשְׁעִ֖ים the transgressors . pō·šə·‘îm וְהוּא֙ Yet He wə·hū נָשָׂ֔א bore nā·śā חֵטְא־ the sin ḥêṭ- רַבִּ֣ים of many rab·bîm יַפְגִּֽיעַ׃ס and made intercession yap̄·gî·a‘ וְלַפֹּשְׁעִ֖ים for the transgressors . wə·lap·pō·šə·‘îm Isaiah 54:1 רָנִּ֥י “ Shout for joy , rān·nî עֲקָרָ֖ה O barren woman , ‘ă·qā·rāh לֹ֣א vvv lō יָלָ֑דָה who bears no children ; yā·lā·ḏāh פִּצְחִ֨י break forth piṣ·ḥî רִנָּ֤ה in song rin·nāh וְצַהֲלִי֙ and cry aloud , wə·ṣa·hă·lî לֹא־ you who have never lō- חָ֔לָה travailed ; ḥā·lāh כִּֽי־ because kî- רַבִּ֧ים more rab·bîm
