Isaiah 10:22 כִּ֣י Though kî אִם־ . . . ’im- עַמְּךָ֤ your people , ‘am·mə·ḵā יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ O Israel , yiś·rā·’êl יִהְיֶ֞ה be yih·yeh כְּח֣וֹל like the sand kə·ḥō·wl הַיָּ֔ם of the sea , hay·yām שְׁאָ֖ר only a remnant šə·’ār יָשׁ֣וּב will return yā·šūḇ בּ֑וֹ . bōw כִּלָּי֥וֹן Destruction kil·lā·yō·wn חָר֖וּץ has been decreed , ḥā·rūṣ שׁוֹטֵ֥ף overflowing šō·w·ṭêp̄ צְדָקָֽה׃ with righteousness . ṣə·ḏā·qāh Isaiah 10:23 כִּ֥י For kî אֲדֹנָ֤י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִה֙ YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֔וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ עֹשֶׂ֖ה will carry out ‘ō·śeh כָלָ֖ה the destruction ḵā·lāh וְנֶחֱרָצָ֑ה decreed wə·ne·ḥĕ·rā·ṣāh בְּקֶ֥רֶב upon bə·qe·reḇ כָּל־ the whole kāl- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ס land . hā·’ā·reṣ Isaiah 10:24 לָכֵ֗ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֤י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִה֙ YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֔וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַ֞ר says : ’ā·mar עַמִּ֛י “ O My people ‘am·mî יֹשֵׁ֥ב who dwell yō·šêḇ צִיּ֖וֹן in Zion , ṣî·yō·wn אַל־ do not ’al- תִּירָ֥א fear tî·rā מֵֽאַשּׁ֑וּר Assyria , mê·’aš·šūr יַכֶּ֔כָּה who strikes yak·kek·kāh בַּשֵּׁ֣בֶט you with a rod baš·šê·ḇeṭ יִשָּֽׂא־ and lifts yiś·śā- וּמַטֵּ֥הוּ his staff ū·maṭ·ṭê·hū עָלֶ֖יךָ against you ‘ā·le·ḵā מִצְרָֽיִם׃ as the Egyptians miṣ·rā·yim בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ did . bə·ḏe·reḵ Isaiah 10:25 כִּי־ For kî- ע֖וֹד in just ‘ō·wḏ מְעַ֣ט a little while mə·‘aṭ מִזְעָ֑ר . . . miz·‘ār זַ֔עַם My fury [against you] za·‘am וְכָ֣לָה will subside , wə·ḵā·lāh וְאַפִּ֖י and My anger wə·’ap·pî עַל־ will turn to ‘al- תַּבְלִיתָֽם׃ their destruction . ” taḇ·lî·ṯām Isaiah 10:26 יְהוָ֤ה And YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאוֹת֙ of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ וְעוֹרֵ֨ר will brandish wə·‘ō·w·rêr שׁ֔וֹט a whip šō·wṭ עָלָ֜יו against them , ‘ā·lāw כְּמַכַּ֥ת as when He struck kə·mak·kaṯ מִדְיָ֖ן Midian miḏ·yān בְּצ֣וּר at the rock bə·ṣūr עוֹרֵ֑ב of Oreb . ‘ō·w·rêḇ וּנְשָׂא֖וֹ He will raise ū·nə·śā·’ōw בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ . . . bə·ḏe·reḵ וּמַטֵּ֙הוּ֙ His staff ū·maṭ·ṭê·hū עַל־ over ‘al- הַיָּ֔ם the sea , hay·yām מִצְרָֽיִם׃ as He did in Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim Isaiah 10:27 וְהָיָ֣ה׀ - wə·hā·yāh הַה֗וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm סֻבֳּלוֹ֙ the burden sub·bo·lōw יָס֤וּר will be lifted yā·sūr מֵעַ֣ל from mê·‘al שִׁכְמֶ֔ךָ your shoulders , šiḵ·me·ḵā וְעֻלּ֖וֹ and the yoke wə·‘ul·lōw מֵעַ֣ל from mê·‘al צַוָּארֶ֑ךָ your neck . ṣaw·wā·re·ḵā עֹ֖ל The yoke ‘ōl וְחֻבַּ֥ל will be broken wə·ḥub·bal מִפְּנֵי־ because mip·pə·nê- שָֽׁמֶן׃ your neck will be too large . šā·men
