Isaiah 7:21 וְהָיָ֖ה - wə·hā·yāh הַה֑וּא On that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm אִ֛ישׁ a man ’îš יְחַיֶּה־ will raise yə·ḥay·yeh- עֶגְלַ֥ת a young cow ‘eḡ·laṯ בָּקָ֖ר . . . bā·qār וּשְׁתֵּי־ and two ū·šə·tê- צֹֽאן׃ sheep , ṣōn Isaiah 7:22 וְהָיָ֗ה and from wə·hā·yāh מֵרֹ֛ב the abundance mê·rōḇ חָלָ֖ב of milk ḥā·lāḇ עֲשׂ֥וֹת they give , ‘ă·śō·wṯ יֹאכַ֣ל he will eat yō·ḵal חֶמְאָ֑ה curds ; ḥem·’āh כִּֽי־ for kî- כָּל־ all kāl- הַנּוֹתָ֖ר who remain han·nō·w·ṯār בְּקֶ֥רֶב in bə·qe·reḇ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the land hā·’ā·reṣ יֹאכֵ֔ל will eat yō·ḵêl חֶמְאָ֤ה curds ḥem·’āh וּדְבַשׁ֙ and honey . ū·ḏə·ḇaš Isaiah 7:23 הַה֔וּא And on that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day , bay·yō·wm וְהָיָה֙ - wə·hā·yāh יִֽהְיֶ֣ה - yih·yeh כָל־ in every ḵāl מָק֗וֹם place mā·qō·wm אֲשֶׁ֧ר that ’ă·šer יִֽהְיֶה־ had yih·yeh- שָּׁ֛ם . . . šām אֶ֥לֶף a thousand ’e·lep̄ גֶּ֖פֶן vines ge·p̄en בְּאֶ֣לֶף worth a thousand [shekels] bə·’e·lep̄ כָּ֑סֶף of silver , kā·sep̄ לַשָּׁמִ֥יר only briers laš·šā·mîr וְלַשַּׁ֖יִת and thorns wə·laš·ša·yiṯ יִֽהְיֶֽה׃ will be found . yih·yeh Isaiah 7:24 יָ֣בוֹא Men will go yā·ḇō·w שָׁ֑מָּה there šām·māh וּבַקֶּ֖שֶׁת with bow ū·ḇaq·qe·šeṯ בַּחִצִּ֥ים and arrow , ba·ḥiṣ·ṣîm כִּי־ for kî- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the land hā·’ā·reṣ תִּֽהְיֶ֥ה will be tih·yeh כָל־ [covered with] ḵāl שָׁמִ֥יר briers šā·mîr וָשַׁ֖יִת and thorns . wā·ša·yiṯ Isaiah 7:25 יִרְאַ֖ת For fear yir·’aṯ שָׁמִ֣יר of the briers šā·mîr וָשָׁ֑יִת and thorns , wā·šā·yiṯ לֹֽא־ you will no longer lō- תָב֣וֹא traverse ṯā·ḇō·w שָׁ֔מָּה - šām·māh הֶהָרִ֗ים the hills he·hā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer יֵעָ֣דֵר֔וּן once tilled yê·‘ā·ḏê·rūn וְכֹ֣ל . . . wə·ḵōl בַּמַּעְדֵּר֙ by the hoe ; bam·ma‘·dêr וְהָיָה֙ they will become wə·hā·yāh שׁ֔וֹר [places] for oxen šō·wr לְמִשְׁלַ֣ח to graze lə·miš·laḥ שֶֽׂה׃פ and sheep śeh וּלְמִרְמַ֖ס to trample . ū·lə·mir·mas Isaiah 8:1 יְהוָה֙ Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלַ֔י to me , ’ê·lay קַח־ “ Take qaḥ- לְךָ֖ lə·ḵā גָּד֑וֹל a large gā·ḏō·wl גִּלָּי֣וֹן scroll gil·lā·yō·wn וּכְתֹ֤ב and write ū·ḵə·ṯōḇ עָלָיו֙ on ‘ā·lāw אֱנ֔וֹשׁ it with an ordinary ’ĕ·nō·wōš בְּחֶ֣רֶט stylus : bə·ḥe·reṭ לְמַהֵ֥ר Maher-shalal-hash-baz lə·ma·hêr שָׁלָ֖ל . . . šā·lāl חָ֥שׁ . . . ḥāš בַּֽז׃ . . . . baz Isaiah 8:2 וְאָעִ֣ידָה And I will appoint wə·’ā·‘î·ḏāh
