וְאֵשֵֽׁבָה׃ to live here . ’ wə·’ê·šê·ḇāh Isaiah 49:21 וְאָמַ֣רְתְּ Then you will say wə·’ā·mart בִּלְבָבֵ֗ךְ in your heart , bil·ḇā·ḇêḵ מִ֤י ‘ Who mî יָֽלַד־ has begotten yā·laḏ- אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֵ֔לֶּה these ’êl·leh לִי֙ for me ? lî וַאֲנִ֥י I wa·’ă·nî שְׁכוּלָ֖ה was bereaved šə·ḵū·lāh וְגַלְמוּדָ֑ה and barren ; wə·ḡal·mū·ḏāh גֹּלָ֣ה׀ I was exiled gō·lāh וְסוּרָ֗ה and rejected . wə·sū·rāh מִ֣י So who mî וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ vvv wə·’êl·leh גִדֵּ֔ל has reared them ? ḡid·dêl הֵ֤ן Look , hên אֲנִי֙ I ’ă·nî נִשְׁאַ֣רְתִּי was left niš·’ar·tî לְבַדִּ֔י all alone , lə·ḇad·dî אֵ֖לֶּה so ’êl·leh אֵיפֹ֥ה where ’ê·p̄ōh הֵֽם׃פ did they come from ?’” hêm Isaiah 49:22 כֹּֽה־ This is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֞ר says : ’ā·mar הִנֵּ֨ה “ Behold , hin·nêh אֶשָּׂ֤א I will lift up ’eś·śā יָדִ֔י My hand yā·ḏî אֶל־ to ’el- גּוֹיִם֙ the nations , gō·w·yim אָרִ֣ים and raise ’ā·rîm נִסִּ֑י My banner nis·sî וְאֶל־ to wə·’el- עַמִּ֖ים the peoples . ‘am·mîm וְהֵבִ֤יאוּ They will bring wə·hê·ḇî·’ū בָנַ֙יִךְ֙ your sons ḇā·na·yiḵ בְּחֹ֔צֶן in their arms bə·ḥō·ṣen תִּנָּשֶֽׂאנָה׃ and carry tin·nā·śe·nāh וּבְנֹתַ֖יִךְ your daughters ū·ḇə·nō·ṯa·yiḵ עַל־ on ‘al- כָּתֵ֥ף their shoulders . kā·ṯêp̄ Isaiah 49:23 מְלָכִ֜ים Kings mə·lā·ḵîm וְהָי֨וּ will be wə·hā·yū אֹֽמְנַ֗יִךְ your foster fathers , ’ō·mə·na·yiḵ וְשָׂרֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ and their queens wə·śā·rō·w·ṯê·hem מֵינִ֣יקֹתַ֔יִךְ your nursing mothers . mê·nî·qō·ṯa·yiḵ יִשְׁתַּ֣חֲווּ They will bow yiš·ta·ḥă·wū לָ֔ךְ to you lāḵ אַפַּ֗יִם facedown ’ap·pa·yim אֶ֚רֶץ . . . ’e·reṣ יְלַחֵ֑כוּ and lick yə·la·ḥê·ḵū וַעֲפַ֥ר the dust wa·‘ă·p̄ar רַגְלַ֖יִךְ at your feet . raḡ·la·yiḵ וְיָדַ֙עַתְּ֙ Then you will know wə·yā·ḏa·‘at כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֔ה am YHWH ; Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֥ר those who ’ă·šer קוָֹֽי׃ס hope in Me qō·wāy לֹֽא־ will never lō- יֵבֹ֖שׁוּ be put to shame . ” yê·ḇō·šū Isaiah 49:24 מַלְק֑וֹחַ Can the plunder mal·qō·w·aḥ הֲיֻקַּ֥ח be snatched hă·yuq·qaḥ מִגִּבּ֖וֹר from the mighty , mig·gib·bō·wr וְאִם־ or wə·’im- שְׁבִ֥י the captives šə·ḇî צַדִּ֖יק of a tyrant ṣad·dîq יִמָּלֵֽט׃ be delivered ? yim·mā·lêṭ Isaiah 49:25 כִּי־ Indeed , kî- כֹ֣ה׀ this is what ḵōh יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar גַּם־ “ Even gam- שְׁבִ֤י the captives šə·ḇî גִבּוֹר֙ of the mighty ḡib·bō·wr יֻקָּ֔ח will be taken away , yuq·qāḥ וּמַלְק֥וֹחַ and the plunder ū·mal·qō·w·aḥ עָרִ֖יץ of the tyrant ‘ā·rîṣ יִמָּלֵ֑ט will be retrieved ; yim·mā·lêṭ אָנֹכִ֣י I ’ā·nō·ḵî אָרִ֔יב will contend ’ā·rîḇ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- וְאֶת־ with wə·’eṯ-
