Isaiah 10:28 בָּ֥א [Assyria] has entered bā עַל־ . . . ‘al- עַיַּ֖ת Aiath ‘ay·yaṯ עָבַ֣ר and passed through ‘ā·ḇar בְּמִגְר֑וֹן Migron , bə·miḡ·rō·wn יַפְקִ֥יד storing yap̄·qîḏ כֵּלָֽיו׃ their supplies kê·lāw לְמִכְמָ֖שׂ at Michmash . lə·miḵ·māś Isaiah 10:29 עָֽבְרוּ֙ They have crossed ‘ā·ḇə·rū מַעְבָּרָ֔ה at the ford : ma‘·bā·rāh מָל֣וֹן “ We will spend the night mā·lō·wn לָ֑נוּ lā·nū גֶּ֖בַע at Geba . ” ge·ḇa‘ הָֽרָמָ֔ה Ramah hā·rā·māh חָֽרְדָה֙ trembles ; ḥā·rə·ḏāh גִּבְעַ֥ת Gibeah giḇ·‘aṯ שָׁא֖וּל of Saul šā·’ūl נָֽסָה׃ flees . nā·sāh Isaiah 10:30 צַהֲלִ֥י Cry aloud ṣa·hă·lî קוֹלֵ֖ךְ . . . , qō·w·lêḵ בַּת־ O Daughter baṯ- גַּלִּ֑ים of Gallim ! gal·lîm הַקְשִׁ֥יבִי Listen , haq·šî·ḇî לַ֖יְשָׁה O Laishah ! lay·šāh עֲנִיָּ֥ה O wretched ‘ă·nî·yāh עֲנָתֽוֹת׃ Anathoth ! ‘ă·nā·ṯō·wṯ Isaiah 10:31 מַדְמֵנָ֑ה Madmenah maḏ·mê·nāh נָדְדָ֖ה flees ; nā·ḏə·ḏāh יֹשְׁבֵ֥י the people yō·šə·ḇê הַגֵּבִ֖ים of Gebim hag·gê·ḇîm הֵעִֽיזוּ׃ take refuge . hê·‘î·zū Isaiah 10:32 ע֥וֹד Yet ‘ō·wḏ הַיּ֖וֹם today hay·yō·wm לַֽעֲמֹ֑ד they will halt la·‘ă·mōḏ בְּנֹ֣ב at Nob , bə·nōḇ יְנֹפֵ֤ף shaking yə·nō·p̄êp̄ יָדוֹ֙ a fist yā·ḏōw הַ֣ר at the mount har בֵּית of Daughter bēṯ צִיּ֔וֹן Zion , ṣî·yō·wn גִּבְעַ֖ת at the hill giḇ·‘aṯ יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ס of Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim Isaiah 10:33 הִנֵּ֤ה Behold , hin·nêh הָאָדוֹן֙ the Lord hā·’ā·ḏō·wn יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֔וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ מְסָעֵ֥ף will lop off mə·sā·‘êp̄ פֻּארָ֖ה the branches pu·rāh בְּמַעֲרָצָ֑ה with terrifying power . bə·ma·‘ă·rā·ṣāh וְרָמֵ֤י The tall wə·rā·mê הַקּוֹמָה֙ trees haq·qō·w·māh גְּדוּעִ֔ים will be cut down , gə·ḏū·‘îm וְהַגְּבֹהִ֖ים the lofty ones wə·hag·gə·ḇō·hîm יִשְׁפָּֽלוּ׃ will be felled . yiš·pā·lū Isaiah 10:34 וְנִקַּ֛ף He will clear wə·niq·qap̄ הַיַּ֖עַר the forest hay·ya·‘ar סִֽבְכֵ֥י thickets siḇ·ḵê בַּבַּרְזֶ֑ל with an axe , bab·bar·zel וְהַלְּבָנ֖וֹן and Lebanon wə·hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn יִפּֽוֹל׃ס will fall yip·pō·wl בְּאַדִּ֥יר before the Mighty One . bə·’ad·dîr Isaiah 11:1 חֹ֖טֶר Then a shoot ḥō·ṭer וְיָצָ֥א will spring up wə·yā·ṣā מִגֵּ֣זַע from the stump mig·gê·za‘ יִשָׁ֑י of Jesse , yi·šāy וְנֵ֖צֶר and a Branch wə·nê·ṣer מִשָּׁרָשָׁ֥יו from his roots miš·šā·rā·šāw יִפְרֶֽה׃ will bear fruit . yip̄·reh Isaiah 11:2 ר֣וּחַ The Spirit rū·aḥ יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh וְנָחָ֥ה will rest wə·nā·ḥāh עָלָ֖יו on Him — ‘ā·lāw ר֧וּחַ the Spirit rū·aḥ חָכְמָ֣ה of wisdom ḥāḵ·māh וּבִינָ֗ה and understanding , ū·ḇî·nāh
