וְהָיְתָ֤הand there will bewə·hā·yə·ṯāh
תַֽאֲנִיָּה֙mourningṯa·’ă·nî·yāh
וַֽאֲנִיָּ֔הand lamentation ;wa·’ă·nî·yāh
וְהָ֥יְתָהshe will bewə·hā·yə·ṯāh
כַּאֲרִיאֵֽל׃like an altar hearthka·’ă·rî·’êl
לִּ֖יbefore Me .
Isaiah 29:3וְחָנִ֥יתִיI will campwə·ḥā·nî·ṯî
כַדּ֖וּרin a circleḵad·dūr
עָלָ֑יִךְaround you ;‘ā·lā·yiḵ
וְצַרְתִּ֤יI will besiegewə·ṣar·tî
עָלַ֙יִךְ֙you‘ā·la·yiḵ
מֻצָּ֔בwith towersmuṣ·ṣāḇ
וַהֲקִֽימֹתִ֥יand set upwa·hă·qî·mō·ṯî
מְצֻרֹֽת׃siege worksmə·ṣu·rōṯ
עָלַ֖יִךְagainst you .‘ā·la·yiḵ
Isaiah 29:4וְשָׁפַלְתְּ֙ You will be brought low , wə·šā·p̄alt
תְּדַבֵּ֔רִיyou will speaktə·ḏab·bê·rî
מֵאֶ֣רֶץ from the ground , mê·’e·reṣ
וּמֵֽעָפָ֖רand out of the dustū·mê·‘ā·p̄ār
אִמְרָתֵ֑ךְyour words’im·rā·ṯêḵ
תִּשַּׁ֣חwill be muffled .tiš·šaḥ
קוֹלֵ֔ךְYour voiceqō·w·lêḵ
וְֽ֠הָיָהwill bewə·hā·yāh
כְּא֤וֹבlike a spiritkə·’ō·wḇ
מֵאֶ֙רֶץ֙from the ground ;mê·’e·reṣ
אִמְרָתֵ֥ךְyour speech’im·rā·ṯêḵ
תְּצַפְצֵֽף׃will whispertə·ṣap̄·ṣêp̄
וּמֵעָפָ֖רout of the dust .ū·mê·‘ā·p̄ār

זָרָ֑יִךְfoeszā·rā·yiḵ
וְהָיָ֛הwill bewə·hā·yāh
דַּ֖קlike finedaq
כְּאָבָ֥ק dust , kə·’ā·ḇāq
הֲמ֣וֹןthe multitudehă·mō·wn
עָֽרִיצִ֔יםof the ruthless‘ā·rî·ṣîm
וְהָיָ֖ה. . .wə·hā·yāh
עֹבֵר֙like blowing‘ō·ḇêr
וּכְמֹ֤ץchaff .ū·ḵə·mōṣ
פִּתְאֹֽם׃ Then suddenly , piṯ·’ōm
לְפֶ֥תַע in an instant , lə·p̄e·ṯa‘
Isaiah 29:6תִּפָּקֵ֔דyou will be visitedtip·pā·qêḏ
מֵעִ֨םbymê·‘im
יְהוָ֤הYHWHYah·weh
צְבָאוֹת֙of Hostsṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ
בְּרַ֥עַםwith thunderbə·ra·‘am
וּבְרַ֖עַשׁand earthquakeū·ḇə·ra·‘aš
גָּד֑וֹלand loudgā·ḏō·wl
וְק֣וֹל noise , wə·qō·wl
סוּפָה֙with windstormsū·p̄āh
וּסְעָרָ֔הand tempestū·sə·‘ā·rāh
אוֹכֵלָֽה׃and consuming’ō·w·ḵê·lāh
וְלַ֖הַבflamewə·la·haḇ
אֵ֥שׁof fire .’êš
Isaiah 29:7כָּל־Allkāl-
הֲמוֹן֙the manyhă·mō·wn
הַגּוֹיִ֔םnationshag·gō·w·yim
הַצֹּבְאִ֖יםgoing out to battlehaṣ·ṣō·ḇə·’îm
עַל־against‘al-
אֲרִיאֵ֑לAriel —’ă·rî·’êl
וְכָל־even allwə·ḵāl
צֹבֶ֙יהָ֙ who war against her , ṣō·ḇe·hā
וּמְצֹ֣דָתָ֔הּlaying siegeū·mə·ṣō·ḏā·ṯāh
וְהַמְּצִיקִ֖יםand attackingwə·ham·mə·ṣî·qîm
לָֽהּ׃her —lāh
וְהָיָ֗הwill bewə·hā·yāh
כַּֽחֲלוֹם֙ like a dream , ka·ḥă·lō·wm
חֲז֣וֹןlike a visionḥă·zō·wn
לַ֔יְלָה in the night , lay·lāh
