לָכֵן֙ therefore lā·ḵên קָרָ֣אתִי I have called qā·rā·ṯî לָזֹ֔את her lā·zōṯ רַ֥הַב Rahab ra·haḇ הֵ֖ם Who hêm שָֽׁבֶת׃ Sits Still . šā·ḇeṯ Isaiah 30:8 בּ֣וֹא Go bō·w עַתָּ֗ה now , ‘at·tāh כָתְבָ֥הּ write ḵā·ṯə·ḇāh עַל־ it on ‘al- ל֛וּחַ a tablet lū·aḥ אִתָּ֖ם in their presence ’it·tām חֻקָּ֑הּ and inscribe ḥuq·qāh וְעַל־ it on wə·‘al- סֵ֣פֶר a scroll ; sê·p̄er וּתְהִי֙ it will be ū·ṯə·hî לְי֣וֹם for the days lə·yō·wm אַחֲר֔וֹן to come , ’a·ḥă·rō·wn לָעַ֖ד a witness lā·‘aḏ עַד־ forever ‘aḏ- עוֹלָֽם׃ and ever . ‘ō·w·lām Isaiah 30:9 כִּ֣י - kî ה֔וּא These hū מְרִי֙ are rebellious mə·rî עַ֤ם people , ‘am כֶּחָשִׁ֑ים deceitful ke·ḥā·šîm בָּנִ֖ים children , bā·nîm בָּנִ֕ים children bā·nîm לֹֽא־ vvv lō- אָב֥וּ unwilling ’ā·ḇū שְׁמ֖וֹעַ to obey šə·mō·w·a‘ יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH’s Yah·weh תּוֹרַ֥ת instruction . tō·w·raṯ Isaiah 30:10 אֲשֶׁ֨ר They ’ă·šer אָמְר֤וּ say ’ā·mə·rū לָֽרֹאִים֙ to the seers , lā·rō·’îm לֹ֣א “ Stop lō תִרְא֔וּ seeing visions ! ” ṯir·’ū וְלַ֣חֹזִ֔ים and to the prophets , wə·la·ḥō·zîm לֹ֥א “ Do not lō תֶחֱזוּ־ prophesy ṯe·ḥĕ·zū- לָ֖נוּ to us lā·nū נְכֹח֑וֹת the truth ! nə·ḵō·ḥō·wṯ דַּבְּרוּ־ Speak dab·bə·rū- לָ֣נוּ to us lā·nū חֲלָק֔וֹת pleasant words ; ḥă·lā·qō·wṯ חֲז֖וּ prophesy ḥă·zū מַהֲתַלּֽוֹת׃ illusions . ma·hă·ṯal·lō·wṯ Isaiah 30:11 ס֚וּרוּ Get out sū·rū מִנֵּי־ of min·nê- דֶ֔רֶךְ the way ; ḏe·reḵ הַטּ֖וּ turn off haṭ·ṭū מִנֵּי־ . . . min·nê- אֹ֑רַח the road . ’ō·raḥ הַשְׁבִּ֥יתוּ Rid us haš·bî·ṯū מִפָּנֵ֖ינוּ of mip·pā·nê·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- קְד֥וֹשׁ the Holy qə·ḏō·wōš יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ס One of Israel ! ” yiś·rā·’êl Isaiah 30:12 לָכֵ֗ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּ֤ה this is what kōh קְד֣וֹשׁ the Holy qə·ḏō·wōš יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל One of Israel yiś·rā·’êl אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar יַ֥עַן “ Because ya·‘an מָֽאָסְכֶ֖ם you have rejected mā·’ā·sə·ḵem הַזֶּ֑ה this haz·zeh בַּדָּבָ֣ר message , bad·dā·ḇār וַֽתִּבְטְחוּ֙ trusting wat·tiḇ·ṭə·ḥū בְּעֹ֣שֶׁק in oppression bə·‘ō·šeq וַתִּֽשָּׁעֲנ֖וּ and relying wat·tiš·šā·‘ă·nū וְנָל֔וֹז on deceit wə·nā·lō·wz עָלָֽיו׃ - , ‘ā·lāw Isaiah 30:13 לָכֵ֗ן - lā·ḵên הַזֶּ֔ה this haz·zeh הֶעָוֺ֣ן iniquity he·‘ā·wōn יִֽהְיֶ֤ה of yours yih·yeh לָכֶם֙ is like lā·ḵem כְּפֶ֣רֶץ a breach kə·p̄e·reṣ נֹפֵ֔ל about to fail , nō·p̄êl נִבְעֶ֖ה a bulge niḇ·‘eh נִשְׂגָּבָ֑ה in a high niś·gā·ḇāh
