ה֥וּא He hū יָב֖וֹא will come yā·ḇō·w וְיֹשַׁעֲכֶֽם׃ to save you . ” wə·yō·ša·‘ă·ḵem Isaiah 35:5 אָ֥ז Then ’āz עֵינֵ֣י the eyes ‘ê·nê עִוְרִ֑ים of the blind ‘iw·rîm תִּפָּקַ֖חְנָה will be opened tip·pā·qaḥ·nāh וְאָזְנֵ֥י and the ears wə·’ā·zə·nê חֵרְשִׁ֖ים of the deaf ḥê·rə·šîm תִּפָּתַֽחְנָה׃ unstopped . tip·pā·ṯaḥ·nāh Isaiah 35:6 אָ֣ז Then ’āz פִּסֵּ֔חַ the lame pis·sê·aḥ יְדַלֵּ֤ג will leap yə·ḏal·lêḡ כָּֽאַיָּל֙ like a deer kā·’ay·yāl אִלֵּ֑ם and the mute ’il·lêm לְשׁ֣וֹן tongue lə·šō·wn וְתָרֹ֖ן will shout for joy . wə·ṯā·rōn כִּֽי־ For kî- מַ֔יִם waters ma·yim נִבְקְע֤וּ will gush forth niḇ·qə·‘ū בַמִּדְבָּר֙ in the wilderness , ḇam·miḏ·bār וּנְחָלִ֖ים and streams ū·nə·ḥā·lîm בָּעֲרָבָֽה׃ in the desert . bā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh Isaiah 35:7 הַשָּׁרָב֙ The parched ground haš·šā·rāḇ וְהָיָ֤ה will become wə·hā·yāh לַאֲגַ֔ם a pool , la·’ă·ḡam וְצִמָּא֖וֹן the thirsty land wə·ṣim·mā·’ō·wn לְמַבּ֣וּעֵי springs lə·mab·bū·‘ê מָ֑יִם of water . mā·yim בִּנְוֵ֤ה In the haunt bin·wêh תַנִּים֙ where jackals ṯan·nîm רִבְצָ֔הּ once lay , riḇ·ṣāh חָצִ֖יר there will be grass ḥā·ṣîr לְקָנֶ֥ה [and] reeds lə·qā·neh וָגֹֽמֶא׃ and papyrus . wā·ḡō·me Isaiah 35:8 שָׁ֞ם And there šām וְהָיָה־ will be wə·hā·yāh- מַסְל֣וּל a highway mas·lūl וָדֶ֗רֶךְ . . . wā·ḏe·reḵ יִקָּ֣רֵא called yiq·qā·rê לָ֔הּ lāh וְדֶ֤רֶךְ the Way wə·ḏe·reḵ הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ of Holiness . haq·qō·ḏeš טָמֵ֖א The unclean ṭā·mê לֹֽא־ will not lō- יַעַבְרֶ֥נּוּ travel it — ya·‘aḇ·ren·nū וְהוּא־ only wə·hū- לָ֑מוֹ . . . lā·mōw הֹלֵ֥ךְ those who walk hō·lêḵ דֶּ֛רֶךְ in the Way — de·reḵ וֶאֱוִילִ֖ים and fools we·’ĕ·wî·lîm לֹ֥א will not lō יִתְעֽוּ׃ stray onto it . yiṯ·‘ū Isaiah 35:9 לֹא־ No lō- אַרְיֵ֗ה lion ’ar·yêh יִהְיֶ֨ה will be yih·yeh שָׁ֜ם there , šām בַּֽל־ and no bal- וּפְרִ֤יץ vicious ū·p̄ə·rîṣ חַיּוֹת֙ beast ḥay·yō·wṯ יַעֲלֶ֔נָּה will go up on it . ya·‘ă·len·nāh לֹ֥א Such will not lō תִמָּצֵ֖א be found ṯim·mā·ṣê שָׁ֑ם there , šām גְּאוּלִֽים׃ but the redeemed gə·’ū·lîm וְהָלְכ֖וּ will walk upon it . wə·hā·lə·ḵū Isaiah 35:10 וּפְדוּיֵ֨י So the redeemed ū·p̄ə·ḏū·yê יְהוָ֜ה of YHWH Yah·weh יְשֻׁב֗וּן will return yə·šu·ḇūn וּבָ֤אוּ and enter ū·ḇā·’ū צִיּוֹן֙ Zion ṣî·yō·wn בְּרִנָּ֔ה with singing , bə·rin·nāh עַל־ crowned ‘al- רֹאשָׁ֑ם . . . rō·šām עוֹלָ֖ם with everlasting ‘ō·w·lām וְשִׂמְחַ֥ת joy . wə·śim·ḥaṯ שָׂשׂ֤וֹן Gladness śā·śō·wn וְשִׂמְחָה֙ and joy wə·śim·ḥāh יַשִּׂ֔יגוּ will overtake them , yaś·śî·ḡū יָג֥וֹן and sorrow yā·ḡō·wn וַאֲנָחָֽה׃פ and sighing wa·’ă·nā·ḥāh וְנָ֖סוּ will flee . wə·nā·sū
