עִ֖ם despite ‘im אָרְבּ֥וֹת the skill ’ā·rə·bō·wṯ יָדָֽיו׃ of his hands . yā·ḏāw Isaiah 25:12 מִשְׂגַּ֣ב The high-walled miś·gaḇ חוֹמֹתֶ֗יךָ . . . ḥō·w·mō·ṯe·ḵā וּמִבְצַ֞ר fortress ū·miḇ·ṣar הֵשַׁ֥ח will be brought down , hê·šaḥ הִשְׁפִּ֛יל . . . hiš·pîl הִגִּ֥יעַ cast hig·gî·a‘ לָאָ֖רֶץ to the ground , lā·’ā·reṣ עַד־ into ‘aḏ- עָפָֽר׃ס the dust . ‘ā·p̄ār Isaiah 26:1 הַה֔וּא In that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm הַזֶּ֖ה this haz·zeh הַשִּׁיר־ song haš·šîr- יוּשַׁ֥ר will be sung yū·šar בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah : yə·hū·ḏāh לָ֔נוּ We have lā·nū עָז־ a strong ‘āz- עִ֣יר city ; ‘îr יְשׁוּעָ֥ה salvation yə·šū·‘āh יָשִׁ֖ית is established yā·šîṯ חוֹמ֥וֹת as its walls ḥō·w·mō·wṯ וָחֵֽל׃ and ramparts . wā·ḥêl Isaiah 26:2 פִּתְח֖וּ Open piṯ·ḥū שְׁעָרִ֑ים the gates šə·‘ā·rîm צַדִּ֖יק so a righteous ṣad·dîq גוֹי־ nation ḡō·w- וְיָבֹ֥א may enter — wə·yā·ḇō שֹׁמֵ֥ר one that remains šō·mêr אֱמֻנִֽים׃ faithful . ’ĕ·mu·nîm Isaiah 26:3 תִּצֹּ֖ר You will keep tiṣ·ṣōr שָׁל֣וֹם׀ in perfect šā·lō·wm שָׁל֑וֹם peace šā·lō·wm סָמ֔וּךְ the steadfast sā·mūḵ יֵ֣צֶר of mind , yê·ṣer כִּ֥י because kî בָּטֽוּחַ׃ he trusts bā·ṭū·aḥ בְךָ֖ in You . ḇə·ḵā Isaiah 26:4 בִּטְח֥וּ Trust biṭ·ḥū בַֽיהוָ֖ה in YHWH Yah·weh עֲדֵי־ forever ‘ă·ḏê- עַ֑ד . . . , ‘aḏ כִּ֚י because kî בְּיָ֣הּ GOD bə·yāh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh צ֖וּר [is] the Rock ṣūr עוֹלָמִֽים׃ eternal . ‘ō·w·lā·mîm Isaiah 26:5 כִּ֤י For kî הֵשַׁח֙ He has humbled hê·šaḥ יֹשְׁבֵ֣י those who dwell yō·šə·ḇê מָר֔וֹם on high ; mā·rō·wm יַשְׁפִּילֶ֤נָּה He lays yaš·pî·len·nāh נִשְׂגָּבָ֑ה the lofty niś·gā·ḇāh קִרְיָ֖ה city {low} . qir·yāh יַשְׁפִּילָהּ֙ He brings it down yaš·pî·lāh עַד־ to ‘aḏ- אֶ֔רֶץ the ground ; ’e·reṣ יַגִּיעֶ֖נָּה He casts yag·gî·‘en·nāh עַד־ it into ‘aḏ- עָפָֽר׃ the dust . ‘ā·p̄ār Isaiah 26:6 רָ֑גֶל Feet rā·ḡel תִּרְמְסֶ֖נָּה trample it down — tir·mə·sen·nāh רַגְלֵ֥י the feet raḡ·lê עָנִ֖י of the oppressed , ‘ā·nî פַּעֲמֵ֥י the steps pa·‘ă·mê דַלִּֽים׃ of the poor . ḏal·lîm Isaiah 26:7 אֹ֥רַח The path ’ō·raḥ לַצַּדִּ֖יק of the righteous laṣ·ṣad·dîq מֵֽישָׁרִ֑ים is level ; mê·šā·rîm תְּפַלֵּֽס׃ You clear tə·p̄al·lês צַדִּ֖יק a straight ṣad·dîq מַעְגַּ֥ל path ma‘·gal יָשָׁ֕ר for the upright . yā·šār
