נִקְבְּצ֥וּ will gather , niq·bə·ṣū אִשָּׁ֥ה each ’iš·šāh רְעוּתָֽהּ׃ with its mate . rə·‘ū·ṯāh Isaiah 34:16 דִּרְשׁ֨וּ Search dir·šū מֵֽעַל־ . . . mê·‘al- וּֽקְרָ֔אוּ and read ū·qə·rā·’ū סֵ֤פֶר the scroll sê·p̄er יְהוָה֙ of YHWH : Yah·weh לֹ֣א Not lō אַחַ֤ת one ’a·ḥaṯ מֵהֵ֙נָּה֙ of these mê·hên·nāh נֶעְדָּ֔רָה will go missing , ne‘·dā·rāh אִשָּׁ֥ה not one ’iš·šāh לֹ֣א . . . lō פָקָ֑דוּ will lack p̄ā·qā·ḏū רְעוּתָ֖הּ her mate , rə·‘ū·ṯāh כִּֽי־ because kî- ה֣וּא He hū צִוָּ֔ה has ordered ṣiw·wāh פִי֙ it by His mouth , p̄î ה֥וּא and He hū קִבְּצָֽן׃ will gather them qib·bə·ṣān וְרוּח֖וֹ by His Spirit . wə·rū·ḥōw Isaiah 34:17 וְהֽוּא־ He wə·hū- הִפִּ֤יל has allotted hip·pîl לָהֶן֙ their lā·hen גּוֹרָ֔ל portion ; gō·w·rāl וְיָד֛וֹ His hand wə·yā·ḏōw חִלְּקַ֥תָּה has distributed ḥil·lə·qat·tāh לָהֶ֖ם it lā·hem בַּקָּ֑ו by measure . baq·qāw יִֽירָשׁ֔וּהָ They will possess yî·rā·šū·hā עַד־ it forever ‘aḏ- עוֹלָם֙ . . . ; ‘ō·w·lām יִשְׁכְּנוּ־ they will dwell yiš·kə·nū- בָֽהּ׃ס in it ḇāh לְד֥וֹר from generation lə·ḏō·wr וָד֖וֹר to generation . wā·ḏō·wr Isaiah 35:1 מִדְבָּ֖ר The wilderness miḏ·bār וְצִיָּ֑ה and the land wə·ṣî·yāh יְשֻׂשׂ֥וּם will be glad ; yə·śu·śūm עֲרָבָ֛ה the desert ‘ă·rā·ḇāh וְתָגֵ֧ל will rejoice wə·ṯā·ḡêl וְתִפְרַ֖ח and blossom wə·ṯip̄·raḥ כַּחֲבַצָּֽלֶת׃ like a rose . ka·ḥă·ḇaṣ·ṣā·leṯ Isaiah 35:2 פָּרֹ֨חַ It will bloom profusely pā·rō·aḥ תִּפְרַ֜ח . . . tip̄·raḥ אַ֚ף and ’ap̄ וְתָגֵ֗ל rejoice wə·ṯā·ḡêl גִּילַ֣ת with joy gî·laṯ וְרַנֵּ֔ן and singing . wə·ran·nên כְּב֤וֹד The glory kə·ḇō·wḏ הַלְּבָנוֹן֙ of Lebanon hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn נִתַּן־ will be given nit·tan- לָ֔הּ to it , lāh הֲדַ֥ר the splendor hă·ḏar הַכַּרְמֶ֖ל of Carmel hak·kar·mel וְהַשָּׁר֑וֹן and Sharon . wə·haš·šā·rō·wn הֵ֛מָּה They hêm·māh יִרְא֥וּ will see yir·’ū כְבוֹד־ the glory ḵə·ḇō·wḏ- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH , Yah·weh הֲדַ֥ר the splendor hă·ḏar אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ס of our God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū Isaiah 35:3 חַזְּק֖וּ Strengthen ḥaz·zə·qū רָפ֑וֹת the limp rā·p̄ō·wṯ יָדַ֣יִם hands yā·ḏa·yim אַמֵּֽצוּ׃ and steady ’am·mê·ṣū כֹּשְׁל֖וֹת the feeble kō·šə·lō·wṯ וּבִרְכַּ֥יִם knees ! ū·ḇir·ka·yim Isaiah 35:4 אִמְרוּ֙ Say ’im·rū לְנִמְהֲרֵי־ to those with anxious lə·nim·hă·rê- לֵ֔ב hearts : lêḇ חִזְק֖וּ “ Be strong , ḥiz·qū אַל־ do not ’al- תִּירָ֑אוּ fear ! tî·rā·’ū הִנֵּ֤ה Behold , hin·nêh אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙ your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem יָב֔וֹא will come yā·ḇō·w נָקָ֣ם with vengeance . nā·qām אֱלֹהִ֔ים With divine ’ĕ·lō·hîm גְּמ֣וּל retribution gə·mūl
