Isaiah 45:25 בַּיהוָ֛ה In YHWH Yah·weh כָּל־ all kāl- זֶ֥רַע descendants ze·ra‘ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl יִצְדְּק֥וּ will be justified yiṣ·də·qū וְיִֽתְהַלְל֖וּ and will exult . wə·yiṯ·hal·lū Isaiah 46:1 בֵּל֙ Bel bêl כָּרַ֥ע crouches ; kā·ra‘ נְב֔וֹ Nebo nə·ḇōw הָיוּ֙ . . . hā·yū קֹרֵ֣ס cowers . qō·rês עֲצַבֵּיהֶ֔ם Their idols ‘ă·ṣab·bê·hem לַחַיָּ֖ה [weigh down] beasts la·ḥay·yāh וְלַבְּהֵמָ֑ה and cattle . wə·lab·bə·hê·māh נְשֻׂאֹתֵיכֶ֣ם The images you carry nə·śu·’ō·ṯê·ḵem עֲמוּס֔וֹת are burdensome , ‘ă·mū·sō·wṯ מַשָּׂ֖א a load maś·śā לַעֲיֵפָֽה׃ to the weary [animal] . la·‘ă·yê·p̄āh Isaiah 46:2 קָרְס֤וּ The gods cower ; qā·rə·sū כָֽרְעוּ֙ they crouch ḵā·rə·‘ū יַחְדָּ֔ו together , yaḥ·dāw לֹ֥א vvv lō יָכְל֖וּ unable yā·ḵə·lū מַלֵּ֣ט to relieve mal·lêṭ מַשָּׂ֑א the burden ; maś·śā וְנַפְשָׁ֖ם but they wə·nap̄·šām הָלָֽכָה׃ס themselves go hā·lā·ḵāh בַּשְּׁבִ֥י into captivity . baš·šə·ḇî Isaiah 46:3 שִׁמְע֤וּ “ Listen šim·‘ū אֵלַי֙ to Me , ’ê·lay בֵּ֣ית O house bêṯ יַעֲקֹ֔ב of Jacob , ya·‘ă·qōḇ וְכָל־ all wə·ḵāl שְׁאֵרִ֖ית the remnant šə·’ê·rîṯ בֵּ֣ית of the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl הַֽעֲמֻסִים֙ who have been sustained ha·‘ă·mu·sîm מִנִּי־ from min·nî- בֶ֔טֶן the womb , ḇe·ṭen הַנְּשֻׂאִ֖ים carried along han·nə·śu·’îm מִנִּי־ since min·nî- רָֽחַם׃ birth . rā·ḥam Isaiah 46:4 וְעַד־ Even to wə·‘aḏ- זִקְנָה֙ your old age , ziq·nāh אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî ה֔וּא will be the same , hū אֲנִ֣י and I ’ă·nî אֶסְבֹּ֑ל will bear you up ’es·bōl וְעַד־ when wə·‘aḏ- שֵיבָ֖ה you turn gray . šē·ḇå̄h אֲנִ֤י I ’ă·nî עָשִׂ֙יתִי֙ have made you , ‘ā·śî·ṯî וַאֲנִ֣י and I wa·’ă·nî אֶשָּׂ֔א will carry you ; ’eś·śā וַאֲנִ֥י I wa·’ă·nî אֶסְבֹּ֖ל will sustain you ’es·bōl וַאֲמַלֵּֽט׃ס and deliver you . wa·’ă·mal·lêṭ Isaiah 46:5 לְמִ֥י To whom lə·mî תְדַמְי֖וּנִי will you liken Me ṯə·ḏam·yū·nî וְתַשְׁו֑וּ or count Me equal ? wə·ṯaš·wū וְתַמְשִׁל֖וּנִי To whom will you compare Me , wə·ṯam·ši·lū·nî וְנִדְמֶֽה׃ that we should be alike ? wə·niḏ·meh Isaiah 46:6 הַזָּלִ֤ים They pour out haz·zā·lîm מִכִּ֔יס their bags mik·kîs זָהָב֙ of gold zā·hāḇ יִשְׁקֹ֑לוּ and weigh out yiš·qō·lū וְכֶ֖סֶף silver wə·ḵe·sep̄ בַּקָּנֶ֣ה on scales ; baq·qā·neh יִשְׂכְּר֤וּ they hire yiś·kə·rū צוֹרֵף֙ a goldsmith ṣō·w·rêp̄ וְיַעֲשֵׂ֣הוּ to fashion it wə·ya·‘ă·śê·hū אֵ֔ל into a god , ’êl יִסְגְּד֖וּ so they can bow down yis·gə·ḏū אַף־ and ’ap̄- יִֽשְׁתַּחֲוּֽוּ׃ worship . yiš·ta·ḥăw·wū Isaiah 46:7 יִ֠שָּׂאֻהוּ They lift yiś·śā·’u·hū עַל־ it to ‘al- כָּתֵ֨ף their shoulder kā·ṯêp̄ יִסְבְּלֻ֜הוּ and carry it along ; yis·bə·lu·hū
