אַשְׁרֵ֖י Blessed are ’aš·rê כָּל־ all kāl- ח֥וֹכֵי who wait ḥō·w·ḵê לֽוֹ׃ס for Him . lōw Isaiah 30:19 כִּי־ - kî- עַ֛ם O people ‘am בְּצִיּ֥וֹן in Zion bə·ṣî·yō·wn יֵשֵׁ֖ב who dwell yê·šêḇ בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם in Jerusalem , bî·rū·šā·lim בָּכ֣וֹ you will weep bā·ḵōw לֹֽא־ no lō- תִבְכֶּ֗ה more . ṯiḇ·keh חָנ֤וֹן He will surely ḥā·nō·wn יָחְנְךָ֙ be gracious yā·ḥə·nə·ḵā לְק֣וֹל when you cry for help lə·qō·wl זַעֲקֶ֔ךָ . . . ; za·‘ă·qe·ḵā כְּשָׁמְעָת֖וֹ when He hears , kə·šā·mə·‘ā·ṯōw עָנָֽךְ׃ He will answer you . ‘ā·nāḵ Isaiah 30:20 אֲדֹנָ֛י The Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy וְנָתַ֨ן will give wə·nā·ṯan לָכֶ֧ם you lā·ḵem לֶ֥חֶם the bread le·ḥem צָ֖ר of adversity ṣār וּמַ֣יִם and the water ū·ma·yim לָ֑חַץ of affliction , lā·ḥaṣ מוֹרֶ֔יךָ but your Teacher mō·w·re·ḵā וְלֹֽא־ will no longer wə·lō- יִכָּנֵ֥ף hide yik·kā·nêp̄ עוֹד֙ Himself — ‘ō·wḏ וְהָי֥וּ . . . wə·hā·yū עֵינֶ֖יךָ with your own eyes ‘ê·ne·ḵā רֹא֥וֹת you will see rō·’ō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מוֹרֶֽיךָ׃ [Him] . mō·w·re·ḵā Isaiah 30:21 כִּ֥י And whether kî תַאֲמִ֖ינוּ you turn to the right ṯa·’ă·mî·nū וְכִ֥י . . . wə·ḵî תַשְׂמְאִֽילוּ׃ or to the left , ṯaś·mə·’î·lū וְאָזְנֶ֙יךָ֙ your ears wə·’ā·zə·ne·ḵā תִּשְׁמַ֣עְנָה will hear tiš·ma‘·nāh דָבָ֔ר this command ḏā·ḇār מֵֽאַחֲרֶ֖יךָ behind you mê·’a·ḥă·re·ḵā לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . : lê·mōr זֶ֤ה “ This zeh הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ is the way . had·de·reḵ לְכ֣וּ Walk lə·ḵū ב֔וֹ in it . ” ḇōw Isaiah 30:22 וְטִמֵּאתֶ֗ם So you will desecrate wə·ṭim·mê·ṯem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צִפּוּי֙ your silver-plated ṣip·pui כַסְפֶּ֔ךָ . . . ḵas·pe·ḵā וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- פְּסִילֵ֣י idols pə·sî·lê אֲפֻדַּ֖ת and your gold-plated ’ă·p̄ud·daṯ זְהָבֶ֑ךָ . . . zə·hā·ḇe·ḵā מַסֵּכַ֣ת images . mas·sê·ḵaṯ תִּזְרֵם֙ You will throw them away tiz·rêm כְּמ֣וֹ like kə·mōw דָוָ֔ה menstrual cloths , ḏā·wāh תֹּ֥אמַר saying tō·mar לֽוֹ׃ to them , lōw צֵ֖א “ Be gone ! ” ṣê Isaiah 30:23 וְנָתַן֩ Then He will send wə·nā·ṯan מְטַ֨ר rain mə·ṭar זַרְעֲךָ֜ for the seed zar·‘ă·ḵā אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- תִּזְרַ֣ע you have sown tiz·ra‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֲדָמָ֗ה in the ground , hā·’ă·ḏā·māh וְלֶ֙חֶם֙ and the food wə·le·ḥem תְּבוּאַ֣ת that comes tə·ḇū·’aṯ הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה from your land hā·’ă·ḏā·māh וְהָיָ֥ה will be wə·hā·yāh דָשֵׁ֖ן rich ḏā·šên וְשָׁמֵ֑ן and plentiful . wə·šā·mên הַה֖וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֥וֹם day bay·yō·wm מִקְנֶ֛יךָ your cattle miq·ne·ḵā יִרְעֶ֥ה will graze yir·‘eh נִרְחָֽב׃ in open nir·ḥāḇ כַּ֥ר pastures . kar Isaiah 30:24 וְהָאֲלָפִ֣ים The oxen wə·hā·’ă·lā·p̄îm
