Isaiah 14:11 גְּאוֹנֶ֖ךָ Your pomp ḡə·’ō·w·ne·ḵā הוּרַ֥ד has been brought down hū·raḏ שְׁא֛וֹל to Sheol , šə·’ō·wl הֶמְיַ֣ת along with the music hem·yaṯ נְבָלֶ֑יךָ of your harps . nə·ḇā·le·ḵā רִמָּ֔ה Maggots rim·māh יֻצַּ֣ע are your bed yuṣ·ṣa‘ תַּחְתֶּ֙יךָ֙ . . . taḥ·te·ḵā תּוֹלֵעָֽה׃ and worms tō·w·lê·‘āh וּמְכַסֶּ֖יךָ your blanket . ū·mə·ḵas·se·ḵā Isaiah 14:12 אֵ֛יךְ How ’êḵ נָפַ֥לְתָּ you have fallen nā·p̄al·tā מִשָּׁמַ֖יִם from heaven , miš·šā·ma·yim הֵילֵ֣ל O day star , hê·lêl בֶּן־ son ben- שָׁ֑חַר of the dawn ! šā·ḥar נִגְדַּ֣עְתָּ You have been cut down niḡ·da‘·tā לָאָ֔רֶץ to the ground , lā·’ā·reṣ חוֹלֵ֖שׁ O destroyer ḥō·w·lêš עַל־ of ‘al- גּוֹיִֽם׃ nations . gō·w·yim Isaiah 14:13 וְאַתָּ֞ה You wə·’at·tāh אָמַ֤רְתָּ said ’ā·mar·tā בִֽלְבָבְךָ֙ in your heart : ḇil·ḇā·ḇə·ḵā אֶֽעֱלֶ֔ה “ I will ascend ’e·‘ĕ·leh הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם to the heavens ; haš·šā·ma·yim אָרִ֣ים I will raise ’ā·rîm כִּסְאִ֑י my throne kis·’î מִמַּ֥עַל above mim·ma·‘al לְכֽוֹכְבֵי־ the stars lə·ḵō·wḵ·ḇê- אֵ֖ל of God . ’êl וְאֵשֵׁ֥ב I will sit wə·’ê·šêḇ בְּהַר־ on the mount bə·har- מוֹעֵ֖ד of assembly , mō·w·‘êḏ בְּיַרְכְּתֵ֥י in the far reaches bə·yar·kə·ṯê צָפֽוֹן׃ of the north . ṣā·p̄ō·wn Isaiah 14:14 אֶעֱלֶ֖ה I will ascend ’e·‘ĕ·leh עַל־ above ‘al- בָּ֣מֳתֵי the tops bā·mo·ṯê עָ֑ב of the clouds ; ‘āḇ אֶדַּמֶּ֖ה I will make myself like ’ed·dam·meh לְעֶלְיֽוֹן׃ the Most High . ” lə·‘el·yō·wn Isaiah 14:15 אַ֧ךְ But ’aḵ תּוּרָ֖ד you will be brought down tū·rāḏ אֶל־ to ’el- שְׁא֛וֹל Sheol , šə·’ō·wl אֶל־ to ’el- יַרְכְּתֵי־ the lowest depths yar·kə·ṯê- בֽוֹר׃ of the Pit . ḇō·wr Isaiah 14:16 רֹאֶ֙יךָ֙ Those who see you rō·’e·ḵā יַשְׁגִּ֔יחוּ will stare yaš·gî·ḥū אֵלֶ֣יךָ - ; ’ê·le·ḵā יִתְבּוֹנָ֑נוּ they will ponder yiṯ·bō·w·nā·nū אֵלֶ֖יךָ your fate : ’ê·le·ḵā הֲזֶ֤ה “ Is this hă·zeh הָאִישׁ֙ the man hā·’îš מַרְגִּ֣יז who shook mar·gîz הָאָ֔רֶץ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ מַמְלָכֽוֹת׃ [and] made the kingdoms mam·lā·ḵō·wṯ מַרְעִ֖ישׁ tremble , mar·‘îš Isaiah 14:17 שָׂ֥ם who turned śām תֵּבֵ֛ל the world tê·ḇêl כַּמִּדְבָּ֖ר into a desert kam·miḏ·bār הָרָ֑ס and destroyed hā·rās וְעָרָ֣יו its cities , wə·‘ā·rāw לֹא־ who refused lō- פָ֥תַח to let p̄ā·ṯaḥ אֲסִירָ֖יו the captives ’ă·sî·rāw בָּֽיְתָה׃ return to their homes ? ” bā·yə·ṯāh Isaiah 14:18 כָּל־ All kāl- מַלְכֵ֥י the kings mal·ḵê גוֹיִ֖ם of the nations ḡō·w·yim כֻּלָּ֑ם . . . kul·lām שָׁכְב֥וּ lie šā·ḵə·ḇū בְכָב֖וֹד in state , ḇə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ אִ֥ישׁ each ’îš
