וְאִ֣ישׁ [neighbor] wə·’îš בְּרֵעֵ֑הוּ against neighbor , bə·rê·‘ê·hū עִ֣יר city ‘îr בְּעִ֔יר against city , bə·‘îr מַמְלָכָ֖ה [and] kingdom mam·lā·ḵāh בְּמַמְלָכָֽה׃ against kingdom . bə·mam·lā·ḵāh Isaiah 19:3 רֽוּחַ־ Then the spirit rū·aḥ- מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ of the Egyptians miṣ·ra·yim וְנָבְקָ֤ה will be emptied out wə·nā·ḇə·qāh בְּקִרְבּ֔וֹ from among them , bə·qir·bōw אֲבַלֵּ֑עַ and I will frustrate ’ă·ḇal·lê·a‘ וַעֲצָת֖וֹ their plans , wa·‘ă·ṣā·ṯōw וְדָרְשׁ֤וּ so that they will resort wə·ḏā·rə·šū אֶל־ to ’el- הָֽאֱלִילִים֙ idols hā·’ĕ·lî·lîm וְאֶל־ and wə·’el- הָ֣אִטִּ֔ים spirits of the dead , hā·’iṭ·ṭîm וְאֶל־ . . . wə·’el- הָאֹב֖וֹת to mediums hā·’ō·ḇō·wṯ וְאֶל־ and wə·’el- הַיִּדְּעֹנִֽים׃ spiritists . hay·yid·də·‘ō·nîm Isaiah 19:4 וְסִכַּרְתִּי֙ I will deliver wə·sik·kar·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִצְרַ֔יִם the Egyptians miṣ·ra·yim בְּיַ֖ד into the hands bə·yaḏ קָשֶׁ֑ה of harsh qā·šeh אֲדֹנִ֣ים masters , ’ă·ḏō·nîm עַז֙ and a fierce ‘az וּמֶ֤לֶךְ king ū·me·leḵ יִמְשָׁל־ will rule yim·šāl- בָּ֔ם over them , ” bām נְאֻ֥ם declares nə·’um הָאָד֖וֹן the Lord hā·’ā·ḏō·wn יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאֽוֹת׃ of Hosts . ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Isaiah 19:5 מַ֖יִם The waters ma·yim מֵֽהַיָּ֑ם of the [Nile] mê·hay·yām וְיָבֵֽשׁ׃ will dry up , wə·yā·ḇêš וְנָהָ֖ר and the riverbed wə·nā·hār יֶחֱרַ֥ב will be parched ye·ḥĕ·raḇ וְנִשְּׁתוּ־ and empty . wə·niš·šə·ṯū- Isaiah 19:6 נְהָר֔וֹת The canals nə·hā·rō·wṯ וְהֶאֶזְנִ֣יחוּ will stink ; wə·he·’ez·nî·ḥū יְאֹרֵ֣י the streams yə·’ō·rê מָצ֑וֹר of Egypt mā·ṣō·wr דָּלֲל֥וּ will trickle dā·lă·lū וְחָרְב֖וּ and dry up ; wə·ḥā·rə·ḇū קָנֶ֥ה the reeds qā·neh וָס֖וּף and rushes wā·sūp̄ קָמֵֽלוּ׃ will wither . qā·mê·lū Isaiah 19:7 עָר֥וֹת The bulrushes ‘ā·rō·wṯ עַל־ by ‘al- יְא֖וֹר the Nile , yə·’ō·wr עַל־ by ‘al- פִּ֣י the mouth pî יְא֑וֹר of the river , yə·’ō·wr וְכֹל֙ and all wə·ḵōl מִזְרַ֣ע the fields sown miz·ra‘ יְא֔וֹר along the Nile , yə·’ō·wr יִיבַ֥שׁ will wither , yî·ḇaš נִדַּ֖ף blow away , nid·dap̄ וְאֵינֶֽנּוּ׃ and be no [more] . wə·’ê·nen·nū Isaiah 19:8 הַדַּיָּגִ֔ים Then the fishermen had·day·yā·ḡîm וְאָנוּ֙ will mourn , wə·’ā·nū כָּל־ all kāl- מַשְׁלִיכֵ֥י who cast maš·lî·ḵê חַכָּ֑ה a hook ḥak·kāh בַיְא֖וֹר into the Nile ḇay·’ō·wr וְאָ֣בְל֔וּ will lament , wə·’ā·ḇə·lū וּפֹרְשֵׂ֥י and those who spread ū·p̄ō·rə·śê מִכְמֹ֛רֶת nets miḵ·mō·reṯ עַל־ on ‘al- פְּנֵי־ . . . pə·nê- מַ֖יִם the waters ma·yim אֻמְלָֽלוּ׃ will pine away . ’um·lā·lū Isaiah 19:9 עֹבְדֵ֥י The workers ‘ō·ḇə·ḏê פִשְׁתִּ֖ים in flax p̄iš·tîm וּבֹ֛שׁוּ will be dismayed , ū·ḇō·šū וְאֹרְגִ֖ים and the weavers wə·’ō·rə·ḡîm
