Isaiah 41:8 וְאַתָּה֙ “ But you , wə·’at·tāh יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל O Israel , yiś·rā·’êl עַבְדִּ֔י My servant , ‘aḇ·dî יַעֲקֹ֖ב Jacob , ya·‘ă·qōḇ אֲשֶׁ֣ר whom ’ă·šer בְּחַרְתִּ֑יךָ I have chosen , bə·ḥar·tî·ḵā זֶ֖רַע descendant ze·ra‘ אַבְרָהָ֥ם of Abraham ’aḇ·rā·hām אֹהֲבִֽי׃ My friend — ’ō·hă·ḇî Isaiah 41:9 הֶחֱזַקְתִּ֙יךָ֙ I brought he·ḥĕ·zaq·tî·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֤ר you from ’ă·šer מִקְצ֣וֹת the ends miq·ṣō·wṯ הָאָ֔רֶץ of the earth hā·’ā·reṣ קְרָאתִ֑יךָ and called you qə·rā·ṯî·ḵā וּמֵאֲצִילֶ֖יהָ from its farthest corners . ū·mê·’ă·ṣî·le·hā וָאֹ֤מַר I said wā·’ō·mar לְךָ֙ , lə·ḵā אַ֔תָּה ‘ You ’at·tāh עַבְדִּי־ are My servant . ’ ‘aḇ·dî- בְּחַרְתִּ֖יךָ I have chosen bə·ḥar·tî·ḵā וְלֹ֥א and not wə·lō מְאַסְתִּֽיךָ׃ rejected you . mə·’as·tî·ḵā Isaiah 41:10 אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּירָא֙ fear , tî·rā כִּ֣י for kî אָ֔נִי I ’ā·nî עִמְּךָ־ am with you ; ‘im·mə·ḵā- אַל־ do not ’al- תִּשְׁתָּ֖ע be afraid , tiš·tā‘ כִּֽי־ for kî- אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ am your God . ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā אִמַּצְתִּ֙יךָ֙ I will strengthen you ; ’im·maṣ·tî·ḵā אַף־ vvv ’ap̄- עֲזַרְתִּ֔יךָ I will surely help you ; ‘ă·zar·tî·ḵā אַף־ . . . ’ap̄- תְּמַכְתִּ֖יךָ I will uphold you tə·maḵ·tî·ḵā בִּימִ֥ין with My right hand bî·mîn צִדְקִֽי׃ of righteousness . ṣiḏ·qî Isaiah 41:11 הֵ֤ן Behold , hên כֹּ֖ל all kōl הַנֶּחֱרִ֣ים who rage han·ne·ḥĕ·rîm בָּ֑ךְ against you bāḵ יֵבֹ֙שׁוּ֙ will be ashamed yê·ḇō·šū וְיִכָּ֣לְמ֔וּ and disgraced ; wə·yik·kā·lə·mū אַנְשֵׁ֥י those who contend ’an·šê רִיבֶֽךָ׃ with you rî·ḇe·ḵā יִֽהְי֥וּ will be yih·yū כְאַ֛יִן reduced to nothing ḵə·’a·yin וְיֹאבְד֖וּ and will perish . wə·yō·ḇə·ḏū Isaiah 41:12 תְּבַקְשֵׁם֙ You will seek tə·ḇaq·šêm אַנְשֵׁ֖י [them] ’an·šê מַצֻּתֶ֑ךָ . . . maṣ·ṣu·ṯe·ḵā וְלֹ֣א but will not wə·lō תִמְצָאֵ֔ם find them . ṯim·ṣā·’êm מִלְחַמְתֶּֽךָ׃ Those who wage war mil·ḥam·te·ḵā אַנְשֵׁ֥י against you ’an·šê יִהְי֥וּ will come yih·yū כְאַ֛יִן to nothing ḵə·’a·yin וּכְאֶ֖פֶס . . . . ū·ḵə·’e·p̄es Isaiah 41:13 כִּ֗י For kî אֲנִ֛י I am ’ă·nî יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā מַחֲזִ֣יק who takes hold ma·ḥă·zîq יְמִינֶ֑ךָ of your right hand yə·mî·ne·ḵā הָאֹמֵ֥ר and tells hā·’ō·mêr לְךָ֛ you : lə·ḵā אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּירָ֖א fear , tî·rā אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî עֲזַרְתִּֽיךָ׃ס will help you . ‘ă·zar·tî·ḵā Isaiah 41:14 אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּֽירְאִי֙ fear , tî·rə·’î תּוֹלַ֣עַת O worm tō·w·la·‘aṯ יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב of Jacob , ya·‘ă·qōḇ מְתֵ֖י O few men mə·ṯê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl אֲנִ֤י I ’ă·nî
