אוֹשִׁר and level ʾō·šir וַהֲדוּרִ֖ים the mountains ; wa·hă·ḏū·rîm אֲשַׁבֵּ֔ר I will break down ’ă·šab·bêr דַּלְת֤וֹת the gates dal·ṯō·wṯ נְחוּשָׁה֙ of bronze nə·ḥū·šāh אֲגַדֵּֽעַ׃ and cut through ’ă·ḡad·dê·a‘ וּבְרִיחֵ֥י the bars ū·ḇə·rî·ḥê בַרְזֶ֖ל of iron . ḇar·zel Isaiah 45:3 וְנָתַתִּ֤י I will give wə·nā·ṯat·tî לְךָ֙ you lə·ḵā אוֹצְר֣וֹת the treasures ’ō·wṣ·rō·wṯ חֹ֔שֶׁךְ of darkness ḥō·šeḵ וּמַטְמֻנֵ֖י and the riches hidden ū·maṭ·mu·nê מִסְתָּרִ֑ים in secret places , mis·tā·rîm לְמַ֣עַן so that lə·ma·‘an תֵּדַ֗ע you may know tê·ḏa‘ כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֧י I [am] ’ă·nî יְהוָ֛ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֥י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl הַקּוֹרֵ֥א who calls haq·qō·w·rê בְשִׁמְךָ֖ you by name . ḇə·šim·ḵā Isaiah 45:4 לְמַ֙עַן֙ For the sake lə·ma·‘an יַעֲקֹ֔ב of Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ עַבְדִּ֣י My servant ‘aḇ·dî וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל and Israel wə·yiś·rā·’êl בְּחִירִ֑י My chosen one , bə·ḥî·rî וָאֶקְרָ֤א I call wā·’eq·rā לְךָ֙ you lə·ḵā בִּשְׁמֶ֔ךָ by name ; biš·me·ḵā אֲכַנְּךָ֖ I have given you a title of honor , ’ă·ḵan·nə·ḵā וְלֹ֥א though you have not wə·lō יְדַעְתָּֽנִי׃ known Me . yə·ḏa‘·tā·nî Isaiah 45:5 אֲנִ֤י I ’ă·nî יְהוָה֙ am YHWH , Yah·weh וְאֵ֣ין and there is no wə·’ên ע֔וֹד other ; ‘ō·wḏ אֵ֣ין there is no ’ên אֱלֹהִ֑ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm זוּלָתִ֖י but Me . zū·lā·ṯî אֲאַזֶּרְךָ֖ I will equip you for battle , ’ă·’az·zer·ḵā וְלֹ֥א though you have not wə·lō יְדַעְתָּֽנִי׃ known Me , yə·ḏa‘·tā·nî Isaiah 45:6 לְמַ֣עַן so that lə·ma·‘an יֵדְע֗וּ all may know , yê·ḏə·‘ū מִמִּזְרַח־ from where the sun rises mim·miz·raḥ- שֶׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ . . . še·meš וּמִמַּ֣עֲרָבָ֔הּ to where it sets , ū·mim·ma·‘ă·rā·ḇāh כִּי־ that kî- אֶ֖פֶס there is none ’e·p̄es בִּלְעָדָ֑י but Me ; bil·‘ā·ḏāy אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֖ה am YHWH , Yah·weh וְאֵ֥ין and there is no wə·’ên עֽוֹד׃ other . ‘ō·wḏ Isaiah 45:7 יוֹצֵ֥ר I form yō·w·ṣêr אוֹר֙ the light ’ō·wr וּבוֹרֵ֣א and create ū·ḇō·w·rê חֹ֔שֶׁךְ the darkness ; ḥō·šeḵ עֹשֶׂ֥ה I bring ‘ō·śeh שָׁל֖וֹם prosperity šā·lō·wm וּב֣וֹרֵא and create ū·ḇō·w·rê רָ֑ע calamity . rā‘ אֲנִ֥י I , ’ă·nî יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh עֹשֶׂ֥ה do ‘ō·śeh כָל־ all ḵāl אֵֽלֶּה׃ס these things . ’êl·leh Isaiah 45:8 הַרְעִ֤יפוּ Drip down , har·‘î·p̄ū שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ O heavens , šā·ma·yim מִמַּ֔עַל from above , mim·ma·‘al וּשְׁחָקִ֖ים and let the skies ū·šə·ḥā·qîm יִזְּלוּ־ pour down yiz·zə·lū- צֶ֑דֶק righteousness . ṣe·ḏeq אֶ֣רֶץ Let the earth ’e·reṣ תִּפְתַּח־ open up tip̄·taḥ- יֶ֗שַׁע that salvation ye·ša‘ וְיִפְרוּ־ may sprout wə·yip̄·rū- וּצְדָקָ֤ה and righteousness ū·ṣə·ḏā·qāh תַצְמִ֙יחַ֙ spring up ṯaṣ·mî·aḥ יַ֔חַד with it ; ya·ḥaḏ
