יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh עָ֣שְׂתָה has done ‘ā·śə·ṯāh זֹּ֑את this zōṯ וּקְד֥וֹשׁ and the Holy ū·qə·ḏō·wōš יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל One of Israel yiś·rā·’êl בְּרָאָֽהּ׃פ has created it . ” bə·rā·’āh Isaiah 41:21 קָרְב֥וּ “ Present qā·rə·ḇū רִֽיבְכֶ֖ם your case , ” rî·ḇə·ḵem יֹאמַ֣ר says yō·mar יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh הַגִּ֙ישׁוּ֙ “ Submit hag·gî·šū עֲצֻמ֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔ם your arguments , ” ‘ă·ṣu·mō·w·ṯê·ḵem יֹאמַ֖ר says yō·mar מֶ֥לֶךְ the King me·leḵ יַעֲקֹֽב׃ of Jacob . ya·‘ă·qōḇ Isaiah 41:22 יַגִּ֙ישׁוּ֙ “ Let them come yag·gî·šū וְיַגִּ֣ידוּ and tell wə·yag·gî·ḏū לָ֔נוּ us lā·nū אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר what ’ă·šer תִּקְרֶ֑ינָה will happen . tiq·re·nāh הַגִּ֜ידוּ Tell hag·gî·ḏū הָרִאשֹׁנ֣וֹת׀ the former things hā·ri·šō·nō·wṯ מָ֣ה . . . māh הֵ֗נָּה . . . , hên·nāh וְנָשִׂ֤ימָה so that we may reflect on wə·nā·śî·māh לִבֵּ֙נוּ֙ them lib·bê·nū וְנֵדְעָ֣ה and know wə·nê·ḏə·‘āh אַחֲרִיתָ֔ן the outcome . ’a·ḥă·rî·ṯān א֥וֹ Or ’ōw הַשְׁמִיעֻֽנוּ׃ announce to us haš·mî·‘u·nū הַבָּא֖וֹת what is coming . hab·bā·’ō·wṯ Isaiah 41:23 הַגִּ֙ידוּ֙ Tell us hag·gî·ḏū הָאֹתִיּ֣וֹת the things hā·’ō·ṯî·yō·wṯ לְאָח֔וֹר that are to come , lə·’ā·ḥō·wr וְנֵ֣דְעָ֔ה so that we may know wə·nê·ḏə·‘āh כִּ֥י that kî אַתֶּ֑ם you ’at·tem אֱלֹהִ֖ים are gods . ’ĕ·lō·hîm אַף־ Yes , ’ap̄- תֵּיטִ֣יבוּ do something good tê·ṭî·ḇū וְתָרֵ֔עוּ or evil , wə·ṯā·rê·‘ū וְנִשְׁתָּ֖עָה that we may look on together in dismay wə·niš·tā·‘āh וְנִרָא . . . wə·ni·rå̄ יַחְדָּֽו׃ . . . . yaḥ·dāw Isaiah 41:24 הֵן־ Behold , hên- אַתֶּ֣ם you ’at·tem מֵאַ֔יִן are nothing mê·’a·yin וּפָעָלְכֶ֖ם and your work ū·p̄ā·‘ā·lə·ḵem מֵאָ֑פַע is of no value . mê·’ā·p̄a‘ יִבְחַ֥ר Anyone who chooses yiḇ·ḥar בָּכֶֽם׃ you bā·ḵem תּוֹעֵבָ֖ה is detestable . tō·w·‘ê·ḇāh Isaiah 41:25 הַעִיר֤וֹתִי I have raised up ha·‘î·rō·w·ṯî מִצָּפוֹן֙ [one] from the north , miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn וַיַּ֔את and he has come — way·yaṯ מִמִּזְרַח־ one from the east mim·miz·raḥ- שֶׁ֖מֶשׁ . . . še·meš יִקְרָ֣א who calls on yiq·rā בִשְׁמִ֑י My name . ḇiš·mî וְיָבֹ֤א He will march over wə·yā·ḇō סְגָנִים֙ rulers sə·ḡā·nîm כְּמוֹ־ as if kə·mōw- חֹ֔מֶר they were mortar , ḥō·mer וּכְמ֥וֹ like ū·ḵə·mōw יוֹצֵ֖ר a potter yō·w·ṣêr יִרְמָס־ who treads yir·mās- טִֽיט׃ the clay . ṭîṭ Isaiah 41:26 מִֽי־ Who mî- הִגִּ֤יד has declared [this] hig·gîḏ מֵרֹאשׁ֙ from the beginning , mê·rōš וְנֵדָ֔עָה so that we may know , wə·nê·ḏā·‘āh וּמִלְּפָנִ֖ים and from times past , ū·mil·lə·p̄ā·nîm וְנֹאמַ֣ר so that we may say : wə·nō·mar צַדִּ֑יק ‘ He was right ’? ṣad·dîq אַ֣ף . . . ’ap̄ אֵין־ No ’ên- מַגִּ֗יד one announced it , mag·gîḏ אַ֚ף . . . ’ap̄ אֵ֣ין no one ’ên מַשְׁמִ֔יעַ foretold it , maš·mî·a‘ אַ֥ף . . . ’ap̄
