רָזִי־ “ I am wasting away rā·zî- לִ֥י ! lî רָֽזִי־ I am wasting away rā·zî- לִ֖י ! lî א֣וֹי Woe ’ō·w לִ֑י is me . ” lî בֹּגְדִ֣ים The treacherous bō·ḡə·ḏîm בָּגָ֔דוּ betray ; bā·ḡā·ḏū בּוֹגְדִ֖ים the treacherous bō·wḡ·ḏîm וּבֶ֥גֶד deal in ū·ḇe·ḡeḏ בָּגָֽדוּ׃ treachery . bā·ḡā·ḏū Isaiah 24:17 פַּ֥חַד Terror pa·ḥaḏ וָפַ֖חַת and pit wā·p̄a·ḥaṯ וָפָ֑ח and snare wā·p̄āḥ עָלֶ֖יךָ await you , ‘ā·le·ḵā יוֹשֵׁ֥ב O dweller yō·wō·šêḇ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Isaiah 24:18 וְֽ֠הָיָה - wə·hā·yāh הַנָּ֞ס Whoever flees han·nās מִקּ֤וֹל the sound miq·qō·wl הַפַּ֙חַד֙ of panic hap·pa·ḥaḏ יִפֹּ֣ל will fall yip·pōl אֶל־ into ’el- הַפַּ֔חַת the pit , hap·pa·ḥaṯ וְהָֽעוֹלֶה֙ and whoever climbs wə·hā·‘ō·w·leh מִתּ֣וֹךְ from mit·tō·wḵ הַפַּ֔חַת the pit hap·pa·ḥaṯ יִלָּכֵ֖ד will be caught yil·lā·ḵêḏ בַּפָּ֑ח in the snare . bap·pāḥ כִּֽי־ For kî- אֲרֻבּ֤וֹת the windows ’ă·rub·bō·wṯ מִמָּרוֹם֙ of heaven mim·mā·rō·wm נִפְתָּ֔חוּ are open , nip̄·tā·ḥū מ֥וֹסְדֵי and the foundations mō·ws·ḏê אָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth ’ā·reṣ וַֽיִּרְעֲשׁ֖וּ are shaken . way·yir·‘ă·šū Isaiah 24:19 הָאָ֑רֶץ The earth hā·’ā·reṣ רֹ֥עָה is utterly rō·‘āh הִֽתְרֹעֲעָ֖ה broken apart , hiṯ·rō·‘ă·‘āh אֶ֔רֶץ the earth ’e·reṣ פּ֤וֹר is split open pō·wr הִֽתְפּוֹרְרָה֙ . . . , hiṯ·pō·wr·rāh אָֽרֶץ׃ the earth ’ā·reṣ מ֥וֹט is shaken mō·wṭ הִֽתְמוֹטְטָ֖ה violently . hiṯ·mō·wṭ·ṭāh Isaiah 24:20 אֶ֙רֶץ֙ The earth ’e·reṣ נ֣וֹעַ staggers nō·w·a‘ תָּנ֤וּעַ . . . tā·nū·a‘ כַּשִּׁכּ֔וֹר like a drunkard kaš·šik·kō·wr וְהִֽתְנוֹדְדָ֖ה and sways wə·hiṯ·nō·wḏ·ḏāh כַּמְּלוּנָ֑ה like a shack . kam·mə·lū·nāh פִּשְׁעָ֔הּ Earth’s rebellion piš·‘āh וְכָבַ֤ד weighs it down , wə·ḵā·ḇaḏ עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ . . . ‘ā·le·hā וְנָפְלָ֖ה and it falls , wə·nā·p̄ə·lāh וְלֹא־ never wə·lō- קֽוּם׃ס to rise qūm תֹסִ֥יף again . ṯō·sîp̄ Isaiah 24:21 וְהָיָה֙ - wə·hā·yāh הַה֔וּא In that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh יִפְקֹ֧ד will punish yip̄·qōḏ עַל־ ‘al- צְבָ֥א the host ṣə·ḇā הַמָּר֖וֹם of heaven ham·mā·rō·wm בַּמָּר֑וֹם above bam·mā·rō·wm וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- מַלְכֵ֥י and the kings mal·ḵê הָאֲדָמָ֖ה of the earth hā·’ă·ḏā·māh עַל־ below ‘al- הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ . . . . hā·’ă·ḏā·māh Isaiah 24:22 וְאֻסְּפ֨וּ They will be gathered wə·’us·sə·p̄ū אֲסֵפָ֤ה together ’ă·sê·p̄āh אַסִּיר֙ like prisoners ’as·sîr עַל־ in ‘al- בּ֔וֹר a pit . bō·wr וְסֻגְּר֖וּ They will be confined wə·sug·gə·rū עַל־ to ‘al- מַסְגֵּ֑ר a dungeon mas·gêr יִפָּקֵֽדוּ׃ and punished yip·pā·qê·ḏū וּמֵרֹ֥ב after ū·mê·rōḇ
