אֲנִ֥י I , ’ă·nî יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh בְּרָאתִֽיו׃ס have created it . bə·rā·ṯîw Isaiah 45:9 ה֗וֹי Woe hō·w רָ֚ב to him who quarrels rāḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יֹ֣צְר֔וֹ with his Maker — yō·ṣə·rōw חֶ֖רֶשׂ one clay pot ḥe·reś אֶת־ . . . ’eṯ- חַרְשֵׂ֣י among many ḥar·śê אֲדָמָ֑ה . . . . ’ă·ḏā·māh חֹ֤מֶר Does the clay ḥō·mer הֲיֹאמַ֨ר ask hă·yō·mar לְיֹֽצְרוֹ֙ the potter , lə·yō·ṣə·rōw מַֽה־ ‘ What mah- תַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה are you making ? ’ ta·‘ă·śeh וּפָעָלְךָ֖ Does your work say , ū·p̄ā·‘ā·lə·ḵā אֵין־ ‘ He has no ’ên- יָדַ֥יִם hands yā·ḏa·yim לֽוֹ׃ס ’? lōw Isaiah 45:10 ה֛וֹי Woe hō·w אֹמֵ֥ר to him who says ’ō·mêr לְאָ֖ב to his father , lə·’āḇ מַה־ ‘ What mah- תּוֹלִ֑יד have you begotten ? ’ tō·w·lîḏ וּלְאִשָּׁ֖ה or to his mother , ū·lə·’iš·šāh מַה־ ‘ What mah- תְּחִילִֽין׃ס have you brought forth ? ’” tə·ḥî·lîn Isaiah 45:11 כֹּֽה־ Thus kōh- אָמַ֧ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָ֛ה YHWH , Yah·weh קְד֥וֹשׁ the Holy qə·ḏō·wōš יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל One of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וְיֹצְר֑וֹ and its Maker : wə·yō·ṣə·rōw הָאֹתִיּ֣וֹת “ How dare you hā·’ō·ṯî·yō·wṯ שְׁאָל֔וּנִי question Me šə·’ā·lū·nî עַל־ about ‘al- בָּנַ֛י My sons , bā·nay תְּצַוֻּֽנִי׃ or instruct Me tə·ṣaw·wu·nî וְעַל־ in wə·‘al- פֹּ֥עַל the work pō·‘al יָדַ֖י of My hands ? yā·ḏay Isaiah 45:12 אָֽנֹכִי֙ It is I ’ā·nō·ḵî עָשִׂ֣יתִי who made ‘ā·śî·ṯî אֶ֔רֶץ the earth ’e·reṣ בָרָ֑אתִי and created ḇā·rā·ṯî אֲנִ֗י . . . ’ă·nî וְאָדָ֖ם man wə·’ā·ḏām עָלֶ֣יהָ upon it . ‘ā·le·hā יָדַי֙ It was My hands yā·ḏay נָט֣וּ that stretched out nā·ṭū שָׁמַ֔יִם the heavens , šā·ma·yim צִוֵּֽיתִי׃ and I ordained ṣiw·wê·ṯî וְכָל־ all wə·ḵāl צְבָאָ֖ם their host . ṣə·ḇā·’ām Isaiah 45:13 אָנֹכִי֙ I ’ā·nō·ḵî הַעִירֹתִ֣הֽוּ will raise up [Cyrus] ha·‘î·rō·ṯi·hū בְצֶ֔דֶק in righteousness , ḇə·ṣe·ḏeq אֲיַשֵּׁ֑ר and I will make ’ă·yaš·šêr וְכָל־ all wə·ḵāl דְּרָכָ֖יו his ways [straight] . də·rā·ḵāw הֽוּא־ He hū- יִבְנֶ֤ה will rebuild yiḇ·neh עִירִי֙ My city ‘î·rî וְגָלוּתִ֣י and set My exiles wə·ḡā·lū·ṯî יְשַׁלֵּ֔חַ free , yə·šal·lê·aḥ לֹ֤א but not lō בִמְחִיר֙ for payment ḇim·ḥîr וְלֹ֣א [or] wə·lō בְשֹׁ֔חַד reward , ḇə·šō·ḥaḏ אָמַ֖ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאֽוֹת׃פ of Hosts . ” ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Isaiah 45:14 כֹּ֣ה׀ This is what kōh יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar יְגִ֨יעַ “ The products yə·ḡî·a‘ מִצְרַ֥יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim וּֽסְחַר־ and the merchandise ū·sə·ḥar- כּוּשׁ֮ of Cush , kūš וּסְבָאִים֮ along with the Sabeans , ū·sə·ḇā·’îm אַנְשֵׁ֣י men ’an·šê
