גַּאֲוָת֧וֹ [and] conceit , ga·’ă·wā·ṯōw
וְעֶבְרָת֖וֹhis overflowingwə·‘eḇ·rā·ṯōw
וּגְאוֹנ֛וֹarrogance .ū·ḡə·’ō·w·nōw

בַּעֲלֵ֤יThe rulersba·‘ă·lê
גוֹיִם֙of the nationsḡō·w·yim
הָלְמ֣וּhave trampledhā·lə·mū
שְׂרוּקֶּ֔יהָ its choicest vines , śə·rūq·qe·hā
נָגָ֖עוּwhich had reachednā·ḡā·‘ū
עַד־as‘aḏ-
יַעְזֵ֥רfar as Jazerya‘·zêr
תָּ֣עוּand spreadtā·‘ū
מִדְבָּ֑רtoward the desert .miḏ·bār
שְׁלֻ֣חוֹתֶ֔יהָTheir shootsšə·lu·ḥō·w·ṯe·hā
נִטְּשׁ֖וּhad spread outniṭ·ṭə·šū
עָ֥בְרוּand passed over‘ā·ḇə·rū
