Isaiah 32:11 חִרְדוּ֙ Shudder , ḥir·ḏū שַֽׁאֲנַנּ֔וֹת you ladies of leisure ; ša·’ă·nan·nō·wṯ רְגָ֖זָה tremble , rə·ḡā·zāh בֹּֽטְח֑וֹת you daughters of complacency . bō·ṭə·ḥō·wṯ פְּשֹׁ֣טָֽה Strip pə·šō·ṭāh וְעֹ֔רָה yourselves bare wə·‘ō·rāh וַחֲג֖וֹרָה and put wa·ḥă·ḡō·w·rāh עַל־ sackcloth around ‘al- חֲלָצָֽיִם׃ your waists . ḥă·lā·ṣā·yim Isaiah 32:12 סֹֽפְדִ֑ים Beat sō·p̄ə·ḏîm עַל־ - ‘al- שָׁדַ֖יִם your breasts šā·ḏa·yim עַל־ for ‘al- חֶ֕מֶד the pleasant ḥe·meḏ עַל־ . . . ‘al- שְׂדֵי־ fields , śə·ḏê- פֹּרִיָּֽה׃ for the fruitful pō·rî·yāh גֶּ֖פֶן vines , ge·p̄en Isaiah 32:13 עַ֚ל and for ‘al אַדְמַ֣ת the land ’aḏ·maṯ עַמִּ֔י of my people , ‘am·mî תַּֽעֲלֶ֑ה overgrown ta·‘ă·leh ק֥וֹץ with thorns qō·wṣ שָׁמִ֖יר and briers — šā·mîr כִּ֚י even kî עַל־ for ‘al- כָּל־ every kāl- בָּתֵּ֣י house bāt·tê מָשׂ֔וֹשׂ of merriment mā·śō·wś קִרְיָ֖ה in this city qir·yāh עַלִּיזָֽה׃ of revelry . ‘al·lî·zāh Isaiah 32:14 כִּֽי־ For kî- אַרְמ֣וֹן the palace ’ar·mō·wn נֻטָּ֔שׁ will be forsaken , nuṭ·ṭāš הֲמ֥וֹן the busy hă·mō·wn עִ֖יר city ‘îr עֻזָּ֑ב abandoned . ‘uz·zāḇ עֹ֣פֶל The hill ‘ō·p̄el וָבַ֜חַן and the watchtower wā·ḇa·ḥan הָיָ֨ה will become hā·yāh בְעַ֤ד - ḇə·‘aḏ מְעָרוֹת֙ caves mə·‘ā·rō·wṯ עַד־ forever ‘aḏ- עוֹלָ֔ם . . . — ‘ō·w·lām מְשׂ֥וֹשׂ the delight mə·śō·wś פְּרָאִ֖ים of wild donkeys pə·rā·’îm מִרְעֵ֥ה and a pasture mir·‘êh עֲדָרִֽים׃ for flocks — ‘ă·ḏā·rîm Isaiah 32:15 עַד־ until ‘aḏ- ר֖וּחַ the Spirit rū·aḥ יֵ֨עָרֶ֥ה is poured out yê·‘ā·reh עָלֵ֛ינוּ upon us ‘ā·lê·nū מִמָּר֑וֹם from on high . mim·mā·rō·wm מִדְבָּר֙ Then the desert miḏ·bār וְהָיָ֤ה will be wə·hā·yāh לַכַּרְמֶ֔ל an orchard , lak·kar·mel וְכַרְמֶל and the orchard wə·ḵar·mɛl יֵחָשֵֽׁב׃ will seem yê·ḥā·šêḇ לַיַּ֥עַר like a forest . lay·ya·‘ar Isaiah 32:16 מִשְׁפָּ֑ט Then justice miš·pāṭ וְשָׁכַ֥ן will inhabit wə·šā·ḵan בַּמִּדְבָּ֖ר the wilderness , bam·miḏ·bār וּצְדָקָ֖ה and righteousness ū·ṣə·ḏā·qāh תֵּשֵֽׁב׃ will dwell tê·šêḇ בַּכַּרְמֶ֥ל in the fertile field . bak·kar·mel Isaiah 32:17 מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה The work ma·‘ă·śêh הַצְּדָקָ֖ה of righteousness haṣ·ṣə·ḏā·qāh וְהָיָ֛ה will be wə·hā·yāh שָׁל֑וֹם peace ; šā·lō·wm וַֽעֲבֹדַת֙ the service wa·‘ă·ḇō·ḏaṯ הַצְּדָקָ֔ה of righteousness haṣ·ṣə·ḏā·qāh הַשְׁקֵ֥ט will be quiet haš·qêṭ וָבֶ֖טַח confidence wā·ḇe·ṭaḥ עַד־ forever ‘aḏ- עוֹלָֽם׃ . . . . ‘ō·w·lām Isaiah 32:18 עַמִּ֖י Then my people ‘am·mî וְיָשַׁ֥ב will dwell wə·yā·šaḇ שָׁל֑וֹם in a peaceful šā·lō·wm
