בְּבֵיתֶ֗ךָ in your palace bə·ḇê·ṯe·ḵā וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר - wa·’ă·šer אֲשֶׁ֣ר and all that ’ă·šer אֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ your fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā אָצְר֧וּ have stored up ’ā·ṣə·rū עַד־ until ‘aḏ- הַזֶּ֖ה this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day hay·yō·wm וְנִשָּׂ֣א׀ will be carried off wə·niś·śā בָּבֶ֑ל to Babylon . bā·ḇel לֹֽא־ Nothing lō- דָּבָ֖ר . . . dā·ḇār יִוָּתֵ֥ר will be left , yiw·wā·ṯêr אָמַ֥ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Isaiah 39:7 וּמִבָּנֶ֜יךָ And some of your descendants ū·mib·bā·ne·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer יֵצְא֧וּ - , yê·ṣə·’ū מִמְּךָ֛ your mim·mə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer תּוֹלִ֖יד own flesh and blood , tō·w·lîḏ יִקָּ֑חוּ will be taken away yiq·qā·ḥū וְהָיוּ֙ to be wə·hā·yū סָרִיסִ֔ים eunuchs sā·rî·sîm בְּהֵיכַ֖ל in the palace bə·hê·ḵal מֶ֥לֶךְ of the king me·leḵ בָּבֶֽל׃ of Babylon . ” bā·ḇel Isaiah 39:8 חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ But Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yā·hū וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶֽל־ to ’el- יְשַׁעְיָ֔הוּ Isaiah , yə·ša‘·yā·hū דְּבַר־ “ The word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer דִּבַּ֑רְתָּ you have spoken dib·bar·tā ט֥וֹב is good . ” ṭō·wḇ וַיֹּ֕אמֶר For he thought , way·yō·mer כִּ֥י “ At least kî יִהְיֶ֛ה there will be yih·yeh שָׁל֥וֹם peace šā·lō·wm וֶאֱמֶ֖ת and security we·’ĕ·meṯ בְּיָמָֽי׃פ in my lifetime . ” bə·yā·māy Isaiah 40:1 נַחֲמ֥וּ “ Comfort , na·ḥă·mū נַחֲמ֖וּ comfort na·ḥă·mū עַמִּ֑י My people , ” ‘am·mî יֹאמַ֖ר says yō·mar אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem Isaiah 40:2 דַּבְּר֞וּ “ Speak dab·bə·rū עַל־ tenderly to ‘al- לֵ֤ב . . . lêḇ יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ Jerusalem , yə·rū·šā·lim וְקִרְא֣וּ and proclaim wə·qir·’ū אֵלֶ֔יהָ to her ’ê·le·hā כִּ֤י that kî צְבָאָ֔הּ her forced labor ṣə·ḇā·’āh מָֽלְאָה֙ has been completed ; mā·lə·’āh עֲוֺנָ֑הּ her iniquity ‘ă·wō·nāh כִּ֤י . . . kî נִרְצָ֖ה has been pardoned . nir·ṣāh כִּ֥י For kî לָקְחָה֙ she has received lā·qə·ḥāh מִיַּ֣ד from the hand mî·yaḏ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh כִּפְלַ֖יִם double kip̄·la·yim בְּכָל־ for all bə·ḵāl חַטֹּאתֶֽיהָ׃ס her sins . ” ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯe·hā Isaiah 40:3 ק֣וֹל A voice qō·wl קוֹרֵ֔א of one calling : qō·w·rê פַּנּ֖וּ “ Prepare pan·nū דֶּ֣רֶךְ the way de·reḵ יְהוָ֑ה for YHWH Yah·weh בַּמִּדְבָּ֕ר in the wilderness ; bam·miḏ·bār יַשְּׁרוּ֙ make a straight yaš·šə·rū מְסִלָּ֖ה highway mə·sil·lāh לֵאלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ for our God lê·lō·hê·nū בָּעֲרָבָ֔ה in the desert . bā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh Isaiah 40:4 כָּל־ Every kāl- גֶּיא֙ valley ge יִנָּשֵׂ֔א shall be lifted up , yin·nā·śê וְכָל־ and every wə·ḵāl הַ֥ר mountain har וְגִבְעָ֖ה and hill wə·ḡiḇ·‘āh
