Isaiah 22:12 הַה֑וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm אֲדֹנָ֧י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ וַיִּקְרָ֗א called way·yiq·rā לִבְכִי֙ for weeping liḇ·ḵî וּלְמִסְפֵּ֔ד and wailing , ū·lə·mis·pêḏ וּלְקָרְחָ֖ה for shaven heads ū·lə·qā·rə·ḥāh וְלַחֲגֹ֥ר and the wearing wə·la·ḥă·ḡōr שָֽׂק׃ of sackcloth . śāq Isaiah 22:13 וְהִנֵּ֣ה׀ But look , wə·hin·nêh שָׂשׂ֣וֹן there is joy śā·śō·wn וְשִׂמְחָ֗ה and gladness , wə·śim·ḥāh הָרֹ֤ג׀ butchering hā·rōḡ בָּקָר֙ of cattle bā·qār וְשָׁחֹ֣ט and slaughtering wə·šā·ḥōṭ צֹ֔אן of sheep , ṣōn אָכֹ֥ל eating ’ā·ḵōl בָּשָׂ֖ר of meat bā·śār וְשָׁת֣וֹת and drinking wə·šā·ṯō·wṯ יָ֑יִן of wine : yā·yin אָכ֣וֹל “ Let us eat ’ā·ḵō·wl וְשָׁת֔וֹ and drink , wə·šā·ṯōw כִּ֥י for kî מָחָ֖ר tomorrow mā·ḥār נָמֽוּת׃ we die ! ” nā·mūṯ Isaiah 22:14 יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֑וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ וְנִגְלָ֥ה has revealed wə·niḡ·lāh בְאָזְנָ֖י in my hearing : ḇə·’ā·zə·nāy עַד־ “ Until ‘aḏ- לָכֶם֙ your lā·ḵem תְּמֻת֔וּן dying day , tə·mu·ṯūn הַזֶּ֤ה this haz·zeh הֶעָוֺ֨ן sin he·‘ā·wōn אִם־ of yours will never ’im- יְ֠כֻפַּר be atoned for , ” yə·ḵup·par אָמַ֛ר says ’ā·mar אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאֽוֹת׃פ of Hosts . ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Isaiah 22:15 כֹּ֥ה This is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֑וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַ֛ר says : ’ā·mar לֶךְ־ “ Go , leḵ- בֹּא֙ [say] bō אֶל־ to ’el- שֶׁבְנָ֖א Shebna , šeḇ·nā הַזֶּ֔ה the haz·zeh הַסֹּכֵ֣ן steward has·sō·ḵên אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer עַל־ - ‘al- עַל־ in charge of ‘al- הַבָּֽיִת׃ the palace : hab·bā·yiṯ Isaiah 22:16 מַה־ What mah- לְּךָ֥ are you lə·ḵā פֹה֙ doing here , p̄ōh וּמִ֣י and who ū·mî לְךָ֣ lə·ḵā פֹ֔ה [authorized] you p̄ōh כִּֽי־ . . . kî- חָצַ֧בְתָּ to carve out ḥā·ṣaḇ·tā קָ֑בֶר a tomb qā·ḇer לְּךָ֛ for yourself lə·ḵā פֹּ֖ה here — pōh חֹצְבִ֤י to chisel ḥō·ṣə·ḇî קִבְר֔וֹ your tomb qiḇ·rōw מָרוֹם֙ in the height mā·rō·wm חֹקְקִ֥י and cut ḥō·qə·qî מִשְׁכָּ֥ן your resting place miš·kān לֽוֹ׃ lōw בַסֶּ֖לַע in the rock ? ḇas·se·la‘ Isaiah 22:17 הִנֵּ֤ה Look , hin·nêh גָּ֑בֶר O mighty man ! gā·ḇer יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh מְטַלְטֶלְךָ֔ is about to shake you violently mə·ṭal·ṭel·ḵā טַלְטֵלָ֖ה . . . . ṭal·ṭê·lāh וְעֹטְךָ֖ He will take hold wə·‘ō·ṭə·ḵā עָטֹֽה׃ of you , ‘ā·ṭōh
