וְשִׂמְחַ֣ת will rejoice wə·śim·ḥaṯ כַּֽהוֹלֵךְ֙ like one who walks ka·hō·w·lêḵ בֶּֽחָלִ֔יל to the music of a flute , be·ḥā·lîl לָב֥וֹא going up lā·ḇō·w בְהַר־ to the mountain ḇə·har- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH , Yah·weh אֶל־ to ’el- צ֥וּר the Rock ṣūr יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl Isaiah 30:30 יְהוָ֜ה And YHWH [will cause] Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- ה֣וֹד His majestic hō·wḏ קוֹל֗וֹ voice qō·w·lōw וְהִשְׁמִ֨יעַ to be heard wə·hiš·mî·a‘ זְרוֹעוֹ֙ and His mighty arm zə·rō·w·‘ōw יַרְאֶ֔ה to be revealed , yar·’eh וְנַ֤חַת striking wə·na·ḥaṯ אַ֔ף in angry ’ap̄ בְּזַ֣עַף wrath bə·za·‘ap̄ וְלַ֖הַב with a flame wə·la·haḇ אוֹכֵלָ֑ה of consuming ’ō·w·ḵê·lāh אֵ֣שׁ fire , ’êš נֶ֥פֶץ and with cloudburst , ne·p̄eṣ וָזֶ֖רֶם storm , wā·ze·rem וְאֶ֥בֶן and hailstones wə·’e·ḇen בָּרָֽד׃ . . . . bā·rāḏ Isaiah 30:31 כִּֽי־ For kî- אַשּׁ֑וּר Assyria ’aš·šūr יֵחַ֣ת will be shattered yê·ḥaṯ מִקּ֥וֹל at the voice miq·qō·wl יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH ; Yah·weh יַכֶּֽה׃ He will strike them yak·keh בַּשֵּׁ֖בֶט with His scepter . baš·šê·ḇeṭ Isaiah 30:32 וְהָיָ֗ה And with wə·hā·yāh כֹּ֤ל every kōl מַֽעֲבַר֙ stroke ma·‘ă·ḇar מַטֵּ֣ה of the rod maṭ·ṭêh מֽוּסָדָ֔ה of punishment mū·sā·ḏāh אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh יָנִ֤יחַ brings down yā·nî·aḥ עָלָ֔יו on them , ‘ā·lāw בְּתֻפִּ֖ים the tambourines bə·ṯup·pîm וּבְכִנֹּר֑וֹת and lyres [will sound] ū·ḇə·ḵin·nō·rō·wṯ נִלְחַם־ as He battles nil·ḥam- וּבְמִלְחֲמ֥וֹת with weapons ū·ḇə·mil·ḥă·mō·wṯ תְּנוּפָ֖ה brandished . tə·nū·p̄āh בָּהּ׃ bå̄h Isaiah 30:33 כִּֽי־ For kî- תָּפְתֶּ֔ה Topheth tā·p̄ə·teh מֵֽאֶתְמוּל֙ has long mê·’eṯ·mūl עָר֤וּךְ been prepared ; ‘ā·rūḵ גַּם־ gam- הוּא it hū הוּכָ֖ן has been made ready hū·ḵān לַמֶּ֥לֶךְ for the king . lam·me·leḵ מְדֻרָתָ֗הּ Its funeral pyre mə·ḏu·rā·ṯāh הֶעְמִ֣יק is deep he‘·mîq הִרְחִ֑ב and wide , hir·ḥiḇ הַרְבֵּ֔ה with plenty of har·bêh אֵ֤שׁ fire ’êš וְעֵצִים֙ and wood . wə·‘ê·ṣîm נִשְׁמַ֤ת The breath niš·maṯ יְהוָה֙ of YHWH , Yah·weh כְּנַ֣חַל like a torrent kə·na·ḥal גָּפְרִ֔ית of burning sulfur , gā·p̄ə·rîṯ בֹּעֲרָ֖ה sets it ablaze bō·‘ă·rāh בָּֽהּ׃ס . bāh Isaiah 31:1 ה֣וֹי Woe hō·w הַיֹּרְדִ֤ים to those who go down hay·yō·rə·ḏîm מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ to Egypt miṣ·ra·yim לְעֶזְרָ֔ה for help , lə·‘ez·rāh יִשָּׁעֵ֑נוּ who rely yiš·šā·‘ê·nū עַל־ on ‘al- סוּסִ֖ים horses , sū·sîm וַיִּבְטְח֨וּ who trust way·yiḇ·ṭə·ḥū עַל־ in ‘al- רָ֗ב their abundance rāḇ רֶ֜כֶב of chariots re·ḵeḇ כִּ֣י . . . kî וְעַ֤ל and in wə·‘al מְאֹ֔ד their multitude mə·’ōḏ עָצְמ֣וּ . . . ‘ā·ṣə·mū פָּֽרָשִׁים֙ of horsemen . pā·rā·šîm כִּֽי־ . . . kî-
