אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנֵי־ the sons bə·nê- קֶ֑דֶם of the east . qe·ḏem מִשְׁל֣וֹח They will lay miš·lōḥ יָדָ֔ם their hands yā·ḏām אֱד֤וֹם on Edom ’ĕ·ḏō·wm וּמוֹאָב֙ and Moab , ū·mō·w·’āḇ וּבְנֵ֥י and the Ammonites ū·ḇə·nê עַמּ֖וֹן . . . ‘am·mō·wn מִשְׁמַעְתָּֽם׃ will be subject to them . miš·ma‘·tām Isaiah 11:15 יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ וְהֶחֱרִ֣ים will devote to destruction wə·he·ḥĕ·rîm לְשׁ֣וֹן the gulf lə·šō·wn יָם־ of the Sea yām- מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt ; miṣ·ra·yim בַּעְיָ֣ם with a scorching ba‘·yām רוּח֑וֹ wind rū·ḥōw וְהֵנִ֥יף He will sweep wə·hê·nîp̄ יָד֛וֹ His hand yā·ḏōw עַל־ over ‘al- הַנָּהָ֖ר the Euphrates . han·nā·hār וְהִכָּ֙הוּ֙ He will split it wə·hik·kā·hū לְשִׁבְעָ֣ה into seven lə·šiḇ·‘āh נְחָלִ֔ים streams nə·ḥā·lîm וְהִדְרִ֖יךְ for men to cross wə·hiḏ·rîḵ בַּנְּעָלִֽים׃ with dry sandals . ban·nə·‘ā·lîm Isaiah 11:16 וְהָיְתָ֣ה There will be wə·hā·yə·ṯāh מְסִלָּ֔ה a highway mə·sil·lāh לִשְׁאָ֣ר for the remnant liš·’ār עַמּ֔וֹ of His people ‘am·mōw אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer יִשָּׁאֵ֖ר remain yiš·šā·’êr מֵֽאַשּׁ֑וּר from Assyria , mê·’aš·šūr כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר as ka·’ă·šer הָֽיְתָה֙ there was hā·yə·ṯāh לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל for Israel lə·yiś·rā·’êl בְּי֥וֹם when bə·yō·wm עֲלֹת֖וֹ they came up ‘ă·lō·ṯōw מֵאֶ֥רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim Isaiah 12:1 הַה֔וּא In that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ you will say : wə·’ā·mar·tā יְהוָ֔ה “ O YHWH , Yah·weh אוֹדְךָ֣ I will praise You . ’ō·wḏ·ḵā כִּ֥י Although kî אָנַ֖פְתָּ You were angry ’ā·nap̄·tā בִּ֑י with me , bî אַפְּךָ֖ Your anger ’ap·pə·ḵā יָשֹׁ֥ב has turned away , yā·šōḇ וּֽתְנַחֲמֵֽנִי׃ and You have comforted me . ū·ṯə·na·ḥă·mê·nî Isaiah 12:2 הִנֵּ֨ה Surely hin·nêh אֵ֧ל God ’êl יְשׁוּעָתִ֛י is my salvation ; yə·šū·‘ā·ṯî אֶבְטַ֖ח I will trust ’eḇ·ṭaḥ וְלֹ֣א and not wə·lō אֶפְחָ֑ד be afraid . ’ep̄·ḥāḏ כִּֽי־ For kî- יָ֣הּ YHWH yāh יְהוָ֔ה GOD Yah·weh עָזִּ֤י is my strength ‘āz·zî וְזִמְרָת֙ and my song , wə·zim·rāṯ וַֽיְהִי־ and He also has become way·hî- לִ֖י my lî לִֽישׁוּעָֽה׃ salvation . ” lî·šū·‘āh Isaiah 12:3 בְּשָׂשׂ֑וֹן With joy bə·śā·śō·wn וּשְׁאַבְתֶּם־ you will draw ū·šə·’aḇ·tem- מַ֖יִם water ma·yim מִמַּעַיְנֵ֖י from the springs mim·ma·‘ay·nê הַיְשׁוּעָֽה׃ of salvation , hay·šū·‘āh Isaiah 12:4 הַה֗וּא and on that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֞ם you will say : wa·’ă·mar·tem הוֹד֤וּ “ Give praise hō·w·ḏū לַֽיהוָה֙ to YHWH ; Yah·weh קִרְא֣וּ proclaim qir·’ū בִשְׁמ֔וֹ His name ! ḇiš·mōw הוֹדִ֥יעוּ Make hō·w·ḏî·‘ū עֲלִֽילֹתָ֑יו His works {known} ‘ă·lî·lō·ṯāw בָֽעַמִּ֖ים among the peoples ; ḇā·‘am·mîm הַזְכִּ֕ירוּ declare haz·kî·rū
