בְּחֹ֥ם in the heat bə·ḥōm קָצִֽיר׃ of harvest . ” qā·ṣîr Isaiah 18:5 כִּֽי־ For kî- לִפְנֵ֤י before lip̄·nê קָצִיר֙ the harvest , qā·ṣîr פֶּ֔רַח when the blossom pe·raḥ כְּתָם־ is gone kə·ṯām- נִצָּ֑ה and the flower niṣ·ṣāh יִֽהְיֶ֣ה becomes yih·yeh גֹּמֵ֖ל a ripening gō·mêl וּבֹ֥סֶר grape , ū·ḇō·ser וְכָרַ֤ת He will cut off wə·ḵā·raṯ הַזַּלְזַלִּים֙ the shoots haz·zal·zal·lîm בַּמַּזְמֵר֔וֹת with a pruning knife bam·maz·mê·rō·wṯ וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הֵתַֽז׃ remove hê·ṯaz הֵסִ֥יר and discard hê·sîr הַנְּטִישׁ֖וֹת the branches . han·nə·ṭî·šō·wṯ Isaiah 18:6 יַחְדָּו֙ They will all yaḥ·dāw יֵעָזְב֤וּ be left yê·‘ā·zə·ḇū הָרִ֔ים to the mountain hā·rîm לְעֵ֣יט birds of prey , lə·‘êṭ וּֽלְבֶהֱמַ֖ת and to the beasts ū·lə·ḇe·hĕ·maṯ הָאָ֑רֶץ of the land . hā·’ā·reṣ הָעַ֔יִט The birds hā·‘a·yiṭ וְקָ֤ץ will feed on them in summer wə·qāṣ עָלָיו֙ . . . , ‘ā·lāw וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl בֶּהֱמַ֥ת the wild animals be·hĕ·maṯ הָאָ֖רֶץ . . . hā·’ā·reṣ תֶּחֱרָֽף׃ in winter te·ḥĕ·rāp̄ עָלָ֥יו - . ‘ā·lāw Isaiah 18:7 הַהִ֨יא At that ha·hî בָּעֵת֩ time bā·‘êṯ שַׁ֜י gifts šay יֽוּבַל־ will be brought yū·ḇal- לַיהוָ֣ה to YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֗וֹת of Hosts — ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ עַ֚ם from a people ‘am מְמֻשָּׁ֣ךְ tall mə·muš·šāḵ וּמוֹרָ֔ט and smooth-skinned , ū·mō·w·rāṭ וּמֵעַ֥ם from a people ū·mê·‘am מִן־ widely min- נוֹרָ֖א feared nō·w·rā ה֣וּא . . . , hū וָהָ֑לְאָה . . . wā·hā·lə·’āh קָ֣ו from a powerful qāw גּ֣וֹי׀ nation gō·w קַו־ qaw- וּמְבוּסָ֗ה of strange speech , ū·mə·ḇū·sāh אֲשֶׁ֨ר whose ’ă·šer אַרְצ֔וֹ land ’ar·ṣōw בָּזְא֤וּ is divided bā·zə·’ū נְהָרִים֙ by rivers — nə·hā·rîm אֶל־ to ’el- הַר־ Mount har- צִיּֽוֹן׃ס Zion , ṣî·yō·wn מְק֛וֹם the place mə·qō·wm שֵׁם־ of the Name šêm- יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts . ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ Isaiah 19:1 מַשָּׂ֖א [This is] the burden maś·śā מִצְרָ֑יִם against Egypt : miṣ·rā·yim הִנֵּ֨ה Behold , hin·nêh יְהוָ֜ה YHWH Yah·weh רֹכֵ֨ב rides rō·ḵêḇ עַל־ on ‘al- קַל֙ a swift qal עָ֥ב cloud ; ‘āḇ וּבָ֣א He is coming ū·ḇā מִצְרַ֔יִם to Egypt . miṣ·ra·yim אֱלִילֵ֤י The idols ’ĕ·lî·lê מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim וְנָע֞וּ will tremble wə·nā·‘ū מִפָּנָ֔יו before Him , mip·pā·nāw וּלְבַ֥ב and the hearts ū·lə·ḇaḇ מִצְרַ֖יִם of the Egyptians miṣ·ra·yim יִמַּ֥ס will melt yim·mas בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃ within them . bə·qir·bōw Isaiah 19:2 וְסִכְסַכְתִּ֤י “ So I will incite wə·siḵ·saḵ·tî מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ Egyptian miṣ·ra·yim בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם against Egyptian ; bə·miṣ·ra·yim אִישׁ־ [brother] ’îš- וְנִלְחֲמ֥וּ will fight wə·nil·ḥă·mū בְּאָחִ֖יו against brother , bə·’ā·ḥîw
