Isaiah 39:2 חִזְקִיָּהוּ֒ And Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yā·hū וַיִּשְׂמַ֣ח welcomed way·yiś·maḥ עֲלֵיהֶם֮ [the envoys] {gladly} ‘ă·lê·hem וַיַּרְאֵ֣ם and showed them way·yar·’êm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נְכֹתָה what was in his treasure nə·ḵō·ṯå̄h אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּ֣ית house — bêṯ הַכֶּסֶף֩ the silver , hak·ke·sep̄ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַזָּהָ֨ב the gold , haz·zā·hāḇ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַבְּשָׂמִ֜ים the spices , hab·bə·śā·mîm וְאֵ֣ת׀ - wə·’êṯ הַטּ֗וֹב and the precious haṭ·ṭō·wḇ וְאֵת֙ - wə·’êṯ הַשֶּׁ֣מֶן oil , haš·še·men כָּל־ as well as his entire kāl- בֵּ֣ית armory bêṯ כֵּלָ֔יו . . . — kê·lāw וְאֵ֛ת - wə·’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer נִמְצָ֖א was found nim·ṣā בְּאֹֽצְרֹתָ֑יו in his storehouses . bə·’ō·ṣə·rō·ṯāw הָיָ֣ה There was hā·yāh לֹֽא־ nothing lō- דָבָ֗ר . . . ḏā·ḇār בְּבֵית֖וֹ in his palace bə·ḇê·ṯōw וּבְכָל־ or in all ū·ḇə·ḵāl מֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ׃ his dominion mem·šal·tōw אֲ֠שֶׁר that ’ă·šer חִזְקִיָּ֛הוּ Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yā·hū לֹֽא־ did not lō- הֶרְאָ֧ם show them . her·’ām Isaiah 39:3 הַנָּבִ֔יא Then the prophet han·nā·ḇî יְשַׁעְיָ֣הוּ Isaiah yə·ša‘·yā·hū וַיָּבֹא֙ went way·yā·ḇō אֶל־ to ’el- הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yā·hū וַיֹּ֨אמֶר and asked , way·yō·mer וּמֵאַ֙יִן֙ “ Where ū·mê·’a·yin הָאֵ֗לֶּה did those [men] hā·’êl·leh יָבֹ֣אוּ come from , yā·ḇō·’ū מָ֥ה and what māh אָמְר֣וּ׀ did they say ’ā·mə·rū הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים . . . hā·’ă·nā·šîm אֵלָ֜יו to you ? ” ’ê·lāw בָּ֥אוּ “ They came bā·’ū אֵלַ֖י to me ’ê·lay אֵלֶ֔יךָ from ’ê·le·ḵā רְחוֹקָ֛ה a distant rə·ḥō·w·qāh מֵאֶ֧רֶץ land , ” mê·’e·reṣ חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yā·hū וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ replied , way·yō·mer מִבָּבֶֽל׃ “ from Babylon . ” mib·bā·ḇel Isaiah 39:4 מָ֥ה “ What māh רָא֖וּ have they seen rā·’ū בְּבֵיתֶ֑ךָ in your palace ? ” bə·ḇê·ṯe·ḵā וַיֹּ֕אמֶר Isaiah asked . way·yō·mer רָא֔וּ “ They have seen rā·’ū כָּל־ everything kāl- אֲשֶׁ֤ר ’ă·šer בְּבֵיתִי֙ in my palace , ” bə·ḇê·ṯî וַיֹּ֣אמֶר answered way·yō·mer חִזְקִיָּ֗הוּ Hezekiah . ḥiz·qî·yā·hū אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ לֹֽא־ “ There is nothing lō- הָיָ֥ה . . . hā·yāh דָבָ֛ר . . . ḏā·ḇār בְּאוֹצְרֹתָֽי׃ among my treasures bə·’ō·wṣ·rō·ṯāy אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ I did not lō- הִרְאִיתִ֖ים show them . ” hir·’î·ṯîm Isaiah 39:5 יְשַׁעְיָ֖הוּ Then Isaiah yə·ša‘·yā·hū וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ Hezekiah , ḥiz·qî·yā·hū שְׁמַ֖ע “ Hear šə·ma‘ דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאֽוֹת׃ of Hosts : ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Isaiah 39:6 יָמִ֣ים The time yā·mîm הִנֵּה֮ will surely hin·nêh בָּאִים֒ come bā·’îm כָּל־ when everything kāl-
