בַּל־ will not bal- יִסַּ֤ע be pulled up , yis·sa‘ בַּל־ nor bal- וְכָל־ will any wə·ḵāl חֲבָלָ֖יו of its cords ḥă·ḇā·lāw יִנָּתֵֽקוּ׃ be broken . yin·nā·ṯê·qū Isaiah 33:21 כִּ֣י - kî אִם־ But ’im- שָׁ֞ם there šām אַדִּ֤יר the Majestic One , ’ad·dîr יְהוָה֙ our YHWH , Yah·weh לָ֔נוּ [will be] for us lā·nū מְקוֹם־ a place mə·qō·wm- נְהָרִ֥ים of rivers nə·hā·rîm רַחֲבֵ֣י and wide ra·ḥă·ḇê יָדָ֑יִם . . . yā·ḏā·yim יְאֹרִ֖ים canals , yə·’ō·rîm בַּל־ where no bal- אֳנִי־ galley ’o·nî- שַׁ֔יִט with oars ša·yiṭ תֵּ֤לֶךְ will row tê·leḵ בּוֹ֙ , bōw לֹ֥א and no lō אַדִּ֖יר majestic ’ad·dîr וְצִ֥י vessel wə·ṣî יַעַבְרֶֽנּוּ׃ will pass . ya·‘aḇ·ren·nū Isaiah 33:22 כִּ֤י For kî יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh שֹׁפְטֵ֔נוּ is our Judge , šō·p̄ə·ṭê·nū יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh מְחֹקְקֵ֑נוּ is our lawgiver , mə·ḥō·qə·qê·nū יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh מַלְכֵּ֖נוּ is our King . mal·kê·nū ה֥וּא [It is] He hū יוֹשִׁיעֵֽנוּ׃ who will save us . yō·wō·šî·‘ê·nū Isaiah 33:23 חֲבָלָ֑יִךְ Your ropes ḥă·ḇā·lā·yiḵ נִטְּשׁ֖וּ are slack ; niṭ·ṭə·šū בַּל־ they cannot bal- יְחַזְּק֤וּ secure yə·ḥaz·zə·qū כֵן־ - ḵên- תָּרְנָם֙ the mast tā·rə·nām בַּל־ . . . bal- פָּ֣רְשׂוּ or spread pā·rə·śū נֵ֔ס the sail . nês אָ֣ז Then ’āz מַרְבֶּ֔ה an abundance mar·beh עַֽד־ vvv ‘aḏ- שָׁלָל֙ of spoils šā·lāl חֻלַּ֤ק will be divided , ḥul·laq פִּסְחִ֖ים [and even] the lame pis·ḥîm בָּ֥זְזוּ will carry off plunder bā·zə·zū בַֽז׃ . . . . ḇaz Isaiah 33:24 וּבַל־ And no ū·ḇal- שָׁכֵ֖ן resident [of Zion] šā·ḵên יֹאמַ֥ר will say , yō·mar חָלִ֑יתִי “ I am sick . ” ḥā·lî·ṯî הָעָ֛ם The people hā·‘ām הַיֹּשֵׁ֥ב who dwell hay·yō·šêḇ בָּ֖הּ there bāh נְשֻׂ֥א will be forgiven nə·śu עָוֺֽן׃ of iniquity . ‘ā·wōn Isaiah 34:1 קִרְב֤וּ Come near , qir·ḇū גוֹיִם֙ O nations , ḡō·w·yim לִשְׁמֹ֔עַ to listen ; liš·mō·a‘ הַקְשִׁ֑יבוּ pay attention , haq·šî·ḇū וּלְאֻמִּ֖ים O peoples . ū·lə·’um·mîm הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ Let the earth hā·’ā·reṣ תִּשְׁמַ֤ע hear , tiš·ma‘ וּמְלֹאָ֔הּ and all that fills it , ū·mə·lō·’āh תֵּבֵ֖ל the world tê·ḇêl וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl צֶאֱצָאֶֽיהָ׃ that springs from it . ṣe·’ĕ·ṣā·’e·hā Isaiah 34:2 כִּ֣י - kî לַֽיהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh קֶ֤צֶף is angry qe·ṣep̄ עַל־ with ‘al- עַל־ . . . ‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- כָּל־ . . . kāl- הַגּוֹיִ֔ם the nations hag·gō·w·yim וְחֵמָ֖ה and furious wə·ḥê·māh צְבָאָ֑ם with all their armies . ṣə·ḇā·’ām
