חָכְמַ֣ת wisdom , ḥā·ḵə·maṯ וָדָ֑עַת and knowledge . wā·ḏā·‘aṯ יִרְאַ֥ת The fear yir·’aṯ יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh הִ֥יא . . . hî אוֹצָרֽוֹ׃ס is [Zion’s] treasure . ’ō·w·ṣā·rōw Isaiah 33:7 הֵ֚ן Behold , hên אֶרְאֶלָּ֔ם their valiant ones ’er·’el·lām צָעֲק֖וּ cry aloud ṣā·‘ă·qū חֻ֑צָה in the streets ; ḥu·ṣāh מַלְאֲכֵ֣י the envoys mal·’ă·ḵê שָׁל֔וֹם of peace šā·lō·wm יִבְכָּיֽוּן׃ weep yiḇ·kā·yūn מַ֖ר bitterly . mar Isaiah 33:8 מְסִלּ֔וֹת The highways mə·sil·lō·wṯ נָשַׁ֣מּוּ are deserted ; nā·šam·mū עֹבֵ֣ר travel ‘ō·ḇêr אֹ֑רַח . . . ’ō·raḥ שָׁבַ֖ת has ceased . šā·ḇaṯ בְּרִית֙ The treaty bə·rîṯ הֵפֵ֤ר has been broken , hê·p̄êr עָרִ֔ים the witnesses ‘ā·rîm מָאַ֣ס are despised , mā·’as לֹ֥א and human life lō חָשַׁ֖ב is disregarded ḥā·šaḇ אֱנֽוֹשׁ׃ . . . . ’ĕ·nō·wōš Isaiah 33:9 אָ֔רֶץ The land ’ā·reṣ אָבַ֤ל mourns ’ā·ḇal אֻמְלְלָה֙ [and] languishes ; ’um·lə·lāh לְבָנ֖וֹן Lebanon lə·ḇā·nō·wn הֶחְפִּ֥יר is ashamed heḥ·pîr קָמַ֑ל and decayed . qā·mal הַשָּׁרוֹן֙ Sharon haš·šā·rō·wn הָיָ֤ה is hā·yāh כָּֽעֲרָבָ֔ה like a desert ; kā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh בָּשָׁ֖ן Bashan bā·šān וְכַרְמֶֽל׃ and Carmel wə·ḵar·mel וְנֹעֵ֥ר shake off their leaves . wə·nō·‘êr Isaiah 33:10 עַתָּ֥ה “ Now ‘at·tāh אָק֖וּם I will arise , ” ’ā·qūm יֹאמַ֣ר says yō·mar יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh עַתָּה֙ “ Now ‘at·tāh אֵֽרוֹמָ֔ם I will lift Myself up . ’ê·rō·w·mām עַתָּ֖ה Now ‘at·tāh אֶנָּשֵֽׂא׃ I will be exalted . ’en·nā·śê Isaiah 33:11 תַּהֲר֥וּ You conceive ta·hă·rū חֲשַׁ֖שׁ chaff ; ḥă·šaš תֵּ֣לְדוּ you give birth to tê·lə·ḏū קַ֑שׁ stubble . qaš רוּחֲכֶ֕ם Your breath rū·ḥă·ḵem אֵ֖שׁ is a fire ’êš תֹּאכַלְכֶֽם׃ that will consume you . tō·ḵal·ḵem Isaiah 33:12 עַמִּ֖ים The peoples ‘am·mîm וְהָי֥וּ will be wə·hā·yū מִשְׂרְפ֣וֹת burned miś·rə·p̄ō·wṯ שִׂ֑יד to ashes , śîḏ קוֹצִ֥ים like thorns qō·w·ṣîm כְּסוּחִ֖ים cut down kə·sū·ḥîm יִצַּֽתּוּ׃ס and set yiṣ·ṣat·tū בָּאֵ֥שׁ ablaze . bā·’êš Isaiah 33:13 רְחוֹקִ֖ים You who are far off , rə·ḥō·w·qîm שִׁמְע֥וּ hear šim·‘ū אֲשֶׁ֣ר what ’ă·šer עָשִׂ֑יתִי I have done ; ‘ā·śî·ṯî קְרוֹבִ֖ים you who are near , qə·rō·w·ḇîm וּדְע֥וּ acknowledge ū·ḏə·‘ū גְּבֻרָתִֽי׃ My might . ” gə·ḇu·rā·ṯî Isaiah 33:14 חַטָּאִ֔ים The sinners ḥaṭ·ṭā·’îm בְצִיּוֹן֙ in Zion ḇə·ṣî·yō·wn פָּחֲד֤וּ are afraid ; pā·ḥă·ḏū רְעָדָ֖ה trembling rə·‘ā·ḏāh אָחֲזָ֥ה grips ’ā·ḥă·zāh חֲנֵפִ֑ים the ungodly : ḥă·nê·p̄îm מִ֣י׀ “ Who mî לָ֗נוּ of us lā·nū
